The somewhat likely, but unlikely duo ends up falling in love rather quickly. When things out of their control is thrown their way, the certainty of their future together is threatened. At the end of it all, will their thriving relationship survive? Or will their love story come to an end, in turmoil and tragedy?

I really enjoyed the story of Remi and Royce! They both had such traumatic childhoods! They both had their lives completely turned upside down, Remi’s in the worst way possible. Despite their age and inexperience the love they showed each other was definitely a healing type love. I really hate that Remi didn’t make amends with Niya. While I understood her inner struggle I do believe that Niya was a victim too and she should’ve extended an olive branch. Royce was really that N!gg@! He was wise beyond his years and had a plan knowing early on what he wanted for himself and his family. I’m glad he was able to be the bigger person at the end of the book with his sister. Forgiveness isn’t always about the other person and he started to realize that. This was a great story about a young yet mature love!

Sweet and refreshing read
Remi and Royce went through so much to be so young. They literally saved each other. Royce saved Remi from her trifling azz family and Remi taught him to trust again. Remi gave him even more reason to go hard for his nephew and ultimately her. Chile that nasty trifling sucka Donnie. 🤮🤢🤬😡 he got everything her deserved. I really wish Remi and niyah could have talked and gotten counseling together. Royce did what he had to do for his family and went legit. Even though he was young, he was wise and knew what he wanted. He was stand up guy. Overall great read with a happy ending.

They needed each other
Remi and Royce was such a heartfelt read. With both living with the traumas of their past and present, they found hope in each other. It was refreshing reading about a young couple loving each other without toxicity in their relationship.

Great Job
I enjoyed this book.. It broke my heart to see Remi going through all she went through.. And her brother Donni deserved the fate he received. Royce was the perfect match for Remi. I liked the way their relationship was built and the mutual understanding they established…

It's Royce!
This book was incredible! There were very heavy topics and situations discussed and shown on page, but this author was very respectful and responsible with her trigger warning and I for one appreciated that.
These 2 main characters, Remi and Royce were so young, strong, resilient, loving, and beautiful. They were perfect for one another. Remi was given a raw deal at a young age but she never let it beat her up or down and she continued being willing to love and trust and that is MAJOR. Royce. What can I say about Royce? He is the epitome of what a MAN is. A protector, a provider, patient, loving and kind. He was so very smart and light years ahead of men his age. He was so meticulous with how he moved, he had no choice but to he successful. I absolutely loved this couple. The storyline kept me engaged. The characters were very well developed. The dialogue was believable and fresh. I really, really enjoyed this. Even with all the heartache, there was also so much more light and I loved that.

This book was dope!!
Remi experienced a lot in her young life after the death of her father. Living with her deadbeat mama and siblings was hell. Meeting Royce was the best thing that ever happened to her he became her friend, protector and man. Their love story was one for the books and I really enjoyed reading about it!! Great job Miss Candice Remi and Royce have definitely become one of my favorite couples !!!

Remi and Royce definitely came a long way from things that would have broken anyone else
Whew. Royce and Remi, especially Remi, went through some things that could have turned anyone cold hearted and ruthless to the world. They are proof that no matter what comes your way, as long as you stay true to who you are and your instincts (in regards to Royce), then you can overcome your struggle and obstacles.

That Was Messed Up What E Did To Royce...I'm Glad He Was Smart & Got Out The Game. I'm Happy That Cashmere Found Her Someone Cause E Was Not It. Very nice read
This book was recommended by someone in a Facebook group and I enjoyed it tremendously. I love the direction it went in and it wasn't fast paced but he it just enough drama to make you keep reading but it wasn't overly dramatized. I Will be reading this author again

enjoyable
I loved this couple and how they loved each other. Remi had it so bad her days couldn’t seem to get better. Royce needed her just like she needed him. I’m so glad they got their happy ending. I wished Remi could have patched things up with her family just for the extra peace but this was an amazing story. I enjoyed

What a heartfelt novel...
Loved Remi and Royce.. Their love was raw and unfiltered. Remi was thrust into an unloving environment and Royce was left behind. Both were heartbroken and just trying to find their way through life and heartbreak. They ended up finding each other. Brava! 📚❤🔥

Alright story
This was an alright story. I thought Remi & Royce were a good match for each other since they both had terrible siblings in different ways. There were some grammatical errors, and I thought a bit of the story was written by a child. A few repeating of things already said. Overall, I'm giving this story a 3.5 in stars.

Great Read! Royce was something special the way he took his nephew in and he was a kid himself speak volumes of his character. I love the way Royce loved on remi and Kayden. As for remi siblings and egg donor Donny got what he deserved . The rest of them going to be stuck and miserable.
