This book outlines a good starting plan. If you have no idea where to start your management program this book can give you tremendous help . The problem is time. This plan requires a great deal of patience and dedication that most diabetics are not willing or able to spend . Good luck .
I feel like this title and cover are doing a disservice to this book. Had it not been included with Kindle Unlimited, I don’t think I would have even clicked on the listing while scrolling through Amazon, and that’s a shame because this is an excellent resource.
Reading the description and reviews made me decide to give it a try, and I’m very glad that I did. Yes, there is a 30 day step by step guide, but it’s so much more than that. It’s not just about diet and exercise - the author did a great job reassuring the mindset of the reader. I think it’s really nice how kind she was, telling the reader how to let go of the guilt and the best way to move forward.
I feel like I learned a lot, about so many different things involving diabetes. I think it was catered more towards people who are just finding out that they are pre-diabetic or diabetic, as opposed to people who have been diagnosed for years.
I do think it would be helpful for someone to read this from start to finish shortly after their diagnosis, so they know what to expect, and then go back and read the daily action steps if they want to do one step per day. But I think it would be helpful to not wait 30 days to learn all of the information in this book.
