The Gospel for Loyalists: A 40-Day Devotional for Dependable, Courageous Guardians: (Enneagram Type 6)

Rate this book
What would you do if you had nothing to fear?

For the Enneagram Six—the Loyalist—life is all about protecting the ones you love. While our increasingly naive and unreliable world needs your faithfulness and courage, sometimes your need for security causes you to get stuck, overprepare, sleep with one eye open, and struggle to trust others.

Certified Enneagram Coach and pastor, Tyler Zach, offers this 40-day devotional to give you confidence to stand up and offer your tender strength to a world in desperate need. Your God-given purpose is larger than your fear and requires supernatural courage.

Inside, you’ll discover how to become a best-case scenario thinker, be more flexible, grow in self-confidence, pursue success over suruvial, and view safety not as an end, but the means to a better end—so you can pursue all of God’s bold aspirations for your life. Be prepared to encounter a faithful God who perfectly understands your concerns, extends reassurance for your doubts, and offers you unconditional rest and protection.

Read this on behalf of my 6 husband. Insightful.

As Tyler continues his series through the nine Enneagram types, he continues to show his wisdom, understanding, and compassion for each type and their unique challenges and struggles.

Instead of being another "here's what a Six looks and acts like," this book offers a unique perspective and 40 days of hope-filled challenges, stories, illustrations, and scripture that point a Six toward courage and community. Each day's reflection ends with specific and scripted prayers, questions for reflection, and a prompt to respond to.

This is a great read for any Six (or someone who wants to understand, love or encourage one).

I have started reading this devotional by Tyler Zach. I first started following him on Instagram so when I saw a devotional for my Type I was very interested. It is so great to have a devotional so personal and relatable to myself. It builds you up but also challenges you. I look forward to taking some time with the reflection questions. I usually journal so this will be helpful. I would recommend purchasing this devotional.

As an Enneagram 6, this book provided me with gospel truth for some of my unhealthy traits. It was nice to be somewhat validated for my fears and the way I encounter the world around me while giving biblical truth on how I can let go and rely on God instead of feeling the need to predict, prepare and control. I love how the author gives prayers and then practical applications.

Highly recommend any of Tyler Zach’s devotional for the enneagram. Eye opening, comforting, challenging and inspiring for a 6 the Loyalist. I took so many notes all over this book, I will definitely come back to this over and over.

This book didn't feel like the Bible was sprinkled on top of an ennegram book and yet I really appreciated having a devotional that really keyed into my strengths and insecurities.

This is such a well written devotional! I learned so much about the Enneagram 6 as well as the Bible and loved that they were tied together like this. It was a positive, thought provoking read each morning.
