Echoes from the Creeks of Niger Delta is a powerful expository on the underdevelopment of the Ijaw territories in the Niger Delta region and it's neglect by successive regimes in Nigeria since independence, even in the face of it's enormous natural resources sustaining the development and economy of the federation of Nigeria. This has been the reason for options of self determination crises in the Niger Delta region dating back to1966 before the advent of the Nigerian civil war sustained by the present politics and governance in Nigeria 4th Republic.
