This fic has killed me. That's it. I'm just a husk of what I used to be. My soul is SHATTERED. My heart has MELTED. I'm done for.
Out of the big 3 in Dramione (Bex-Chan, Senlinyu, Onyx_and_Elm), I have to say that Onyx is definitely the best writer. All 3 of them have amazing writing but Onyx takes the cake.
I can't even say that much about this book, it's just THAT good. I know Onyx is taking on hiatus to deal with her mental health, but I really really reallyyyyyyyy hope she comes back and finishes this, because it has soooo much potential.
This has made it to the very top of my coveted dramione favourites, which is a a huge shock to me since I avoid werewolve fics in general. But this one was so popular and done so well, that I absolutely fell in love with it.
Draco is toxic, possessive perfection.
Hermione is totally OOC, but I still love her.
The wolf/bisect was actually so intriguing and I love the concept of paramours and rituals and all that stuff.
I will be waiting for this fic to be finished, it's that good. I'll wait a decade if I have to. I have sooo many unanswered questions and I need to know what will happen next. If Onyx doesn't come back to finish this, I'll actually go insane.

wip, rn on chapter 38, this far along, it is 3.75 stars yes but ik myself enough to know i’ll change it when its finished (lets just hope its an upgrade). real fast paced, got me invested just by the first few chapters, but i could feel it dragging near the end (not ending ending). was also gonna round it up to 4 but nah. there were few things id like to change if i could and it felt really incomplete (ik it is uncompleted but. yk what i mean)
that ending, i KNEW THAT SERUM WAS GONNA BE A PROBLEM✋ HERMIONE BRIGHTEST WITCH WHO🤡
also that one scene where hermione brought neville to help malfoy out, malfoy rudely stringing curses non stop to him and shy timid softie neville just take it all unaffectedly in a stride made me wonder whatd malbottom/draville ff would be like. HOWEVER. longbocey/nedrian works too. the author really know how to make me care for her side characters’ story even when they only showed up a minute a chapter once in a while. in this case tho, the 2ndary couple didnt have enough screen time to even be called as a 2ndary couple like theo-pansy breath mints/battle scar. there was only 1 scene of their almost-kiss and i want more

HOLY. FREAKING. CRAP
First of all, this fan-fiction is a WIP (work in progress) so TECHNICALLY I shouldn’t count this as finished but still. I absolutely and positively LOVED this fan-fiction and can’t wait to read more! I still have an abundance of questions but I guess I’ll have to test my patience. Anyways, READ THIS!! It’s dark, it’s heavy, it made me question wtf was going to come next throughout the entire book but WOW the writing is incredible. Genuinely one of my new favorite ff’s I’ve read this year! 5 stars

I didn’t know I needed werewolf Draco in my life but now he is here and I just…ugh….I was up all night reading what’s been written so far and now I’m ruined because it isn’t a finished fic.
Onyx writes the best Hermione/Draco pairings…and her ability to write angst that isn’t cringe is God tier talent. Not to mention the sexual tension is just *chefs kiss* whenever I need to feel something I read BM/BS and now I have added this gem to my “gives all the feelings” list.
If I could pay Onyx every day I would. The talent is truly superb.

one of the most addictive things I've read. beautiful. the possessiveness, darkish behaviors, power play. gahhh their bond and both the plot and the author's capacity to make me squeal like a pig is just too good. this book has everythingggg I wish it wasn't a WIP but i understand the author!! I hope some day they come back and finish this, I'll be so happy to read more of them. it's so frustrating and yet entertaining to see them not fully trust each other. JESUS it's so hot and has exactly the darkish toxic things that i enjoy to read and never find in books without it being misogynistic or badly written. i love the amount of devotion and power this book gives to Hermione and also the vulnerability both of them go thru.
i found myself interested the whole time. this book has cocaine, I'm sure. just the perfect amount of smut, plot, mystery, angst ugh. I'm intrigued by some tags that didn't appear 👀👀 hope to read more about it and see so much of this bamf and dark Hermione. there's dub con and cnc warnings but I'm not sure I've seen them? at least I wasn't uncomfy at any time, maybe they're supposed to appear later or maybe it's just a way of warning about some morally grey situations that they go thru. personally, and I am very susceptible to consent situations, i didn't find them disturbing at all
pd: please give miss Hermione some head or special treatment. i absolutely LOVED to see draco being all sub and receiving, so freaking hot and good to read. but so far, to the point it's been updated (ch 37), i feel we're lacking on draco giving and it would be good for him, but mostly Hermione, to be the one receiving pleasure. miss girl deserves her prize ykkk

DNF at the 10% mark because of the strange imprinting thing Draco does on Hermione. I get it, but it reminded me too much of Jacob in Twilight (not in a good way) for me to want to continue reading. Not a badly written fic, but just not for me. Also not to be a prude, but the f-word every other sentence got kind of annoying.

hmm. I know this one is not complete, but I've read 39 chapters and am still feeling just meh, so I likely will not continue this. I think parts of this were very good, but idk, maybe I'm just comparing everything to SenLinYu's work which I am desperately obsessed with. Hermione did not give me enough Hermione vibes in this one....I think it would've worked better with a different character. not once did I think this version fit the 'brightest witch of her age' quote. also, part of what I think defines hermione's character is her true friendship and love for harry and ron...I did not think that was portrayed at all here.
neville/adrian was a sweet pairing. werewolf draco/stranger is interesting, and I liked the bond between them and ability for them to read each other's thoughts (makes for some interesting, angsty interactions). I felt the urge to continue in the story, but I think this one was a bit too slow-burn without enough character development for me.

4.5⭐️ loved this one but the last 200 pages or so kinda threw me off and felt a tad rushed. Still obsessed and don’t think I will ever get over this version of dramione. ALSO this book marked my reading challenge completed and I have to say with being in college and working i’m super proud of myself for actually finishing a reading goal, it’s not nearly as much as I would have read say back in 2022 but it’s definitely a start.
