HARRY POTTER MEETS PERCY JACKSON This box set includes all three books in the #1 bestselling series DEMIGODS ACADEMY. A Young Adult Urban Fantasy saga full of magic, mythology, and adventures.
On their eighteenth birthday, everyone in the world receives a Shadowbox—a magic box that is a gift like no other… because it comes from the Gods. For the majority of people, there’s only a birthday message inside their Shadowbox. For a few chosen, though, there’s something more. Nobody knows what those special guys receive. What’s known is that they disappear and never come back.
Rumors say they are invited to join the Gods’ Army… I think it’s just a load of crap.
My name is Melany Richmond, and for my entire life, I’ve been an outcast, an orphan tossed around like a ship in a storm. I don’t think that gods really exist. I never even received my Shadowbox when I turned eighteen. Maybe because nobody knows my true birth date, or because not even the gods care about me. After all, I'm a blue haired rebel and troublemaker with tattoos all over my arms.
I’m not like Callie Demos, the beautiful blondie living in the huge estate my adopted mother takes care of. She is the perfect specimen of Greek devotion and nobody doubts she will get “the call.” She has everything in her life and doesn’t appreciate any of it. Her birthday party is the biggest event in town, and everyone wants to be there when she receives her blessing. To me, it’s just another ridiculous parade.
But when I secretly open her Shadowbox and feel its magic on my skin, all my beliefs vanish.
Gods do exist. And if the scroll in my hands says the truth, they have a secret academy where their recruits train to become demigods.
I’ve done really bad things in my life, but stealing Callie’s opportunity to attend the God’s Academy? It’s got to be the worst.
If Gods find out I’m a faker, what was supposed to be someone else’s gift may turn into my personal curse. "As a huge fan of Greek mythology, I absolutely adored jumping into a world where all of my favorite gods and goddesses come to life! -Canada Starkey ★★★★★
"MUST READ! All the characters, locations, and scenarios are written in such detail that you imagine being amid the Academy experiencing the training and trials alongside Melany and her friends (and enemies). OMG, what an ending. -Author Danah Logan ★★★★★

Elisa S. Amore is the author of the paranormal romance saga Touched. She wrote the first book while working at her parents’ diner, dreaming up the story between one order and the next. She lives in Italy with her husband, her son, and a pug that sleeps all day. She’s wild about pizza and traveling, which is a source of constant inspiration for her. She dreamed up some of the novels’ love scenes while strolling along the canals in Venice and visiting the home of Romeo’s Juliet in romantic Verona. Her all-time favorite writer is Shakespeare, but she also loves Nicholas Sparks. She prefers to do her writing at night, when the rest of the world is asleep and she knows the stars above are keeping her company. She’s now a full-time writer of romance and young adult fiction. In her free time she likes to read, swim, walk in the woods, and daydream. She collects books and animated movies, all jealously guarded under lock and key. Her family has nicknamed her “the bookworm.” After its release, the first book of her saga quickly made its way up the charts, winning over thousands of readers. Touched: The Caress of Fate is her debut novel and the first in the four-book series originally published in Italy by one of the country’s leading publishing houses. The book trailer was shown in Italian movie theaters during the premiere of the film Twilight: Breaking Dawn—Part 2.
So let me say I usually love books about Greek Gods, powers etc. this book seemed to drag. SPOILER: I hated her relationship with her clan leader!!!!!!!!! That honestly ruined the storyline for me. It just didn’t seem to fit that particular Gods character/persona. And it went against her bad ass character. Mel is a complete badass, loyal etc. then she meets this one God and is completely changes her personality which I hated. It just ruined the storyline for me. I loved her friendships. I read this because once I start a book I just need to read it to the end. Loved everyone’s powers m, personalities besides her clan leader and her personality change to match. I will say it dragged on! I won’t be finishing the series itself.
It has a great storyline. It didn’t go into the past of the gods to much, just kinda flowed with a story of the gods fighting and scheming for more power. Melany and Lucian are the top characters trying to save the academy and the world from the bad apples of the gods. I’m this story, gods do die. So it was a good twist to other stories
Melany is so strong, even when she doesn't believe so. There is a lot that happens in this trilogy. Some that makes you smile, others cringe, even worse curse the Gods, but there is such a strong plot and characters that you are never bored.
Good storytelling, great characters, and world building that is, well, out of this world. Truly enjoyable and immersive. Prepare to lose a few hours while you wander through a world that you won't want to leave.
Started off with a good strong female lead and then it quickly went downhill like oil barrel on fire right into the CW romance office. She latches on to this guy who is possessive as hell, (what cha looking at, whatcha doing, who you talkin to ) count how many times.
1 ) The Gods are absolute dicks in this. 2 ) They are desperate to recruit children for the "so called army" and they only recruit 30 ish of them every 4 years and they happen to be living within each other? 3 ) How do these kids know, what they know before meeting the so called gods? Know one is aloud to leave training, like ever. 4) MC leaves training, 1 month in. 5) The Gods are wasting time training the kids themselves? ( see 2 ), They have a Army don't they? They been training others for decades right, don't they have others that can handle these duties? Like oh I don't know, like ANY commissioned rank officer of this so called army.
I am not sure why so many seem to think its advisable to add pornographic scenes to what would otherwise be a PG or even G rated item. If you want to write erotica, just write it. One small scene is not going to attract anyone wanting that, but will definitely e!I'm I ate a whole audience who doesn't. I would have given this set 4 or perhaps even 5 stars, but adding sexually explicit material when it adds absolutely nothing is a trend I am not supporting.
I did read these in season, but had to put them in theyre own category. But what about the season as a whole. Fantastic way to have these stories go from one to the next and finding out who is really against who in this dramatic political mythology story. The whole of these three books were good. It out weighs the bad. Hard as that is to think. But I did enjoy reading this book as a whole. Middle is what lags it, and the last is only saved due to it piecing the story together.
Pretty good, all the characters had charming traits about them. Did not like how she felt about Hades, though. Her juggling two guys in love with her, kissing Hades in one chapter and making out with Lucian in the next, I didn't know how she was able to do it. Is Zeus really dead? Gone forever? I hope so, because these gods were too problematic. I still look forward to reading the next half of the series and seeing how things continue!

The love. The fighting. The young cadet's wins and losses kept me riveted in this series. I was eager to get to know what comes next and I was not disappointed. I was blown away by the maturity of each character presented who has grown into their power. I can't wait to see what happened in the next few books.
The first two books were good. The last book was okay. This is defiantly for teens and not adults. If your a teen to for it. I don't tell what is in the books I read. That is for you to read and find out. You may enjoy something I didn't.
It just wouldn't end. Worst grammar and vocabulary I've ever encountered. I thought the story might be clever despite the the poor told until all the sex in the the third book.
Oh man!! This book was awesome!!! I couldn't put it down. The suspense was awesome!! It kept me on my toes and was excited even more with each chapter!!! Way to go , and AWESOME job!!
I loved the characters and the plot. A fun take on the old mythology. Some things were a bit rushed in my opinion, but I overall thought this was a story hard to out down. Kept going back to it.
The world created with old and new is an ideal juxtaposition to introduce the concept of heroes and Greek gods to a more mature audience than Percy Jackson; yet creates the environment similar to the Wizardry world that of Harry Potter
This adventure definitely took a lot of turns and had a lot of interesting moments as well as frustrating understanding… None of which deterred from its great storyline! I am jumping into the next set to see what else happens.
I listened to the audiobooks. I loved this series. It features many heroes, villains, good and bad gods and mystical creatures. I loved the unexpected turns as much as the complicated feelings and tasks.
What an adventure. I absolutely love Greek mythology and all takes of the gods and titans. This was definitely Hogwarts meets Camp Halfblood and I enjoyed every page. On to season 2
