Roger Elwood was an American science fiction writer and editor, perhaps best known for having edited a large number of anthologies and collections for a variety of publishers in the early 1970s. Elwood was also the founding editor of Laser Books and, in more recent years, worked in the evangelical Christian market.
More plot than most of his works. But as my re-read of my once-large (and now very shrunk, in deed) shelf of Elwood books has proven, most of his books don't stand the test of time, for me.
Some aspects, I actually liked. But it wasn't "fun", and more and more, I want my fiction to have that element of fun.
A parabolic tale of the fight between God and Satan thru the life of a logical wanderer. The book seemed disjointed at times, but still had a good message.
