Kinship spans the cosmos, but it is perhaps most life-changing when experienced directly and personally. What experiences of yours expanded your understanding of being human in relation to other-than-human beings? How can we respectfully engage a world full of human and nonhuman persons?
The thing about this 5 volume set is that you get to read a variety of writers from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, interests, culture perspectives and fields. I particularly resonated with some more than others, but even the writers with whom I had less natural affinity with taught me things I would not have been exposed to otherwise.
This book was so beautifully written. It makes you truly consider the beings around you, and how you interact with them every day. I would personally say that this book should be a must-read for everyone.
