I understand that sleeping with the boss is a bad idea.

To be fair, I was already sleeping with my co-worker.

And yeah, we all live in the same bunkhouse on a ranch in the middle of the Central Texas Hill Country, but we’re professionals. We can handle it.
Besides, I’ve made it pretty darn clear that I am in no way a relationship guy.

Am I trying to hide a mountain of pain after losing the unrequited love of my life? Sure…but we don’t say that part out loud.

I’m just trying to figure out who gave Joaquin and Colt permission to go off and start something on their own. I thought our boss / co-worker arrangement was pretty good, especially after that impromptu three-way.

But now they’re excluding me.
It almost feels like they’re trying to make me jealous. Not that I’m jealous, or whatever.

Besides, I could never love someone as much as I loved Renée. There isn’t a single person in the world who could take her place.
.
.
.
Huh.
Is it possible that I need two people to show me how to love again?

“So Operation: Make Wick Fall is in effect?” […]
“Full steam ahead,”

It was not an easy endeavor but it was delicious. I love these three guys together and I’m glad Warwick got over himself to give that thing he felt for both, Colt and Joaquin, (called love) a shot. I think I speak for all three of them when I say, it was worth it.

I was so fucking jealous before, but that’s because I didn’t know how it would all work out. Joaquin and Colt have their own relationship. Colt and I have our own relationship. Joaquin and I have our own relationship. And then there's the three of us.

You gotta fucking love these cowboys! ♡

I struggled a lot with my rating for this one. Who read my reviews for the previous books in the series could already tell that I was riled up a lot for Warwicks book but it couldn’t quite live up to the high expectations I gathered prior to starting it. So, only four stars it is.

side note: I imagine that this beautiful man that is grazing the cover looks exactly like Warwick does… when he catches the two men he is unconsciously in love with making out without inviting him into the mix.

And, at the end of this series, I want to add another 5+ stars for the two characters alone that are Sam and Desi ♡ They are a delight, especially together. A friendship made in heaven. With a lot of glitter ☆.*

This review may get long but I have many feelings and thoughts about this book and sadly not good ones. I feel like I have read a different book than all the other 5 star reviews. Book 1&2 of this series are great. Book 3 did not work that well for me but I was very excited for this one. There will be spoilers from the previous books and while I will try to keep spoilers for this one at a minimum they will be some.

The Characters

We meet Colt in book 2 and he was (and is) a great friend to Luke. It’s hinted in previous books that he has caught feelings on his no strings attached situation with Warwick.

Joaquin is also introduced in book 2 and more prominently in book 3. Similar thing as with Colt, he catches feelings. Cause apparently Warwick has a magical dick or something. He was my least liked character going into this book.
Warwick is the one I was most interested in, especially considering his tragic backstory of his unrequited love for Renee. I was prepared to have my heart broken by him and I hoped he could find the love he needed. But the book really took a turn and I ended up hating him. And that’s not a good thing if I hate the main MC.

Warwick was a selfish asshole and I do not care how much his previous heart break with Renee and Wyatt hurt him, that doesn’t give anyone an excuse to be so inconsiderate. Warwick knows both Joaquin and Colt have feelings for him. And he still pursues them whenever he wants, while at the same time treating them like disposable fuck buddies. And then he has the audacity to be annoyed when Colt and Joaquin sleep together without him. Something they did while he was out fucking someone else!? Like make this make sense please.

As his “therapist” says:
„So you’re good to sleep with either or both of them, but if they take advantage of the same rules, it’s wrong?“

One time he comes home from fucking yet another stranger and he gets annoyed that Joaquin isn’t acting jealous. Below are his thoughts:
“I’d be a liar if I said I’m not aware that Joaquin has started developing feelings for me. Sure, he seems willing to be an adult about it and not push for something he knows I can't give him…but shouldn’t there at least be a goddamn hint of jealousy?“

This was the point where I didn’t give a shit anymore about his tragic past (abusive childhood) and his tragic love story with Renee. Those don’t excuse him being such a humongous asshole.

Colt, oh Colt. There is a couple of scenes early in the book that really broke my heart. Colt catches Joaquin and Warwick having sex several times and it really hits the insecurities he has about his body and his sexual preferences and I wanted to smack both of the horny assholes that where causing him so much pain. Also I know he is a big guy. I do not need to have his squishness be mentioned every single time he is in the page.

The sex

The book gets one extra star for the sex scenes. Some of them were pretty hot. There were a lot, and frankly the book needed less sex and more communication and you know more relationships development. But they were okay. The first threesome while hot was hard to read due to it being from Warwick point of view. So you have him enjoy this hot sex with the two guys that are in love with him, knowing full well that the next day he will be sleeping with someone else.

The side quests a.k.a introduce all the characters for the next books

I do not need to meet all the characters in one book. I frankly do not care. One or two glimpses? Yes. Introducing several couples? No. Plus it just made the plot so clunky. We had the addiction side plot that introduced the sheriff and Jason. Then the burning building for dramatic effect plus more couples introduction. Whose names I have already forgotten cause there is like 50 different people in a 250 page book.

The Bisexuals are horny side quest
I do not think that was the intention of the author but it was quite jarring to have the MCs describe their sexuality as “multi-sexual” instead of bi/pan and also at the last moment make sure to mention that yes now they are happy together but they still play with vagina, less we forget that they need variety cause you know “multi-sexual”.

let’s make someone jealous instead of communicating
Rule number 1 of polyamory is communication. I’m sure it’s also rule number 2 and 3. Here we have the opposite. Joaquin and Colt decide to fake date and lay it thick in front of Warwick so he gets jealous and comes back to them. Not only it’s ridiculously childish but also happens to be cruel cause they are playing into the insecurities he has about being left out.

And lastly the epilogue. I want to read about the people on the book. Not about some other couple getting a baby.

I’m going to re read Sparrow and try to forget that book 3 and especially book 4 are a thing.

Well done mmm romance with a bit too much promiscuity for me…

…because yes, call me old fashioned, but I’m not sure I like too much “openness” in relationships.

I’ve been struggling a bit with this series by Kelly Fox, because - while I loved the first book- you have the ongoing theme of Renée, the (dead) wife of Wyatt, in each and every book: she’s the mother of Trip in book 1, the friend of Sparrow in book 2, the wife of Wyatt (and sister of Desi) in book 3. And finally, the love of his life for Warwick, who’s been the +1 for Wyatt and Renée in early days, an arrangement that ended because Wyatt couldn’t deal with Warwick and Renée developing feelings for each other.

So yeah. Not the best premise. Too much grief, too many tears, and too much “what would have Renée said/done”.

Warwick stayed at the ranch even after their arrangement ended and made a rule of never ever getting serious with his hookups, but makes an exception for Joaquin, the Argentinian father of Sparrow. And for Colt, Luke’s (see book 2) best friend.

Why I’m rating this book so highly despite the serious niggles I have: it’s rare to read about a mmm polyamorous relationship that’s done well, it’s usually some kind of 2+1 scenario. Not here though: they each have different, but deep connections to each other, each in need of a bit of space of their own, but still complete each other as a throuple, and I don’t only mean sexually.

Joaquin… he’s my favourite character. Thoughtful, warm, considerate and dealing with grace and self deprecating humour when it comes to the age gap between him and the other 2.

Colt is the cuddly baby bear, the youngest of the three of them with almost 30 years. I loved especially the way the others made him feel beautiful despite his stockier figure, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “big, beautiful fat ass” described as lovingly as I did here.

And finally, Warwick, who - reluctantly at first - realised that he’s more than ready for a relationship with these 2.

As I mentioned, the “promiscuous” part isn’t my jam, but as long as all participants are consenting adults, it’s ok I guess (not talking about the throuple, but about the openness to more partners than they already are).

What made me rate it higher than 3 stars is, again, the narration by Declan Winters, who’s Texan drawl I already loved, but who’s Spanish lilt for Joaquin made me melt to a puddle 🫠

Oh and Sam and Desi ofc, who added a bit of sparkle even to the more serious scenes 💖💖💖

I really wish you could do half star ratings!! This wasn't a 3 (didn't love it, didn't hate it) but it also wasn't a 4 (loved it but something was missing) - this was a solid 3.5 because I really liked it but there was a lot missing!

Firstly can we please stop flogging the dead horse that is Renee.... Is the woman up for a sainthood? She has absolutely dominated this entire series and she's not even a living character! Everyone is either related to her, loved her or was deeply in love with her. She's become a caricature, she has no known flaws and I would not be suprised at this point if she shat rainbows and unicorns.... I mean I get the intention behind it, showing how strong and tangled the bonds between all of these guys is and that she was essentially the glue that brought them all together, but having Warwick be the guy that was seriously involved with Renee and then Wyatt couldn't handle it... it felt like it was a step too far! Maybe I'm just totally heartless but I was so over Renee after Wyatt's book and it genuinely felt like maybe the dead should just stay dead now?!?!

Moving on to the relationship, I really need to readjust my mindset to assume that every Kelly Fox book is actually erotica and not a romance, there just might happen to be a decent romance within some of the books. The amount of sex scenes just for the sake of it is beyond ridiculous at this point. It doesn't add to the story, it rarely progresses the story, and it just enforces my opinion that the majority of her characters are actually in lust, not love.

The romancing aspect of this trio was all done off page. Joaquin and Colt go on some amazing dates, but we don't get to be part of them or see them building their connection, we're just told about it after the fact. I was really hopeful this was going to be more about emotions, feelings and falling in love. I loved when Joaquin and Colt were co-conspiring to get Warwick to open his eyes to the relationship possibilities between the three of them, I loved that Joaquin and Colt had a more tender relationship and that Joaquin and Warwick were more explosive. I loved how the individual couples worked amongst the trio and how they all worked together - I laughed and cried a lot during this book.

I was just disappointed that it all kept going back to sex! They have a couple of BIG conversations but they always end in sex. They have some heart to hearts but they always end in sex. They have arguments, health issues, family drama... it all ends in sex! Like I get it, they're into each other, stop beating me over the head with how attracted they are to each other and give me some actual substance please!

I know I have the perspective of an Ace person, but I'm not a prude, neither am I repressed or shy about sexual content, I do enjoy erotica when I choose to read it, but I am getting tired of reading what's classed as a romance and then having zero romance take place on the page! If the balance was better between the emotional side of the relationship, the sexual side of the relationship and the day to day life of the characters, then these would be really great books but the balance is always 80% sex, 15% farm chores and 5% emotional content and it really is getting boring.

I have loved every book in this series so far and I had a good feeling about this book as well especially looking at the characters in this poly romance (Warwick, Joaquin and Colt)

Colt(who we met in Sparrow), was a sweetheart and a teddy bear with a heart of gold who, despite all his best intentions had strong feelings for Warwick.

Joaquin (Sparrow's hunky dad who I liked in all his prior appearances) was somewhat of an enigma. A sexy one, but still an enigma because aside knowing he loved his son and ex-wife and ws free-spirited, we knew next to nothing about him.

The final part of this throuple, Warwick, was the playboy with the revolving door of seemingly never ending lovers. We get his back story here and how he ended up the way he was.

In terms of sexual chemistry, these three undeniably had it. I had to fan myself constantly because Damn, these men had some filthy filthy minds. And there were a LOT of scenes to showcase that(which I more than appreciated :D).

Emotionally however, I felt there was more telling than showing when it came to the three of them as a unit. Between Colt & Joaquin I believed the emotional connection, but when Warwick was brought into the picture, I didn't really feel it. It might probably have to do with how emotionally unavailable Warwick was for majority of the book versus how we got to see Colt & Joaquin actually form an emotional bond outside the bedroom.

Any which way, these three were undeniably sweet together so even though emotionally I couldn't feel the connection, I knew they had it in them to make it more real.

Unfortunately, this was the last book in the Rebel Sky Ranch series and although I'm sad to see these men go, I'm excited to see what the novella and the spin-off would bring. Knowing Kelly Fox, it would definitely be great!

We’ve spent three books anticipating this story. With the heartbreaking reveal about Warwick in the last one, this one was bound to be a tear jerker. With a voracious sexual appetite, it’s obvious Warwick is using that as a way to put away the pain of his past. I love that we came into this with Joaquin and Colt’s feelings established, and that we got to see their relationship on their own just the two of them. I loved watching them pull in the very reluctant Warwick. It was all very sweet, very very steamy, and a little bit teary. I loved revisiting so many other characters from Kelly’s previous books. I’m really looking forward to the next projects highlighted at the end of the book!

For the poly leery friends, this is an MMM with very sex positive characters who have all had sex with each other (and in some cases continue to after they establish relationships). There is also some jealousy. It doesn’t bother me, I love poly books full of sex, but I know for some other readers they might like the heads up.

Can’t wait for the next series and novellas coming up.

Everyone loves Warwick so let’s trick him in loving us too. Why? The book namesake is an emotionally cold man-child. I honestly did not care his reasons for playing on other’s emotions… just that he didn’t care enough to stop. Joaquin didn’t behave like a mature “boss” just a horny one. Colt deserved better than these 2…way to play on his insecurities…. He’s almost fetishized…because he has a belly… and is squishy? Was there one scene with him where his size was not emphasized? But hey, Warwick is good looking and emotionally unattainable so it’s all about him.

A lot of heat, not enough depth. I really didn’t like it as much as I had anticipated. I like my couples and throuples to have a lot of storyline and chemistry. This just had a lot of sex. Which I love, If the story has enough depth as well. I didn’t really connect with any of the characters. Everything happened fast or got glanced over. There was no real relationship building.

They also talked so much about one of them having a bigger belly that they loved it got a bit over the top. I also didn’t like them not being monogamous to their throuple. But this was only revealed in the last chapter. I wish the author left this out because it adds nothing. It says they want to have sex with women because they are ‘multi’ sexual’.

I’m glad this series is over; I’m sick of reading about Renee Goodnight and whatever it is about her that seems to make every bisexual male within a 40 mile radius lose his mind.
This was OK, but there was way too much sex. To the point where you’re thinking ‘oh hell, they’re at it again’. I never thought I’d say this, but I skipped the last sex scene- I just couldn’t be doing with any more. And I sympathise with other reviewers who got fed up with all the crying. Because there’s a LOT of crying.
Warwick is better than Navarro, but that wouldn’t be difficult. 2 stars for this one, because it’s better than Navarro and I couldn’t give Navarro 0.
Hopefully the next series will be more like the Wrecked Guardians series, which was very good, and less like this one.

DNF. So I am so damn pissed off right now 😂. This author managed to ruined this whole universe for me in one single page.

If a couple is into open relationships (like Wyatt and Renee) it’s their business. But this author has presented us the couples from all the books as closed relationships. Even with this MMM you could see the jealousy in sharing with extra people.

And now, after everything you introduce that Roly and Heath from Wrecked series are open? Plus made them go in a 5thway with these guys on an extra. I’m sorry but that’s just a nope from me.

Not only I dropped the book but won’t be reading anything from the author anymore 🤷🏽‍♀️.

So, so good. I love these characters, and reading about Wick, and why he is always so sad. The menage trio compliment each other perfectly. *chef’s kiss*

KU

+ Warwick bonus scene
A lovely dirty scene with featured trio (Joaquin, Wick, Cole) with Rolly and his delightful bear of a husband.

I'm not a fan of MMM, but I gave it a shot.

🎄I liked Colt from the previous book and I was hoping he'd get a HEA with Warwick.🎄

I didn't like Joaquin, I mean I liked him as a side character, but not the main. So I wasn't a fan of him coming into the picture.

DNF at about 35%, I just didn't feel it.

I will preface this by saying i don’t usually go for poly books - they just aren’t my bread and butter, but i have read a few i liked. The poly aspect wasn’t great for me, but that wasn’t even my biggest gripe with this book.

The issue i have with the whole serious is just a bigger plot point in the last two book. I DNFed the 3rd book for various reasons, so i didn’t know going into this book that because of Warwick we would have other Renee and Wyatt heavy book. I wasn’t even going to read it but Audible AGGRESSIVELY marketed this book to me and i finally caved. The issue i have with these two is that the entire series is suppose to praise these two as modern day, sex positive saints, but all i saw in four books were two predators.

These two were supposedly nice people who cared for the ranch family, and had such a strong relationship they brought in outside partners for sex. The fact that i haven’t seen anyone else pick up on though, is that every. Single. Partner. They bring in is a young, abused, vulnerable person, and all of them are dismissed like trash afterwards.

1) Justin Jennings was an early 20s, closeted and abused guy who was still deeply entrenched with his homophobic and abusive family.
2) Warwick was in his early 20s as well, he was abused so bad throughout his childhood that he had to have facial recognition surgery, and he has been taking care of his addict brother. They brought him in on a whim and the night he caught feeling he was dismissed the very next day. At the time Renee and Wyatt were not only his employers but his only support network, probably the first he had ever had in his life.

When i tell you there people were selfish, reckless predators, i fucking mean it. When you decide to play outside of a relationship, or even within a relationship, you have a responsibility to make sure you are being responsible with who you bring in, i.e. not the vulnerable, abused, and only a few years past legal youth of your town.

The first two books were good, with just a little ick factor, but book 3 was fucking disgusting. On top of the predator thing, you had Wyatt being the biggest fucking asshole when everyone has sworn up and down he’s a good guy, yet he treats everyone like shit….
And now, we have book four which i thought would redeem the series, but has not. While i feel for Wick and everything he’s been through, he is being a hypocritical prick about his jealousy, and the continued Renee worship is even more gross than it already was. And as i said before, i think the poly thing wasn’t as well researched/thought out as it should have been, way too much gossip, and not enough communication.

All i can say is, thank god this series is over.

Beautiful polyam story about grieving, healing and finding love again!

Kelly has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this series. Every book has been so dang good! I love that the piece that has connected these books, and these men, is their love for an amazing woman and the grief over her loss. The main characters of each book had their own special relationship with Renée and feel her loss in different ways. After 3 years it’s finally time for Warwick to process his grief in a healthy way and allow himself to love again. I cried my eyes out reading the first chapter, but things got (mostly) lighter from there as Warwick and his men found their way to each other.

I’m so glad this is a polyamorous romance. The relationships between Joaquin, Colt and Warwick felt authentic. They’re all very different men, but they make so much sense together. These men adore and cherish and love each other. They also have open communication and remain true to who they are. This book is incredibly hot and steamy - like, holy heck!!! - but there’s so much emotional depth between Joaquin, Colt and Warwick every time they are together, even before they start to understand their feelings for each other.

And Joaquin and Colt are diabolical! I loved seeing their friendship and relationship blossom on page. They know how stubborn Warwick can be, so they focus on dating each other and falling in love while Warwick gets himself together. It was such a fun mix of silly antics, sweet moments, and raw emotions. These guys just let love do its thing and guide their relationship and it was really beautiful.

I loved all three guys, but my favorite was Colt. What a sweetheart! He’s a bigger guy with a thicc bum and I loved how much Warwick and Joaquin worship his body. They don’t even give him a second to feel self conscious about his big yummy body.

This series has been so positive and affirming in many different ways. I love how Kelly strives to write with a broad range of inclusivity and representation so that readers can find something or someone to connect with and relate to. Something about each of Kelly’s books speaks to my soul. This is my favorite series so far and I can’t wait to see what Kelly writes next.

Amazing conclusion to the series!

Perpetual bachelor Warwick and his recurring hook-up Colt have a new foreman at Rebel Sky Ranch, and he’s none other than Joaquin, another of Warwick’s regular hook-ups. Colt and Joaquin have both caught feelings for Warwick and decide to date each other to tempt relationship-averse Warwick to be with them.

Warwick has a lot to work through emotionally before he can open himself up to the possibility of a poly relationship with Colt and Joaquin. I loved seeing Colt and Joaquin date and fall for each other as they wait for Warwick to have his emotional breakthrough. They were so sweet together! Colt is a bigger guy, and it was wonderful to see how much Warwick and Joaquin enjoyed his body. I appreciated how often Kelly reminded us how big his ass is! It was very affirming and body-positive.

I love that Kelly has created this whole series about a group of men that all loved the same woman in different ways. Her son, her best friend, her brother, her husband, and the ex-lover and friend that had quietly loved her for twenty years. Loving Renee and mourning her passing has linked all of these men, and the men who love them, into a family. They have worked so hard to make her dream for Rebel Sky Ranch a reality and her presence seems to be felt in every corner of the ranch property.

This series has been such an emotional journey! As much as I loved her Wrecked Guardians series, I think this is my absolute favorite Kelly Fox series - at least so far! Each of these books has been a roller coaster ride of humor, grief, swoony romance, and a lot of steamy times and love. I’ve given all the books in the series five stars and I’m looking forward to comfort-rereading this whole series in the future.

This is the book in which Wick finally gets his happy ending, even though Colt and Joaquin have to collude to convince him they’re all in, and he just has to open himself up to it.
And, in which ALL of the spicy sex is had, in the tack room and other spots around the ranch.

I loved it, clearly. So fun, and hopeful, and joyful, once you get past the tears that first chapter induces. What a lovely wrap up of the Rebel Sky Ranch series.

Much of the falling for each other individually happens off page through other character’s observation in previous installments of the series, and I appreciated that, because it makes space to show Colt and Joaquin falling for each other, for Wick’s realizations, and for showing all three falling in love together. It’s portrayed here so beautifully. The depth of feeling that Kelly evokes with her writing, along with the wit and charm with which she tells a story, makes reading this absolutely worth your time.

FYI: this is the fourth in a series, so if you’re new to Kelly’s books, I highly encourage you to read the others in this series first. The background knowledge will make the story even more enjoyable, and you’ll understand who-all has slept with whom😉

I'm very vocal about my love of Kelly's books. This is her best work yet.

Joaquin, Warwick, and especially Colt stole my heart. Their story is low-mid angst but it's written with so much humor it feels like fluff.

I've been complaining a lot in my reviews lately about how there's always more spice than I was expecting. And while spice is good, spice for the sake of spice isn't. This is Kelly's spiciest book yet. However, she writes her sex scenes in a way that builds upon the story. Every single interaction was a building block in the relationship.

This series is so special and I'm super sad to say goodbye to Rebel Sky. This book was one hell of a farewell.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I'm so sad this series is over, but the good news is another spinoff is on the way.

As I read Warwick, I cussed her, middle-named her, swooned over the sweetness that is Joaquin, Colt, and Warwick finding their way to each other, and cheered over their ultimate HEA. You could read this book as a standalone, but it would lose a great deal of its impact, because the supporting cast enriches this story and gives it depth that comes with feeling like you're visiting friends.

I'm glad that at least three more of that cast are getting their own stories. This book is high-heat, sprinkled liberally with laughter and tears. Highly recommend.

Our author Kelly Fox has written her first MMM book, and it is extremely well done. We are finishing up the series which I have enjoyed so much. We have met these men in this series.
Wyatt's wife Renee was a truly loved woman, by many people in her life. Warwick was involved in some threesomes with the couple, Wyatt and Renee, many years before, but emotions were forming, and so they had to stop.
Warwick, 40s, on cover, has facial scars hidden

under his beard, which were from his father's abuse as a child. He's out of the Marines and works with animals on the Rebel Sky Ranch for some time.
Colt, 28, a big guy, ginger blonde with a beard,

a "bear cub" has a scarred body from the rodeo, and was Luke's assistant on the road. He's tall, strong, blue-eyed, and very cuddly. His sister is fighting sobriety.
Joaquin, nearing 50, is strong and lean, he's Sparrow's

father, who has come to be the foreman at the ranch. He's black and silver haired, wears turquoise jewelry and speaks Spanish, too.

To begin, we see the men at a reception for the men who ran off and got married, Desi and Wyatt, plus Sparrow and Luke. Colt and Warwick hook-up, both are in love but do not tell each other.

When Joaquin comes to work the ranch all three men are attracted, and it's fun to see what will happen. Joaquin and Warwick hook-up like old times and then they all try to act professional, and think they can handle this, but mother nature has something else in mind. Can they leave each other alone when the feeling are so strong?

The three men have a spectacular night with hot passion, intense emotions and extreme pleasure. When Warwick pulls away, Joaquin and Colt continue their sexy times, which ticks off Warwick, and we get his inner turmoil.

We are told of Warwick's child abuse he suffered and how deeply losing Renee affected him.
We get all of our men's thoughts and desires, and the three need to get it together so they can be happy in their lives, and become the throuple they all want to be.

It's a fun challenge, and the deep feelings and hot sexiness are palpable. We like each man for different reasons, and each man brings wonderful passion to their combination.

The epilogue is marvelous.
ENJOY !

Be still, my little poly heart…

I can’t even begin to describe how sick of poly books I’ve been for a long while now. Either they feel forced, weird, like someone’s weird fetish, or something equally awful, and there wasn’t much in between for a long while. It kind of makes you want to rage when you see someone screw up a poly story, because it’s not like folx are super accepting and understanding these days, even if things are getting better with time.

This book got it. Even with the beginning of the relationships/relationship being hella rocky, the build was beautifully written. The struggle didn’t seem forced or faked or like someone decided that they’d make their own little porn. It felt like three people finding their way to each other and setting up the kind of partnership most people could only dream about.

And I still hold firm that these books are just extremely romantic smut with a really good plot. F I T E M E. 💅🏽

The mechanics in this one were good, but there was a distinct lack of commas in places there should’ve been and the pacing got a bit wonky after 75-ish percent. It wasn’t bad, and it didn’t ruin anything, but I’m assuming that trying to keep all of the books around the same length made cramming a little bit of a thing there in the end.

4.25/5, I loved this series. I need to read the one that came before this one still, but I kinda feel like my time would be better spent forging ahead before falling back. Maybe I’m wrong, but I reckon I’ll figure it out as I start the next series. I’m sad to see the end of the Rebel Sky family, but excited for the beginning of the next set of HEAs.😌🙏🏽

PS—I love how each book gave Renée space to be a huge part of the story without feeling like her memory was a burden or needlessly thrown in. I think it added to the whole series in a meaningful and special way. Very much a fan of her being included in seeing her vision for RSR come to fruition even though she couldn’t be there. She didn’t deserve to be an empty aside, and she definitely wasn’t.

I can't even give this book two stars. The first two of the series were sweet, romantic, and well set, while the third was a bit messy with who's slept with who it was still fine and focused on the actual pairing. This last one was just awful. First of all, they did bully him into a relationship. If someone tells you no, the answer is no. Second of all, what's the purpose of mentioning all the people they've slept with in detail? It's not at all necessary and takes away from the characters. Not only that, but why does the only poly relationship need to be made up of the series unmatched one and dones? Third, a plus sized character does not need to always be described by their belly or ass. If you want actual poly relationships, try just about anything else out there.

Wow, what an emotional ending to this series. I loved the three main characters, they fit so well together and oh honey they are hot together. They all brought together different elements to the table and they just make sense. Warwick really takes you by surprise because we see him as a funny character who loves sex. But really he is a sensitive man who cares so much but is very afraid of being hurt again by others. When he is ready to be loved by these two amazing men it is beautiful. The ending of this book had me in my feelings let me tell you. Reading about this family and where they are is just something special and I was just in a bit of tears. A great way to end a great series.

I think the grief of someone you loved, especially when you begin to grieve what it could’ve been before before their passing was shown beautifully. This was my first book with a MMM relationship and I didn’t know quite what to expect. I love the body and age positivity and how naturally it was shown.

I only had to take a ⭐️ away for how much the author assumed one would know from ALL their works (yes, not just this series) for 1/4th of the book was talking about like 12 characters in passing who i had no history or understanding of. If a book is advertised as standalone, I wish the author abides by it too.

If you’ve read this far in the Rebel Sky Ranch series (which you should, because all the books are fantastic), you should know by now that you’re not getting out of here without shedding a few tears. In this book, Fox slams us with them from the very first chapter. Be assured that the rest of the novel is significantly lighter, but this flashback introduction is completely necessary context and well worth the emotional gut punch.

Overall, this book can be summed up the way I described it on Twitter:

“In which Warwick discovers his emotions and wants a refund, but Colt and Joaquin don’t have a return policy.”

Sometimes the emotions are angsty, and sometimes they are heartwarming. Mostly, Wick is kind of an idiot, and I absolutely adore him. Despite his obliviousness, his different relationships with Colt and Joaquin have been good for him. However, things get understandably complicated when all three of them now both work and live in the same close quarters. There is nothing conventional about the relationship arc that develops between these three characters, and though Fox doesn’t stint on the sexy bits, the emotional bonds that form between the men are just as important as the physical. I especially enjoyed Colt’s self-awareness of his wants, needs, and insecurities as much as I loved the counterpoint of Warwick’s complete lack of the same. Joaquin’s maturity balances both of the other men well, but he is just as much of a three-dimensional character as the others and not without his own depth.

An intense moment of external tension does occur in the latter part of this book, but overall, there is no single relationship dark moment between these three men. Instead, the story is interspersed with opportunities for them to grow closer and better understand the possibilities and depths of their relationship, both as three and as individual couples within.

Fox reminds us that this series is part of a larger universe by providing us with some cameos from previous series, both subtly and as more important secondary characters. It’s not necessary to have read the earlier books to understand what’s going on, but I love having that extra context that always creates a deeper and more intricate world.

I never thought I’d love a cowboy romance series as much as I love this one. I’ve already reread the previous books in this series multiple times, and I’m sure I’ll be spending more time with Warwick, Colt, and Joaquin in the future.

“A triangle is the strongest shape in nature.” ~ unknown

After losing Renee, the ‘matriarch’ of Rebel Sky Ranch, Warwick swore he would never love anyone again. For years, he has held to that promise. Then why does Warwick have feelings for two men at once? And why does he feel so threatened by it?

After Wyatt, owner of Rebel Sky Ranch, has retired, he hires Joaquin as Foreman. It’s a change from the ranch where he worked before with far more complications, namely one sexy distraction he should avoid – named Warwick. Their prior relationship was sizzling, but now that he is Warwick’s boss, he feels it’s best to keep things professional. Yet, Joaquin has no idea how he will do that, especially when Warwick has other ideas. It doesn’t take long before their proximity forces an explosive sexual encounter; Joaquin wonders why he even imagined he could resist Warwick. If he is so attached to Wyatt, why is he finding Warwick’s sometimes-lover, Colt, so adorable and sexy?

One fateful night, Warwick, Joaquin, and Colt have sex together. This encounter sets them on a path none of them could ever have imagined. Warwick is thrilled to have Joaquin so “close at hand” and begins to imagine all the fun they can get up to. He is disappointed when Joaquin tells him it is best if they stop having sex. When Joaquin can’t keep away from him, he is pleased. What complicates matters is that their association upsets Colt, who has feelings for Warwick but knows it’s a hopeless cause; that Warwick will never return them. Warwick sees that Colt is sad but doesn’t know why.

'Warwick' was a thought-provoking read for me. Multiple partner tales usually don't appeal to me, but I was impressed by the amount of emotion immersed in the sexual content in this story. It added depth which I appreciated. Also, I found it satisfying to see that Warwick had met his match, or matches as is the case. Thanks, Kelly, for another visit to Rebel Sky Ranch.

Silver linings

Kelly Fox’s writing is dangerous, dangerous to your heart, your mind, your emotions, and it’s a danger you’ll run to again and again. Woah, how do I talk about my feelings for Warwick, Colt and Joaquin. Also, I’d like to lay claim to Colt, here and now as I really love him and need a daily hug from that baby bear for the rest of my life.

All the squishiest squishes to ever squish for these three. What I enjoy the most about poly books is that there’s no one size fits all. Well…the way these three fit is mmmm, but I digress. What makes it so beautiful, so perfect is how they find a way that meshes for them, that makes sense for them, and that works for them. And Colt, Joaquin and Warwick will absolutely blow you away. Holy smokes, do they have chemistry. Like burn the world to ash and make it rise again chemistry. And I love how Joaquin and Colt team up to show Warwick’s and his heart how much they belong to and with each other. They can co-conspire any day with me.

“I need you both more than I could have ever imagined, and it’s the best thing in the world.” Oh the emotions and feels: you’ll cry buckets, you’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, you’ll yell—mostly at Warwick to get out of his own way but then you’ll forgive him anything because he’s that special—and you’ll fall so deeply in love with Colt and his sunshine, Joaquin and his caring, and Warwick just because he is, you won’t ever want to find your way back. Rebel Sky Ranch, these people, this series is something so fantastically amazing, so stunningly joyful, you’ll treasure every moment your heart has with them and you’ll know, without a doubt, you’ve found your home.
