A fun adventure that sees Alkibiades become the chosen warrior in a fight against all kinds of monsters.
Join in the adventure as we find out how he became the Chosen One, as well as how and where he learnt the many skills that turned him into a kickass fighter. The book takes us from Greece to Japan, with stops in between, and the monsters are a collection of mythologies greatest beasts.
It reminded me a bit of the Underworld movies.

We need more books in this series.
This book is a brilliant fantasy novel. It combines mythology, gladiatorial skills, action and adventure, along with the elements of growing up and finding your feet in the world i.e. facing challenges, jealousy, emotions etc. The way the novel has been written it has scope to explore all areas of ancient mythology and could become an epic series.
The book starts off with a young boy named Alkibiades who has been chosen from a young age to attend training at a temple which is part of a wider Order.
This is very much an origins story, with our hero having to learn the skills he will need in later life. I look forward to the next book in what is sure to become a favourite series of mine.

A fantasy adventure with a twist. Join in the adventures and exploits of Alkibiades as he meets his destiny head on and becomes the Queller of Demons. He wasn't born great, he had greatness thrust upon him, and he has to train hard if he wants to fulfil his potential.

Chris has expanded his range in writing.
It is not my kind of book to read but I enjoyed it anyway.

Ok
This story has elements of world history, Greek mythology, the wild west, and Gladiator throughout. A humble, poor boy becomes the chosen one and must learn all the skills of every culture to fight the powers and creatures of evil. Marcus should not have died.
