Caught Up is a small town new adult romance series. Each of the six books focus on a different couple but has an overlapping storyline with recurring characters. They are best enjoyed in order.
"I set the limits and make the rules. Her job is to follow them. Suddenly she's trying to change the game. She has no idea who she's playing with..."
Maverick Dempsey's life is just the way he wants it. Football, girls, parties, and his brothers. All is right in his world. All that comes to a screeching halt when a girl with the caramel streaked hair crashes lands in his life, turning everything upside down.
Avery Adams is the new girl. She transferred to RSU to finish college with her step-sister and best friend. Ending up with a football player dragging her around like she's his new favorite pet wasn't part of her plan.
This is fourth book in the Caught Up Series. These books should be read in order.
Due to sexual content and language - 17+ recommended.
Colee Firman has always been a closet writer. As an only child, there were stories constantly swimming around in her head. In 2012, she finally started unleashing them on the world, beginning with The Unbinding Fate Series.
As a Michigan native, she never passes up a chance to escape the winter weather. When she's not working at her day job or writing, she's traveling with her husband, reading with her fur babies, or binging her favorite shows.
This is book 4 in A Caught Up Novel series. This is about Maverick and Avery, who are essentially unknowns. He’s one of the brothers but he wasn’t heard from very much in previous books. Vince and Finn are the remaining brothers so hopefully we’ll get their stories as the final ones.
Maverick doesn’t seem to believe in relationships. Avery is adorable and becomes a friend since they live in apartments across the hall. Proximity is everything!
He plays football and is really good, but has no desire to be drafted into the pros. Avery wants to be a teacher, which she loves. Shelby is her stepsister and BFF, and they go to college and live together.
A number of things happen, not the least of which is a SA of Shelby. Obviously that causes her to retreat into herself and it makes Avery feel that she needs to put her stepsister first. It does cause some problems with Maverick…
I liked this one but this series still needs a serious editor who can actually fix the numerous problems in these books. The quality would be so much higher if this author would just get her work edited!
