⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
The tension and sweetness from Part One come to full, satisfying fruition in this beautifully emotional conclusion. From the first chapter (which literally starts with a bang), this book delivers the heat, heart, and HEA I was hoping for. Amy is still her funny, lovable, independent self, but she’s allowed to grow here in really meaningful ways. Her journey from “I don’t need anyone” to realizing the beauty of chosen family felt honest and heartfelt. And her pack? Absolute cinnamon roll perfection.
Zach continues to be my favorite (his anxiety is so well-written and relatable), but I also loved the layers that emerged for the rest of the pack—Kaito, especially, really opened up in this one. The slow build in Part One makes the payoff here so much more impactful. There’s more steam, but it’s always grounded in emotional connection, which makes it even better. Plus, the humor never fades—this book balances fluffy feels with some truly laugh-out-loud moments.
I especially appreciated how the story handled Amy’s grief over her parents—touching and realistic, while giving space for readers who might need to skim through those parts. And her confrontation with her shady bosses? So satisfying. The extended epilogue gave me everything I wanted and more—domestic fluff, growth, and a future I fully believe in.
This duet is a treat for readers who love emotional development, pack dynamics that feel earned, and omega heroines who are allowed to be both strong and soft. I’m already hoping we get a spin-off for Pack Carmichael! Until then, this ending left me totally gooey and grinning.
