Overall, it took roughly six months to read all of these books to my son. I'll leave comments looking at the book from two angles.
1.) From a "read it to a kid" perspective, these books were fine. They were interesting, light mysteries, with series aspects and all the tropes. He really enjoyed figuring out the mystery, casting off bad clues, etc... He learned a lot about the genre.
2.) From a "I read a lot of books" perspective these were really sloppy. Bad grammar. A lot of strangely structured endings. Unrealistic situations.
Joe and his sisters, Amy and Sarah are on holiday in a small coastal village when they meet Will. Adventures abound for them. Can they help the police to stop various criminals? An exciting set of stories for children of any age to read, especially fan of Enid Blyton' Famous Five.
These ten stories were full of mystery and, excitement. It was amazing to read about these four children who were able to solve the mystery the mysteries.
