It’s hard to keep an accidental marriage a secret when you end up pregnant.
Yes, we were stupid in Vegas. But the stupidity didn’t just end there. It continued after the trip was over and Luke became my temporary roommate.
Luke… as in my brother’s best friend. As in my new husband. My accidental husband. Did I say baby daddy yet?
Luke is way older than me. Basically, he’s everything he shouldn’t be. And I’m everything I shouldn’t be either — for example, pregnant. Luke might be the man of my dreams. But not every dream comes true. Especially if it’s packaged with an accidental ring and an accidental baby.
Deliciously sinful, kindle melting hot, full-length, standalone marriage mistake romance. The hea comes packaged with heart pounding feels, off-the-charts heat, loads of emotion and lots of fun!

Their journey was a slow building slow burn beautiful romance that was emotional, heartfelt and a bit forbidden. I enjoyed reading The Vegas Accident(Forbidden Temptations)!!! All about Imogene Campbell a twenty-five year old Baker who owns her own Bakery & Luke McNally a thirty-eight year old Park Ranger. Imogene is a bridesmaid & Luke is the Best-man in her brothers wedding, they don’t see eye to eye very often and are more like oil & vinegar together. However what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, except if you get hitched, because it’s legal & there are consequences!!! Like waking in the morning in your nemesis’s bed and both of you saying what the hell happened!!! Imogene did the walk of shame back to her room to find a plastic bag filled with pictures of the nuptials and a very legal wedding license!! Read about Imogene & Luke and the wild ride they are tied to while both parties are living in different states!! This story captures your attention on page one and doesn’t let go until the very end!!! Every single emotion known to man can be found through out, including lots of toe curling action as well!! It was a great story and I can’t wait to read the next book all about Clair her former head baker turned physical therapist & her new adventure with football players!!!
Imogene is the little sister to, his best friend, Andrew. Andrew is marrying, his longtime girlfriend, Cricket, and doing a week-long event, in Vegas. Both, Luke and Andrew are fourteen years older than, Imogene. So, Luke’s interaction with, Imogen before, Vegas has been limited. While in, Vegas, the group is going to see, a hockey game. Imogene was just not interested in seeing a hockey game. So, she goes around playing, one-arm bandits. When she hears a laugh, she’s heard her whole life, and it belongs, to Luke. Which can’t be, since he is her brother’s, best friend, best man, and more like a true sibling than, she is. When she follows the laughter, she finds him at a poker table. He’s looking as handsome, relaxed, and without a care in the world, as always. When she approaches he just smiles and stares. She asks, why the best man is not at the hockey game. He says, he is also, Andrew’s best friend, and doesn't need to be with, Andrew, twenty-four-seven. She helps his gambling efforts, but only with advice. Helping win a huge amount. He takes her to dinner, to celebrate. It's the next morning, when they wake together, that he utters the words that shake her to, her core. Now, months later, he comes back to their hometown after, accomplishing a lifelong goal, in the hiking world. And to and insult to injury, her family, is fawning all over him. Which gets her heckles up. Intentions and reality become confused and hearts become tangled. Family starts to question and confusion plays a part in misspoken words, misleading intentions, and never telling your deep loving secrets. This story I won’t lie does drag in many spots but if you hang with it you will be so glad you did. The characters are real, with flaws that show their hurts, and true pains. Yet, they share the loves, and joys of family, and friends. And also, how sometimes family is who we choose, and sometimes, how they choose us.
A combination wedding / last hurrah weekend, the sexiness of your brothers best friend, and watching him winning 25k what could go wrong? How about waking up after a night of foolishness, drinking, good food and champagne, plus a lot of debauchery with said brothers best friend whom you have known forever for him to tell you it was a mistake? Then you realize the fake wedding you had was real, but he’s off to walk the Appalachian Trail for the next few months and you have to sit with this knowledge!! Sophia gives us all the goodness with Imogene and Luke. Imogene has spent months trying to make the pain of Luke’s rejection and the marriage disappear, but things are about to get interesting. They are so right for each other, but the forbidden aspect of their relationship keeps their time spent behind closed doors. When he finally comes home after his trek and learns he’s married to his best friend little sister he is torn but inwardly excited. The fact that her brother offers her spare room to him gives them time for exploration. The more time they spend together, the more they both realize they don’t want things to end. Luke never expected to feel this way about anyone. He’s not destined to get the wife, kids, house, and a happy ever after, but every day in domestic bliss with Imogene, that’s all he can think and dream about. Their HEA is well deserved, but I love that they both have realizations of what part love and the fact they are perfect for each other really played along the way.

This age gap story starts out in Vegas where Imogene, a bakery owner and her brothers best friend, Luke get drunk after he has some successful wins at the poker table. They are there to attend Imogene's brother's bachelor and his fiancée, Cricket's bachelorette party. They decide to get married on a lark but Luke says to Imogen it was all a mistake the next morning and they part ways for several months. They are thrown back together when Andrew, Imogene's brother volunteers her house as a place for Luke to stay temporarily while he is back visiting. While Luke is staying there, Imogene tells him that their marriage was actually legal and that they can apply for a divorce in a few months time. What I don't understand is that Imogene actually goes out with another guy, Dennis while she is still married to Luke. Which is infidelity as she is aware she is legally married to Luke. Secondly, for someone professing to be a church goer, she did a lot of swearing and using of the Lord's name in vain which was highly inappropriate. I found Luke to be a weak character and spent a lot of time lying. One thing leads to another with a friends with benefits arrangement starting up between them. Will these two characters continue to stay together or will they part ways? The story itself was interesting enough and the book was well written, though the story dragged on a bit and could have been shortened.
This a quick and easy read the characters where perfect for each other but just have to figure that out for themselves. Imogene is a cake maker and has big dreams but hooking up with her brothers best friend in Vegas was not part of it but he is very sexy and she has always had a huge crush on him so it’s ticked of her bucket list but waking up the next morning married was not what either of them wanted and Luke told her is was all a mistake. Luke is a professional tour guide and hiker and travels everywhere to go hiking and is set to go hike the Appalachian trail but before he goes he spends a wild and amazing night with his best friend sister Imogene and now he not sure how to act and has said the wrong thing that upsets her but she covers it up but he already seen it the hurt he caused. Now Likes back home from his trip his best friend Andrew offered his sister bungalow for him to stay at and now living together they find it hard to keep there hands to themselves after all they are married and then Imogene finds out she is pregnant. What happens next between these two is my secret but if you want to know get this great book to find out.

*** 3 1/2 Stars*** The Vegas Accident is the twelfth book in the Forbidden Temptations series. This is the first book I have read in this series but I have read a couple other books by the author, so I had an idea of what to expect. The story is an older man/younger woman with the addition forbidden temptation of he is her brother's best friend. But add in one night in Las Vegas at the end of her brother and his bride to be bachelor and bachelorette party weekends. When things don't stay in Vegas though that is when you get some sizzling good times and some naughty fun. I liked the story but found it to be overly long and slow at times. I really liked Imogene, a young woman with more than a little fire and determination. I also found Luke to be a layabout, not a real Alpha like I prefer. For me this ended up being a book that I skimmed parts and found myself wanting to kick Luke in the butt more than a few times. There is nothing inherently bad or wrong with this story it just did not hit the high points and dragged at times for me.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own and I know that other readers will love this book.
The Vegas Accident, or mistake as Luke calls it, is Imogene and Luke's story. It is filled with lust, attraction, lots of steamy moments especially as they play house together, along with romance and Love. We've met the characters before and it was a story with a lot of layers and quite a few twists and turns in its storytelling. She's a baker and owns a bakery with her best friend and it was nice to see how their lives and those of others shape up.
I liked Luke and Imogene's relationship even if it was kept a secret especially since he's her brother's best friend and a lot older than her. The story is told in alternating chapters by each of the main characters and I sometimes had to go back and see whose story it was. There's a depth to Luke and we get to know some details in his past that have shaped his present and how he approaches life. The epilogue ties up the loose ends nicely and gives a great happily ever after. The cover definitely suits the story with Luke looking very rugged which fits his job and career path.
Ms. Summers is an authors whose romances suck me in even if she sometimes takes me out of my comfort zone given the steaminess of her stories.

She goes home where she gets proof that the wedding was real and Luke is not around he went off on the Appalachian Trail for the next few months. When he gets home Imogene's brother volunteers her spare room for him to use and that's when they truly began. You really need to read this heartfelt forbidden romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This was one that didn't stay in Vegas. When Imogene and Luke skip out on the bridal and groom men's duties, they end up in the casino. She's there for drinks and Luke is playing poker. When Imogene turns out to be his good luck charm. He wins in more ways than one. When Luke leaves for six month Imogene returns home only to find out that their marriage is real and the hurt and angry followed her home. Life continues and Luke returns only to be treated like the golden child. When her brother offers her spare room to Luke this is when the story really gets good. He's in for a surprise as well as a shock when Imogene tells him about their marriage and her boyfriend. You'her ll fall is love with this book as Imogene grows a backbone and Luke discovery that what he's been looking for is right in front of him.

Their Love Was Always Meant To Be - It was supposed to be ‘what ever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for Luke and Imogene. It just so happens that what they thought was a fun-filled night of letting loose, was actually the start of a rollercoaster ride, that could lead to a life of forever happiness. Their chemistry was undeniable, but they had to use subterfuge to ensure they were not discovered. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, ‘secrets never stay hidden forever’.
I really loved reading this gripping story, that I started reading once I woke up this morning and I was hooked on the story until I reached the end a few hours later. Reading this book was really pleasurable experience, so just make sure you have the time to read it all in one go, because you won't want to put it down, once you start reading it.

One night in Vegas, a lot of drinking and the next morning Imogene is married to her brother's best friend, the first thing he says is this is a mistake. Hurt she avoids him at her brother's wedding and does not see him for a few months, he is hiking thru the mountains.
Luke does not understand why Imogene is so cold to him, her brother offers up her spare bedroom to him. She drops the bomb on him, when they are finally alone at her house, they were really married in Vegas months ago.
Once she sheds herself of her boyfriend, the two become friends with benefits, while keeping it secret from her family. How long is before someone can end up hurt by the situation? What will her brother do when he finds out his best friend has been sleeping with his sister? Will Luke want to go off on another adventure?
I really liked this book, both Imogene and Luke were really suited for each other.

In this book we meet Imogene Campbell & Luke McNally. When this book opens we find that while in Vegas for Imogene's brother and Luke's best friends wedding they find themselves getting married. The thing is come the next day Luke calls the whole thing a mistake not really remembering they got married. Now 6 months later he is back from his hike that he went on only to find the one woman he can't forget doesn't even want to be around him. Imogene can't believe he doesn't remember she didn't think he was that drunk. When her brother offers up her house to stay in while he is in town she can't believe how unlucky she has become. Can these two find a HEA or is there water under the bridge just to much to overcome?
Another amazing hit by this author. The push and pull of this story will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Imogene & Luke's story is full of flirty banter, sexy scenes, anger, make ups and family. Luke has been Imogene's brothers best friend for as long as Imogene can remember and she has been in love with him every since she knew what love was. But he was older and off limits. Until Vegas. They went to Vegas for the bachelor/bachelorette weekend for her brother and his fiance. But when Imogene & Luke are the only ones who stayed at the hotel they end up getting very drunk and very married. But they thought it was all in fun until the marriage certificate arrives. But by then Luke is somewhere on the Appalachian trail on his quest to hike from one end to the other. So imagine his surprise when he returns to find his wife Imogene angry with him.

Luke is best friends with Imogen's brother. They end up drinking and celebrating too hard and too much and while in Vegas they end up married. When they wake up the next morning they both don't think they are really married and Luke goes on a 6 month hike and Imogen goes home. She finds that the wedding was real and she's hurt that Luke said that it was a mistake. Imogen also finds out that she's pregnant and there is no way to tell Luke. What a complicated mess. When Luke comes home he can't understand why Imogen is so mad at him. They become friends with benefits but keep it a secret from her family. What's going to happen when Imogen's brother finds out they are sleeping together and that she's pregnant with Luke's baby? Great story.

While reading this story I just thought time and again - am I not further into this story than these meager percentages? And when I was about half in I started speed reading the rest and probably only read like two whole chapters after that. I was just about to stop reading it - before the half way point. The story itself is not bad at all and the characters are well written. The storyline, however, is so slow, there is somehow nothing going on for chapters - yes in plural! Unfortunately this is my opinion and I have to be true to my feelings while reading this story. I really hope, though, that this author continuous to write as what I just read is promising despite its faults. So in the end I can give this story nice three stars.

Great book, I really enjoyed this book. It was great read, I loved the storyline, it was exciting and was a total page turner. I loved the characters Imogene and Luke, they both like each other but they both just don't know it. Only Imogene brother Andrew who is also Luke's best friend would go nuts if anything happened. They all go to vegas as its Andrew and his partners pre wedding parties, when Imogen spots luke at the bar so goes over to talk to him. They talk and realise they have things to celebrate. Only Vegas being Vegas things get out of hand and they end up married. It's a great read, full of life and emotions as they become close. Throw in an over protective brother and fireworks fly. Great book by Sofia again love her books. Highly recommend

A bridal shower has brought Imogene to Las Vegas but she’s surprised to see Luke, her brother’s BFF, on the casino floor. He gambles and wins big with Imogene as his good luck charm. They celebrate, get drunk and mistakenly get married. Have a fabulous time in bed but in the morning he tells Imogene that “it was a mistake.”
Returning home Luke is gone for six month hiking the Appalachian Trail with no contact with Imogene. She works building her Bakery with her BFF partner, never mentioning the marriage to anyone.
Once Luke returns, Imogene’s brother sets him up to temporarily stay in Imogene’s spare room unaware she is angry with Luke and just waiting for him to sign the divorce papers.
This was a good story of a mistake and a rocky path turning into a happy ending.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Imogene and Luke came to Las Vegas for a wedding but it was not supposed to be theirs. The night together was obvious but the marriage seemed unreal. The morning after is not pleasant because he is a jerk and then he is gone. Thanks to her brother, Imogene is stuck with him when he returns later on. Things come to a head and they will have to follow their heads or their hearts. They each have obstacles to get past to keep their marriage. The story has a wide range of emotions from attraction to anger. I liked Imogene but Luke had to grow on me some.

what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas
The Vegas Accident is book twelve in the series Forbidden Temptations by author Sofia T Summers. Ok so this book is my favorite out of all the books in this series and I haven’t even read book thirteen yet. But I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt this is my favorite tale. It’s all about learning to trust yourself and knowing what you deserve. The characters go on quite a journey as they try to navigate life- love and happiness. You’ll laugh, you might shed a tear but I know you be touched. Talk about being touched this one is spicy(wink). Sofia thank you for sharing your talent with us mere mortals. Enjoy!!

The good part? The suffering was through in one night because this is a quick read.
The bad part? Pretty much all of it.
I was not impressed in the slightest. Yes, it’s a trashy novel and I knew that when I downloaded it. What I did not know is that it is rife with clichés, has a truly predictable plot, and is burdened with lackluster narration. I was ready to throw my Kindle across the room at the umpteenth mention of Luke’s “crooked grin.” Too many indie authors use “crooked grin” and it denotes a true lack of creativity. I could go on, but I’ve already torn the book down enough.
It is a very rare thing for me to award one star to a book. Keep that in mind when deciding whether to read this or not.
The rating for this book is not meant to indicate anything other than the book just wasn’t to my preferences. I enjoy the author’s writing and storytelling style, I just didn’t connect with these characters.
I struggled with rooting for a nearly 40 year old male who admittedly had minimal ambition. Imogene, by comparison, was a go-getter despite her young age.
It was realistic for Imogene to have a strong crush on her brother’s best friend and their relationship was interesting. I just had an issue with Luke’s lack of drive and ambition, and willingness to work part-time jobs that he was overqualified for.
I really enjoyed reading, The Vegas Accident by Sofia T Summers because it was such a steamy book about Imogene and Luke. They accidentally got married in Vegas and didn't remember it. But as time went on, their "fake" relationship started to feel real to both, but each were scared to admit it. Each chapter was told in either Imogene's POV or Luke's. I loved their chemistry and the steam that they had for each other. I really wanted their relationship to work out for the both of them. I would highly recommend this book. It was full of steam and drama and it was such a great story to read.
