Incredible storytelling, characterization, and suspense. I'm so sad to have reached the current end but ALSO so delighted that it's a work in progress so there will be more chapters!! Only now I'll have to read one chapter a week instead of several each night, which will be hard to adjust to after literally binging this behemoth of a fic.
The author is absolutely brilliant and the writing is wonderful (this honestly should get published if it wasn't copyrighted). I also really appreciated the warnings for smut so that I could skip ahead without needlessly reading through all of it.
By far the best fan fic I've ever read, and it completely does Daredevil justice!!
SECOND REVIEW:
Better the second time than the first because I had the privilege of enjoying the little tidbits of foreshadowing that are expertly dropped throughout the story. Forever excited for every and any email notification that comes through informing of a new chapter.

17/03/22: I’m sorry but this smacked, and at 640K+ words and counting, it’s longer than War and Peace, so it’s going on the list.
If you’re into Marvel’s Daredevil this is essential reading, I finished it and started over.

I have been reading this fanfic all year. It's very good. Didn't even know some of these were on goodreads. It's very good! It's about Daredevil. I love the spice in it. It's just the perfect amount.

7/17/22: “Paola you can’t possibly be counting fic towards your reading goal !!” I am. And without shame idc. This masterpiece is 716k+ words right now and we’re not even halfway done with all the plot points that have to be met. It is literally longer than War and Peace (587,287 words), so yeah. I’m gonna count it.
This fic lives in my head rent free 24/7. ITS INSANELY GOOD. The slowburn friends to lovers ?? Exquisite. The hurt/comfort ?? Out of this world. the smut ?? Makes me wanna go to church and im not even religious. The way the characters are written ?? Makes me feel like I’m watching the actual show, marvel hire this woman as a writer for the reboot NOW !! THE PLOT ????? Literally no words, has me on the edge of my seat every time
This is fr my comfort fic and I don’t think this will be the last time I reread 🫶🏼
