My first experience with A.K. Graves and it won’t be my last. This kicks off the Wulven Kings MC series and Graves did a great job with the worldbuilding and a diverse group of personalities.

While it’s love at first sight, this love story spans fifteen years. Sam and Sofie go through so much and I found myself laughing, crying, and loving right along with them. Sam’s life as an MC member brings chaos and danger into Sofie’s life in ways she never anticipated.

Despite the danger and questionable morals, I still felt invested in all the members of the MC. It’s obvious what an amazing family they are to Sam and I love how they want Sam & Sofie to be together.

I’m definitely listening to the next book, Surviving Midnight.

Narration:
I loved Conan Kennedy’s narration. He has a wide range of voices for the characters and really brought the emotions through. I especially liked that his entire voice changed registers for the chapters from Sofie’s perspective. I loved his voice for Sam - gruff, perfect for an MC member, and sexy. Marbles was an absolute riot.

Mmm I love me some Sam. If you chat with AK, she’ll tell you that this book was a thought, and wasn’t supposed to happen but y’all I’m so glad it did!

This is the prequel to an MC series, but the first thing you need to know is that this isn’t typical MC culture. The men respect women and treat them well.
Sam is a criminal, a MC member, and he’s good at it. . He and the MC are a family, a unit that protects each other. But every family has secrets, secrets that affect every facet of that family. Sophie entering his life is a happy accident. Her dad needed more help with all of the work he had, and she has iron ovaries. Blood doesn’t really bother her, she has an irreverent sense of humor, and she jumped right into everything. Be ready to giggle inappropriately and then ask yourself how that happened.

Their story spans years as life happened to them. Sometimes the right moment doesn’t happen, or decisions happen to move you away from where and who you are supposed to be. The hate sex is hot, the alpha hole has a way with words that will make you melt. This book is the beginning to so many good things and I can not wait!

Omg this is a fabulous read I had so many emotions reading Sam and Sophie story went from happy tears to me crying ugly I couldn’t put this story down Sam and Sophie story starts at the death scene in the beginning to him being fascinated with his Cookie and the connection they have until the one day and their world crumbles will they get their HEA you must read this story to see if they get a happy forever and your tears will be worth this read I just can’t say enough about this great book . Can’t wait for the next story in the series

I experienced such a rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book because it’s such a good book! I had never read a MC book but I binged/loved A.K. Graves’ other books, so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. Sam and Sofie jumped off the page immediately and captured my heart! Lots of steam mixed in with this romance. It’s a fantastic start to a new series and I can’t wait for the next installment!!

I have to confess, this is my first MC / non PNR novel in a very looooong time, I trusted in my guts and went for it because I really loved A.K.Graves Bound Beyond Blood series... and I was absolutely right
Sam & Sofie story spans quite a long time from their "love at first sight" moment to the HEA (because they have their well-deserved HEA at the end) but in the meanwhile you will have to pass through a rollecoaster of emotions, love, anger, loss, death, hot sex, secrets, strong family bonds, even though family may not be blood-related.....

This book is amazing.

The first in a new MC series from A K Graves, I tells the story of Sam and Sofie and all their emotional ups and downs, together with the dealing of MC life.

The authors usual writing style shines out with a touch of humour lightening up some of the darker subject.

This is a brilliant read and highly recommended.

Wonderful narration from Conan Kennedy, perfect for this book.

If you are looking to listen to great book about a motorcycle club that has sexiness, thrills, this one fits the bill.

Snipe meets Sofie, who is a mortician and is working with her father to take over his business some day, who has been working with the MC for years. The chemistry between Snipe and Sofie is just amazing. Snipe is obsessed her from the beginning . So much danger, anger, love, heartache and loss that takes a toll on their relationship.

I cried, I laughed, I raged….

Ok so this is an amazing book, kept me in totally suspense the entire time. Yeah, I wanted to throttle Sofie a few times for being so stupid, but I get it. Sam is just dangerous perfection.
I can’t wait for more from the Wolven Kings!

This was an intense book. Lots of emotional scenes and deaths. It made me cry for everyone involved. I loved that Sofie was a different type of heroine. She’s A little too innocent during the first half of the book, but smart, edgey, sassy, and sweet. Snipe has a sad background but truly found his family with the club. His BFF Marbles is a hoot, I wish that he’d actually get his own full length story separate from this book. I really enjoyed a lot of the MC brothers and I’m curious about their stories. Sofie and Snipe had great chemistry and build up, my problem is that the author skipped a ton of their first year together (when they were falling in love), to advance the story. I understand the rational reasons for doing this - but I feel like the romance aspect got cheated. I’m looking forward to the next in series.

When I finally finished this book, I was honestly surprised with what I read in the most greatest way that a reader can appreciate. As a person who likes to read a good bad boy romance novel, I am shocked to say that I think this book was the first true bad boy romance novel that I have ever read. Almost all the other bay boy romance novels that I have read have always been "a sweet boy hides behind the bad boy facade as a defense mechanism." This book didn't do that. The characters in this book are what would be considered the outcasts or weirdos of society. They were the type of people that you wouldn't normally bring home to your parents and it held onto that fact. There were some darker themes with this book and I am glad that Graves was able to go down that route. So many authors are afraid to go there or perhaps aren't confident enough to write it and have it make sense. Graves did it, she pulled it off and it made an impact on the story in ways that truly effect the main couple and their very core. I loved this book and say to anyone who is going to read it, you're in for one heck of a ride. I even did a whole book blog on the book, so check that out if you want to read my full thoughts.

The prologue of this story sucks you in. The start of the book was great and gives you insight once you get further into the book. Once I was 40% in, I was thinking, where's the plot twist? Bam, 7 years later and she ends and begins it with a hook right in the middle of the book. As Red and Cookie go through their own issues, they find each other again.
I wished there was more angst and more of a plot. I felt like there was much info in the beginning to make me want to read it, but it was a bit rushed the next half of the book. I wish Red made it harder for her to be forgiven and make her grovel a bit more. Cookie was too 180 with her decision to leave. I love HEA and glad they had their own.

A.K. Graves knows how to keep her readers interested. From the very beginning she introduces you to the life of Snipe aka Sam North. Who had a very hard life before he joins the Wulven Kings MC. Then comes in the female lead Sofie Berk aka Cookie. After a whirlwind romance, life interferes. Their lives just keep moving on as empty shells. Then their worlds collide again and their face to face again trying to get passed their broken hearts. But life has a way of working in mysterious ways. Eventually everyone gets their HEA. I can't wait until book 2 comes out.

Hold onto your helmets this is a bumpy ride but worth it.

It is rare to read a book that lives up to its hype and as the foundation book in a series the author has to go big and hard or go home. This one ticked every single box. Strong lovable characters. Big bad evils. Extremely addictive world building. Love, angst, fear, defeat, fighting to survive and more love.
Would I recommend this book? Heck yeah, in a New York second!!
Sammy aka Snipe and his Sofie aka Cookie have a story that is full and needs to be read. These characters just storm their way into the heart.

Loved this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sam and Sofie found each other in the most unexpected place ever lol. Sofie works with her Dad at the mortuary and in this unromantic atmosphere, one look creates a deep connection neither can deny but unfortunately, roadblocks and nerves creates a distance that takes years to solve. This story has happiness, excitement, imprisonment, death, sadness, confusion all before we get our happy ever after. 100% recommend this 5 star novel to everyone ❤️

So obviously A. K. Graves kills it any any genre she writes in! First I read her Paranormal Series and now the MC. She has fast become one of my favorite authors. There is always an hea filled with all the feels, steam, action and heartache and an alpha hero that you always seem to fall in love with. The story will capture you from the beginning and refuses to let you go.

Don’t miss out on Sam and Sofie. What a way to start out 2022!

Loved it. It was so good and I read it in one sitting. I couldn’t stop I had to know what happened to Sofie and Snipe. I was also deep into Marbles and Harlow story.

I love Marbles lol he is hysterical.

I really enjoyed this baby! It was spicy and had a good ass storyline. I will be reading book 2 when she releases.

Red Hot MC Romance
Really enjoyed Sam and Sofie’s story as well as the world the author is building with the Wulven Kings MC. The trauma they both experience broke my heart open and their love for each other was bittersweet considering what they go through. Man there were some tough parts in this book that left me shocked, but as always, AK Graves walked me through it. Can’t wait to read more about this MC world.

This seemed to be quite an intense story revolving around a MC club and some of the less savoury aspects associated with it. Yes there were some difficult topics / violent things that happened but I feel that many of them reflected what could have been real life experiences by real people. Sam I found to be an interesting character seemingly torn between personal and business responsibilities. Sofie’s whole situation was quite unique. I had to smile at her choice of profession and her really fun connection to her friend Harley. Watching the ups and downs of the plot arriving at a HEA ending made this a satisfying read.

A.K. Graves does it again in this New MC series. While MC books aren’t my first choice, I knew I HAD to read this, because I have loved all of Graves other books. This book DID NOT disappoint. The chemistry between Snipe and Sofie is just amazing. I never would have thought to read a story with a mortician for the FMC, but Sofie is just perfect. Snipe is obsessed her from the beginning & who could blame him? I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

You just gotta love Sam and Sophie they are the best . They had me totally in my feels with first the love they shared for each other and the steamy romps. Then the heartbreak when things took a turn . I was still rooting for them and then they come back together after a few years and I just love how it ended . I loved reading their story .

Looking for a good MC book…this is it!!

A.K. Graves is a new to me author and honestly I couldn’t have asked for more from this book. If you are looking for a motorcycle club book that gives you the perfect blend of sexiness, thrills, and a little bit of crazy along the way this is it!Sam & Sophie…how can you not love this couple! They both had their share of hurt and fear whether it was together or apart. They learned from each other but also grew individually to learn that with the perfect person they can erase your fears.

Typical Graves fashion, this will rip your heart out and stomp on it and you will go back for more. So much heartache in this one. I loved Sofie and Sam’s story it was rough and there were times I had to set it aside because of all the emotions but it was beautifully written and I cannot wait to read more about these broken brothers.
