I have to admit I am a voracious reader and I started the series because it looked like a good long read which it was . But it kept me interested all the way through it. Plenty of cold case study and not much Bond stuff. Murder abounded was punished one way or another . All in the big Apple or Florida and lots of background I have to assume is accurate . Enjoyed the whole series
I enjoyed each book in this bundle of seven. The plots were unique and the characters were well-developed. Unfortunately, the ebook format was poorly presented (e.g., some pages had only one paragraph), and the proofreader(s) missed a few words. Those were annoying distractions that did a disservice to a talented writer.
The character profiles are realistic and very interesting. The plots are fascinating and filled with twists. I am anxious to read more about the Joey Mancuso Crime Cadre!
I enjoy when books are group together and I can read them sequentially. Great and a interesting mix of characters. Very interesting and different storylines. Definitely will read more Parr books.

Joey Mancuso Crime Mysteries Vol 1-7 ( A Joey Mancuso , Father O ' Brian Crime Mystery Book 11 )
Awesome box mystery crime series !!! Loved the interaction between all the main characters !!!!! Joey & Father O ' Brian were like all brothers bugging heads continuously but their love for 1 another & their support of each other was very evident . The action & fast past of flow of story was superb !!! 💯💯💯💯 Love , Love the varied characters !!! Joey , Marcy , Father O ' Brian , Agnes , Logan , Johnston , & many more wonderful ( but very human ) characters !!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯 I will remember these books 📚📚📚📚 for a long time !!! My only complaint was all the intense amount of fusing by just about ever , I 'm very sorry to say !!! I think it was very unnecessary !!!!!!!!! All in all AWESOME !!!!!! Vicki Mencarini 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋
I read Joey Mancuso Crime Mysteries volumes 1 to 7 back-to-back. Each book left me wanting much more. Mr. Parr is an exceedingly savvy writer…he quotes Sherlock Holmes, amongst others, seems to know all the best liquors, the best cigars, all of New York (enough about every borough) Miami, Italian, Spanish, etc. etc. His mysteries are not easily solved by the reader and keep one guessing to the end. All of his close friends and family become part of the readers’ friends and family. Obviously, I thoroughly enjoyed every volume!
I kind of doubt that I will get credit for having read seven books. But that’s what this is. It is a volume of number one through seven and each story is a full length book. I enjoyed the characters and the storylines. I think maybe if I had read the books individually, I may have been a little less stressed to finish them. I recommend a good series.
Wow...just WOW! One of the best I have read in a long time. If you like mystery and intrigue you have to read these excellent books. Twists and turns that take you on a roller coaster ride; absolutely loved it. Loved this author's writing he made you feel as if you are right there a part of his team. Well done Mr. Parr I look forward to reading more of your books...keep them coming :)
I cannot say it was a good read because in fact it was a great one! For sure I’ll be looking for the next one if for no other reason than to learn the name given to the daughter. And you can bet, Mikey Liked It!
Crazy about the story lines and the great characters but these books go on longer than need be. I'll continue to follow the series but praying the author feels it in a bit.
This collection is a great find. They are easy reads and capture your attention right away. I have thoroughly enjoyed seven of them so far. These books would actually make a great weekly television series.
Each story line was different. The characters were believable and entertaining and the twists and turns were unique to each story. Not my usual type of read but I loved them.
Very quick-moving plots, and interesting atmosphere if you like cigars and alcoholic beverages. The characters are well-developed, with the exception of Father Dom, who comes across as a cut-out flat figure. Maybe it's in contrast to Joey and Agnes, I don't know. Aside from all that, aargh! terrible proofreading, like some of the stories were spoken into a recorder, typed up by somebody, and then never read over to find all those missing words. Very distracting. And too many deaths not necessary to the plot.
