Yasmine Clark has always strived to be the perfect preacher’s daughter.
And she’s over it.
When she meets gorgeous, smooth-talking Hunter Demalio, she knows he’s just the rebellion she’s been looking for. One night of explosive passion with a man she’ll never have to see again.
Fate, however, has other plans. Now bearing the consequences of their wild night together, she tracks Hunter down to give him the news. And even though she’s just a few months shy of giving birth to his child, their chemistry is just as electric as it was that night in the club.
Wanting Hunter has never been the problem—it’s trusting him that seems impossible. She’ll give him her body, and even a child, but there’s one thing she knows she can never let Hunter Demalio get his hands on.
Tia Sirrah loves to create interracial contemporary romance stories about flawed people and their unfiltered journeys that eventually lead to their happily ever afters. An introvert at heart with an overactive imagination, writing has been a hobby of Tia’s since she was a little girl. Her love of reading and writing led her to attend California State University Hayward, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She currently resides in Northern California with her husband, their two children, and a cuddle-bully cat.
I adored Hunter and Yasmin’s story. It’s a slow burn, mixed in with a whole lot of intensity. It took me by surprise because their love story is nothing like the first two couples. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful story. Every girl has felt what Yasmine has felt for Hunter. That one person you would move the oceans and the mountains to be with, but they don’t do “love “ or “fidelity.” There are so many moments when reading this book that you could easily be in her place. So I love this book on a personal level as well as an entertaining one.
While they’re circles around them have them intertwined, but only meeting just now…it’s one they will not forget.
Yasmin is the preachers daughter, and generally a good girl. She has lead a decent life but feels she has a lot to live up to. On a visit to see her siblings she venture out of her comfort zone and meets someone. A one night stand with Hunter Demalio turns her whole world upside down. Hunter is the quintessential Playboy, who is sexy, talented, and completely unavailable. Their one night leads them to the unthinkable when 2 pink lines appear. They begin navigating a thin line when it comes to their feelings for each other. Will they be able to coparent and keep their hands off each other? Better yet can they not lose their hearts to one another?
Tia sirrah strikes again... as usual, her books...engrossing the reader. It was exciting to finally read Hunter's book, and I wasn't disappointed. The cover of Hunter is delicious. The description of his character was 😋. I 💯 ❤️ Tia's books, she is one of the best authors out there that I have read. She actually gives you a story that you get caught up in. Every time I read her books, I'm laughing, talking to myself, and trying to figure out what's going to happen next or who the next book is about. I feel as though I'm watching a series, and when it's over, I'm waiting for the next season. Although this book wasn't as dramatic, with all the shocking Secrets And Lies as well as history, as the first two in this series, it's still a great read, and 🗣I can't wait for Victor's story! I have to say that Unrequited is still my all-time favorite of this series! But I recommend reading the entire series to understand the connection between each book, I also recommend reading the stand alone. It introduces you to Yasmine's character, which is one of the main characters in this book. Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I did miss the S&L and H that the others had. I was hoping that we would get more of the detailed crossover, intertwining from the previous book, like the others had. In my opinion, it really weaves the stories together and makes for more of an interesting and dramatic read. But before I go, I have to say, I COULDN'T STAND Yasmine's dad, he was a hypocrite and called himself a preacher, ugh🤬! I would've cut his ass out of my life for good a long time ago!
The book was a fun relaxing read. The build up of their relationship made sense. Although i was concerned about Jasmine at the start. Her attitude to Hunter when she called to tell him about the pregnancy was ridiculous. He didn’t know her so what did she expect? That he would take her word for it without checking ? I was glad that she became more sensible and opened herself to growing a honest relationship with Hunter. As for Hunter, I liked his honesty. It’s best to be clear upfront, and it’s hypocritical of her and anyone else who were up to a one night stand to now judge him for his casual hook ups. My reservations about the book was mainly the very cavalier attitude to cheating in the book. I actually disliked Jasmine’s brother who had an affair with a married woman, is still trying to justify his behavior and had the gall to judge Hunter. It was a recurring theme with Jasmine’s mother, Hunter’s mother and now Skylar. The book also lacked some scenes with friends and family. We didn’t meet Hunter’s 3 brothers. Lastly what does Liam look like?
This was very surface level, but I finished it so there’s that I guess? Story felt very isolated and revolved pretty exclusively around the pregnancy, and we have pretty much no insight into their lives prior or any in-depth knowledge of their interior lives.
Also there were about a million people and complicated family trees to keep up with, and I just did not care about all of those people. And if I have one pet peeve in books it’s when authors try to tease an upcoming book in a series only to end up deterring me from ever reading said book. Like you’d be hard pressed to garner empathy (from me) for someone who cheats on their boyfriend with their best friend’s boyfriend on the best of days, but as a minor storyline in this book, yeah I just don’t care about the characters remotely enough for that to be even a little intriguing.
Every single book in this series is 🔥! Now I want to go back and read the first two again. I remember when I first discovered Tia Sirrah as an author; I was immediately thrilled and impressed by her writing style. So glad she’s still producing poignant swoony BWWM IRs. It’s my favorite genre, and there aren’t many written at this level of greatness.
This was a good sweet read. Not to much drama. Sometimes you just want a good love story not overly sweet. Just two people who was hurt in the past. Yas, by feeling unloved by her father and Hunter by his ex wife. Give it a read. No regrets here!
I’m so glad Hunter finally got his happily ever after. I loved him in Q and Fatima’s story. I also happy Yasmine found someone to love her and take care of her.
I really enjoyed this book and how the characters are loosely connected to other characters that I enjoyed reading about in previous books. One of my favorite couples since Connor and Novalee.
This was my first time reading a book by this author and I greatly enjoyed Hunter and Yasmine’s love story. This book ends with me left with a lot of questions about what happened with Skylar, Victor, Esme, and Ian. But overall this was a good book that you will not want to put down.
First of all, I really enjoyed the first two books of this series (unrequited being my favorite). Hunter s character intrigued me… So i was expecting this one so bad. Maybe it can explain some disappointments.
The writing is fabulous and the pace of the story is also very good.
Spoilers alert !
In my opinion, there was no chemistry between those two. Not the first time they met nor during the entire story. I thought Yasmine was a quite boring character with not such development. Ok, I can understand that she decides to keep the baby of her one night stand. But if you want the daddy involved, how can you wait this long before telling him that you are expecting his child ? Therefore, How can she fall so easily for him ? Yasmine character was weak and a tiny little bit obsessed about Hunter. I felt like Hunter didn’t like her whatsoever. He just decided to stick around for the plot sake.

This has got to be my favorite book of the series. I've read Hunter and Yasmine story a couple of times and I still see react as if its my first time reading it. Hunter and Yasmine had Insta chemistry that first night and they created little Liam. They also had love at first sight which they were both fighting but their connection was so strong that they decided to be friends ( anything to stay with each other) and build a good relationship to raise their son together in. With having strong feelings for each other, becoming friends, living together and preparing for a child together, love was bound to happen. The way they dealt with family drama, jealousy and any other issues that popped up Hunter and Yasmine could handle whatever. The way Hunter cared and showed Yasmine he loved her before realizing it himself was so sweet and geniune. And Yasmine, the way she was cared for Hunter by returning home to Texas so that he could be a part of his son's life and deciding to move in with Hunter so they can raise baby Liam together was true love. I really loved how Hunter and Yasmine became a family including their friends too. Definitely my favorite.
I adored Hunter and Yasmin's story. It's a slow-burn romance. This book offers a sweet, feel-good read with not too much drama. Sometimes, you crave a love story that isn't overly saccharine but still tugs at your heartstrings. Yasmin and Hunter's journey is a testament to second chances.
Yasmin, the preacher's daughter, is the epitome of a good girl. She's led a decent life but feels the weight of expectations on her shoulders. During a visit to see her siblings, she crosses paths with Hunter Demalio and what starts as a one-night stand, turns her world completely upside down.
Hunter is depicted as a sexy and talented individual, but he carries the baggage of being completely unavailable. Despite their differences, Yasmin and Hunter's connection is undeniable, and their journey is a delightful one filled with surprises.
One of the highlights of this book is the connection between the characters and their appearances from previous books in the series. It adds a layer of familiarity and charm. If you've enjoyed the series so far, this book is a must-read, and it continues to deliver on the promise of heartfelt and passionate romance.
If I didn’t read the first 2 books, this book would have been a dealbreaker for me. I must admit I have biases for some of the things mentioned in the book and that has influenced my rating. First off, it’s common sense if your partner didn’t use a condom, chances are you may become pregnant. At 23, Yaz should know this. Then you remain pregnant for months and then decide to look up the father but pretend that you can take care of yourself on your own. You are not in a good job, you live at your brother’s apartment. Don’t you know babies are expensive.? That was my first turn off.
The clincher was the N word. No matter the spelling, it’s offensive and honestly added nothing to the story. I get sometimes writing is difficult but I know what you are capable of and because of that I’ll read your next book.
I absolutely loved this story!!! The wait was 1000% worth it!! Hunter and Yasmine burned up these pages. Hunter was a swoon worthy, never needing commitment alpha and Yasmine was the gorgeous Queen that made him fall! A one night stand that leads to forever…yes Please. I love the Surrender series, loved the special appearances from past characters. Book 3 has now prompted me to go back and read the first 2 books. Tia Sirrah’s words are so beautifully written. I can’t wait for more…as in hopefully we get Skylar’s story because their is a lot of tea brewing there. I would definitely recommend giving this entire series a read.
She was so immature that it really took away from the romance and chemistry of the story. Her age really showed and this book is a perfect example at how gross it is when men go for super young women. Like seriously how is that sexy. Like I don't get how or when they fell in love. I wish the girl had been closer to hunter's age and preferably well established. Overall the book was so cringe and boring . So formulaic and told in a step by step manner that is so dull. I am rather surprised that I finished the book considering how my gut knew ealier on that the book was not going to get any better
This is my first time reading this author’s books and first book in the series and I think I’m hooked! Stayed up reading and wanting to know what was going to happen. Great book about a one night stand that becomes so much more. The h is visiting her siblings and for her final night, she and her sister have a night on the town. There she meets the H and has a connection and they sleep together. The night of passion results in an unplanned pregnancy. Overall great read, just wish we had gotten the H input since the story was only told from the h point of view. Can’t wait to read more of this series!
There are three relationships. One is the relationship between Skylar, Niko and Yasmine. A beautiful family connection that shows how very close they are. Then you have friendships with Yasmine, Aria and Skylar not to mention Novalee and Fatima. The main one between Hunter and Yasmine is lovely. I really like the progression of how they came together. I appreciate the growth of Hunter and how he took care of Yasmine throughout her pregnancy and after. I thought their personal relationship fire, grown up sexy, spicy and equally loving 🥰🥰🥰❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️. I love his revelation of his feelings. Most of all I love that little Liam. Great story!
This is the 3rd book in the Surrender Series and I loved all 3 books. This one was a long time coming but worth the wait. Although it is a slow rise to Jasmine and Hunter cementing their relationship the narrative is well paced. It was nice to see the characters from the last two books incorporated in the storyline. I wish the ending had been more in-depth but overall is was a delightful read. Tia Sirrah is a noteworthy author in the IR Romance genre and I am excited to see what’s next.
I love this book. I'm big fan of your writing. This story was much needed. I haven't had a good book to write a review for long time. I love how each character I had read from before are making a come back. I love when you reading a great book and you have that in back your head; Will they or won't they. I need a favor Mrs. Sirrah please I need to know what is going on with Victor, Skylar and Esme? I really need that tea sis my mouth is watering for that book. Overall I highly recommend this story and Mrs. Sirrah doesn't disappoint her readers.
Tia Sirrah books are good and entertaining. I would ethe stories if maybe the characters are bit more realistic or rather a bit more flawed. The men all growl, and brood, and grunt appropriately, I just feel like they're characters in a book. There's no transportation here. Bottom line I will follow her and will read her books because they are good. The characters are all different. They are likable but remind me a fast food chain that I like that has good food.
I have been waiting for Hunter’s book and I was not disappointed! I found this book to be a hot, sexy and overall enjoyable 3rd book in the series. The main characters are definitely made for each other! It was also nice seeing Characters from the previous books appear in this story as well. I have read all of Tia Sirrah’s books and I am pleased to add this one to my collection!
Love Hunter and Yasmine story even though it started unconventional and I'm usually not crazy about pregnancy right away but they were so adorable together that you just embraced them. I loved how the amazing characters from Book 1 and 2 was in this book and became best of friends. Look forward to having book on her sister Skylar which would give us more insights on all 3 couples.
I love how Hunter thought he was getting revenge on Yaz's brother for sleeping with his ex and couldn't believe it was the best sex he ever had that he runs away. But when Yaz find out she's pregnant and he requests a DNA, which piss Yaz off, but she does it anyway. He can't stay away from her and gets jealous whenever someone is looking at her butt he becomes protective over her. I loved how everyone knew that she was in love with him, but him.
I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were very entertaining. I loved the chemistry between Yasmin and Hunter it was smoking hot 🔥! Their storyline was sweet and endearing with a hint of drama. Again, Ms. Sirrah, you have done an amazing job with this series. I can't wait to read your next work. I absolutely recommend this series to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed.
Yasmine and Hunter's story had its twist and turns. Yasmine's family life was very unconventional, and her father was so hypocritical and judgmental when he had done much worse in his life. I'm just glad that Yasmine and Hunter were able to push through all of their problems to make their relationship work and to have HEA.
This one was a little different from the first two which I re-read to gain a better perspective of this book and also to remember the previous couples from the other book. I am also glad that friendships were gained between the current lady and the previous ones in the other books. I am glad that everyone got their HEA.
This book gives clear understanding why a grown man should not date a child. She was almost exhausting through the whole book. Truly acting her age. It got very nerve wracking real soon. And the beginning said she was 8 months pregnant but once she told Hunter, she became 7 months. How does that work???
Compared to the previous 2 books, this book has gone down in rating for me because although the blurb was gripping, I don’t think it was executed as good as I was expecting. Having to wait for the new book in the series after reading the prior 2 books, I feel like this book is slightly boring and I’ve lost connection with the characters which is a shame.
