Pushed through a splice between two parallel Realms, Trinity Dawkins lands in the middle of a busy Minnesota street, literally. The trauma leaves her blind and amnesia-stricken, but she soon finds sanctuary in the strong arms of struggling artist, Jayden Brown.
He’s intrigued by her quirky behavior, voracious appetite, and her incessant curiosity about common things like cars, French fries, and cell phones. But his tolerance is tested when wings unexpectedly burst from her back.
Even worse, the otherworldly enemies she fled make their way to Earth, determined to capture her. Trinity and Jayden are thrown into a battle bound by rules they don’t understand and may not survive.

This book was really unique! I really enjoy this read. It's definitely I struggled to put down. If you love lost identities, hidden powers, and mates this is a book for you!
It's based around Trinity and Jayden. Trinity gets thrown into a new realm and loses her memories in the process. On the other side Jayden is there to pick her up and guide her to figure out who she is and if she is a missing person from somewhere.
I love the bond that Trinity and Jayden form along her journey to find out who she is and where she's from. Jayden becomes her teacher right off the bat cause she doesn't understand certain words from his realm and when he throws in some slang she's even more confused. I can't wait for book two to see where Trinity's journey leads to next.
I read this book in a day. Simply devoured it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 rounded up to 5 for where there can only be 5 stars.
Loved the characters Trinity and Jayden. Both are well-drawn.
The plot is thoroughly engaging. Amnesia trope for romance. A little of a fallen angel feel, but it’s another race/realm. Fast-paced. Could not put it down.
Lots to love. Complete story arc with a hook for the next book in the series.
THE GOODS Characters and Plot. It was like an engine pulling me through this book. I simply couldn't put it down. Trinity was sweet and naive. Jayden was damaged, and them coming together was really the only way he could heal. It was a great match. The larger plot is beginning to develop at the end of Book 1, and I'm definitely here for the whole trilogy.
COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER I can't think of much. I did want more about the world they came from, so worldbuilding would be my only want for something more. I have a feeling I'm getting it in Book 2. Many thanks to Lynn Rush for my paperback ARC!
I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next installment in the trilogy! I read this in one sitting. I couldn't put it down! Trinity is not from Earth, so everything is new to her. Luckily, Jayden has the patience of a saint and is very sweet with her! Trinity doesn't remember who she is or where she is from, all she knows is her name because it is on her wrist cuff. She appeared out of thin air, in the middle of the street, blind, and without a clue as to what had happened to her. It's very mysterious, part of why I couldn't put it down! I don't want to spoil anything, so I will just say that if you like Hush, Hush... you are sure to like this!
Jayden and Trinity will make you keep reading and wanting more. New series, characters are in their 20's and Trinity an angel, has entered the human modern world. She can't remember what and why has brought her to her current but knows she's missing a lot and have so many unanswered questions. Jayden, an artist helps her in her time of need. The story was a bit slow in the beginning but picked up and I couldn't put it down. There is just something bigger meant for Trinity & Jayden. Looking forward to seeing how this trilogy ends. Just more questions and need more of these two together!
I Love Lynn Rush’s writing, and this book is among her best. Crossed begins in mystery and immerses readers in a beautiful, innocent tale about lost identity, hidden powers and old wounds that never heal, that is until Trinity and Jayden meet…
For those who devour paranormal romance, relishing themes of insta-love, fated soulmates and fighting the unstoppable, Crossed (Winged #1) is just perfect.
And the best news? There are two more books in the series!
Absolutely loved this! Trinity has amnesia and no eyesight, when Jayden finds her and feels the urge to help her. She immediately feels safe with him. He’s so sweet and patient with her, it’s beautiful. Together they find out who she is, where she comes from, and the wings that suddenly appear over time. I cannot wait for the next book!
For those who love this: she’s under 5 ft and he’s over 6 ft
Do yourself a favor and read this ASAP! You will be so glad you did.

Trinity Dawkins came to earth from her realm to escape bonding with a man she didn't want. But as she entered our world through a portal, her consciousness brought no memory. It even took her sight, at first. Upon landing in the middle of a busy highway, Jayden Brown saved her. He’s an artist who takes her in, keeping her safe, clothed and fed. Just meeting her gets his creative juices flowing again. Everything about her intrigues him. When they touch, both feel sensations unlike any other. But when wings suddenly explode out of her back, their situation becomes even more bewildering. The stakes get even higher when enemies from her realm show up on earth, determined to take her back. Now Trinity and Jayden are in a battle neither are prepared to fight. As more feelings grow toward each other, will they be able to fight for their HEA?
This was a beautiful story. I normally need spice so I can vicariously experience what I miss but I didn't miss it at all while reading. Needless to say, I'm already addicted to this author's creative ability. This ends on more of a happy for now instead of a true cliffhanger but I'm still excited for what comes next in this trilogy. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Review:
When Trinity is pushed through a splice between two realms she ends up in the middle of a busy Minnesota street with no memories of her life and blind. She is lucky the kind Jayden saves her and decides to help her.
It was very interesting to see Trinity adaptation in this new reality, she seemed to have come from a place with no modern technology and she had to learn things. Jayden was always kind and something seemed to pull the two of them together and strong feelings developed. The two of them together were really sweet.
I just felt that somewhere past the middle of the book the MCs seemed to be passive, letting destiny take hold of their lives and they didn’t do much to change the bad things that were happening, until nearly the ending, when the action starts.
The book will be continued in books two and three, but don’t worry, the book don’t end in a life altering cliffhanger, it just makes us to know how things will develop in the future.
*** I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. ***
This was such a great palate cleanser in between all my dark reads. I love stories that involve angels so I knew this would be right up my alley.
I love Trinity and Jayden’s relationship. It’s definitely a little instant love but I haven’t read that in a while so I was totally into it. The ending wasn’t to bad of a cliff hanger so I’m curious to see where book 2 is going to go!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book, provided by Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
When I first started reading, it was a bit heavy and confusing in the up front - but that's because it's world building, and you need to take into consideration that takes time. As the book went on, and more details were shared, the time flew by, and I read this book rather quickly. I used to read a lot of paranormal books, but paranormal romance is not in my normal rotation. This one is heavy on the mystery, and I wanted to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding Trinity maybe more than Jayden did haha
Trinity literally drops down in the middle of the street, and she is saved by artist Jayden, who is not very open or honest with Trinity in the beginning, but I have to wonder if the confusion may have been Trinity's inability to, well, people. Trinity starts out blind with amnesia, pretty much, and her narrative could be flawed if taken straight. She doesn't understand slang or sarcasm, so she'd be so lost talking to me.
Jayden has a past, friends, and even a girlfriend, but that doesn't stop him from caring for Trinity when he finds her. He's lucky he has a great support system, and that this book is New Adult - it wouldn't have worked as a YA book haha! With help from his agent (he's an artist, remember?) and the agent's wife, Jayden is able to introduce Trinity to life to see if she can get her memories back. As they spend more time together, their feelings grow, and they realize they are meant to be together for some reason.
That's when Trinity's wings rip free from her shoulder blades.
The story slowly unfolds, but the romance is almost immediate for Trinity and Jayden. As he helps her piece together her life before they met, you can tell they are going to eventually have their happy ending, but it won't be easy because, well, it never is. By the time I got to the end, I wanted to go straight to the next book. But it's not out yet. And now I wait.
What would you feel like if you arrived at a place blind and with no memory of who you are and found danger all around you? Well in this engaging story you can find the answers through the eyes of Trinity, a girl who doesn’t know how she got where she is and is awestruck by everything she sees, especially a boy who comes to her aid just as she appears out of nowhere. Things we all take for granted have to be explained to her and slowly her sight is restored but her memories haven’t returned in this first book in a new series by Lynn Rush.
I enjoyed seeing the world through Trinity’s eyes as she tries to make sense of all these new experiences and feelings and emotions she has and as her feelings for the boy get stronger, they find out she is different than those around her in more ways than her small stature.
I recommend this book as one that people who love a sweet romantic story coupled with escaping some bad guys who intend to do harm to Trinity will enjoy. The writing is fresh and original and I was captivated by the story and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
There are many books out there but if you want to read a story that shows how goodness triumphs over evil and leaves you feeling happy for our two heroes, I know you’ll like this story!
I am excited to read the next book in this series and see what new adventures await Trinity and Jayden and their friends. I invite you to come along. I know you’ll enjoy the adventure as well!
I Love Lynn Rush’s writing, and this book is among her best. Crossed begins in mystery and immerses readers in a beautiful, innocent tale about lost identity, hidden powers and old wounds that never heal, that is, until Trinity and Jayden meet…

If you enjoy fantasy and my paranormal romance then crossed is for you. Trinity lands from a parallel realm in Minnesota. She finds protection from Jayden brown a struggling artist. But the enemies she flew from have followed her they are thrown in a battle for their lives. This book had great mystery and romance read it in one night.
CROSSED is the first instalment in Lynn Rush’s contemporary, adult WINGED paranormal/fantasy romance series focusing on nineteen year old angel Trinity Dawkins, and twenty-three year old artist Jayden Brown.
Told from first person perspective (Trinity) CROSSED follows nineteen Trinity Dawkins in the aftermath of ‘crossing’ between two parallel Realms. Trinity Dawkins has amnesia, found wondering the streets of Berg, Minnesota, a young woman without the ability to see or talk. Rescued by artist Jayden Brown, Trinity will quickly recover but for the strange scars that appear on her back. Falling for Jayden was easy but Trinity was unaware of the true nature of her DNA, DNA that would reveal hidden wings and someone else waiting for her back home. What ensues is the slow building relationship between Trinity and Jayden, and the potential fall-out as several people from her home-world come searching for our story line heroine.
Trinity Dawkins has no idea as to the who, what and how of her current predicament but her memories will slowly reveal not all was well in her world, back home. Naïve to the smallest nuances of modern Earth, Trinity must learn the basic of elements, in an effort to survive in a world she knows nothing about. Jayden Brown is an outcast; rejected by his family for his choices in life, Jayden finds himself a reclusive artist who has lost his muse in the face of losing someone he loved. Trinity’s arrival in Jayden’s life stirs up more than his sexual desire but the return of need for paint and draw.
The relationship between Jayden and Trinity is one of immediate attraction but Trinity is almost childlike in her inability to understand and comprehend the modern world, and Jayden isn’t free to pursue our story line heroine. There are no $ex scenes.
We are introduced to Jayden’s agent , Zander and his wife Karen; Detective Nicks; Trinity’s cousin August, as well as Bastian and Trystan, Trystan’s mother Catherine, and Jayden’s ex Grace.
CROSSED is a story of trust and understanding, magic and mayhem, acceptance and first love. The premise is engaging and intriguing; the romance is subtle and limited; the characters are magical, energetic and struggling.
Trinity was pushed through to a different realm, and it left her blind with amensia. She quite literally lands in a busy street, but luckily, our hero, Jayden, stepped up to rescue her. He takes her home despite the fact that it would et complicated, and as they spend more time together, things are devloping into more. However it's all fun & games until wings explode out of her back, and there are those hunting her as well. Can Jayden protecct her from the otherwordly beings?! It was slow going at first for whatever reason (hell I could have been tired), but once it hit its strikde, it was lights out as I devoured the rest of it. I really love the world Lynn Rush created, and since she's a new to me author, I'm super excited to read more by her! Please hit those one click buttons as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I absolutely adored this book. I really like the idea of “fallen angels” and even though it technically isn’t, it gave me that same feeling.
Running away from a bad situation, Trinity lets her cousin, August, send her through a portal to Earth… except that she wouldn’t know that she would lose all of her memories doing it. While stumbling thru the streets, blind and disorientated, she meets Jayden who becomes her savior. Jayden is an artist, and ever since his younger sister died while on his watch, wants to make sure that other women don’t suffer the same fate. He takes Trinity to his house hoping to help her discover who she is and where she came from. Trinity realizes her name based on the gold band on her wrist, but she doesn’t know why she has it or where it came from. She remembers a few standard things, but there are a lot of things that happens that she is completely clueless to. While helping her out, trinity and jayden become closer and closer – she feels a strange electricity around him…. So electric in fact, that being with him in too much of a romantic sense (kissing), makes her wings emerge. She has wings?? What? At least now they know that she isn’t quite human. And now she discovers that there are others out there like her and they are trying to capture her.
This story is SOOOOO good. I felt it was very original, and I loved all the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see what happens next! But I am so glad that August is sticking around!
I received this ARC for an honest reviewed and really enjoyed it. If you are into sweet paranormal romance then this book is for you.
Trinity, an Angel lands on earth, blind with no memories of who she is and where she came from. Jayden finds her and cares for her until the Detective can help locate her family. Trinity and Jayden have an instant connection. They later discover how and why she ended up on earth as the story unfolds.
Aside from the story starting slow in the beginning it does picks up towards the end. I look forward to the next book.
Genre: YA Fantasy/Paranormal romance Tropes: ◆Winged creature ◆Supernatural ◆Soulmates ◆Found family ◆Virgin ◆Amnesia
Synopsis: The last thing she remembers is falling...
She is rescued by a nice man with a musky scent she is drawn to.. but she can't see him. It seems she has lost her eyesight along with her memories. Everything feels strange around her. She doesn't recognize anything. The only thing she has is a gold band with her name etched on it.. 'Trinity'
My Thoughts: This book! I am obsessed!! I cannot wait for the next book in this series😩😩 The writing style is really engaging and I was hooked from the very first chapter! The chemistry between Trinity and Jayden.. their impossible love is just ahhhh! I'm in love with this book and the author.. and I'm about to read all her other books now!
This was a comfort read, I used to love reading about angels and the drama that follows. I loved the characters and the plot!! The characters were so cute and precious!!
Trinity has lost her memories and does not know what is happening. The only one who is helping her and seems to care for her is Jayden!! I loved watching Trinity grow and learn about herself and the world around her.
My Review: Crossed by Lynn Rush is part #1 in the Winged Trilogy.
About the Book: A Bolentian being is transported to Earth, where she faces the harsh realities of humanity. A human male of significance is driven to help her find her way. The more time they spend together, the more they fall for one another. Unfortunately, her former mate refuses to let her go.
Question to Consider: Can two creatures find a lasting love despite the odds?
My Final Say: The start of the story was rather difficult to digest due to the seemingly crude communication style of the main character. I simply didn't like it. It somehow took away from the story. With that said, I'm glad I decided to push through. After the initial hiccup, the story actually picked up steam. I devoured the rest of the book. The story was a unique one.
Other: The ending provided a good setup for more. I loved that it left me with questions. This clean romance will appeal to those who like angelic warriors and new found love T/NAs.
Sincere appreciation is extended to the author, to the publisher (FHL Press), and to NetGalley. Thank you for granting access to this title in exchange for an honest review. The words that I have voluntarily shared are my own. It was a pleasure to read this novel. I look forward to becoming better acquainted with this author's work in the future.
When Trinity is walking around the streets in a town in Minnesota blind and confused, Jayden finds her and takes her in. Her eye sight gradually comes back to her but her memory is still elusive. Jayden, an artist, tries to help her find out who she is and what happened. Trinity helps Jayden with his artistic block. There is just something strange about the scars on her back. Opinion I have looked forward to this book for quite a while. The premise of the book is a bit pat but the story itself is fascinating. I think the drama caused by Jayden's girlfriend will be perfect for the young adult reader. The draw to each other will also give that reader a thrill. This book is the first in a new trilogy called Winged. I happened to have been a beta reader for the second book (without reading the first book beforehand.) Together, the books make a great combo and I cannot wait for the third to come out. Many thanks to Lynn Rush and Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this book.
Perfect for fans of Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and Fallen by Lauren Kate.
This really did give me Hush, Hush vibes but with more of an innocence to it (as opposed to Patch's bad boy vibe) and gender roles reversed. Crossed is quite fast paced, both in story and the FMC, Trinity, and MMC, Jayden falling for each other. I actually wondered if there's more to Jayden than meets the eye because there was instant attraction and so much chemistry between him and Trinity. That being said, it's not that spicy (for those wondering) which didn't bother me at all. The story itself was interesting with plenty of action and has me excited for the sequel. Lynn Rush did a great job of creating really likeable characters (here's looking at you Karen!) and also the not so likeable (*cough* Bastian *cough*). A fantastic read which would be ideal for those new to the paranormal/angel genre.
✨ARC Review ✨ *** Thank you to Lynn Rush and Valentinepr for the ARC to review. *** Crossed was so fun to read. It had mates, different realms, winged people, and power hungry villains. Trin and Jayden were a match made in heaven. Their love and chemistry was so sweet and cute. They were perfect for one another. The storyline was super interesting and the twists kept me at the edge of my seat. I loved Jayden and his love/protectiveness. The ending was great but I was left a bit confused because it seemed like all had ended well for the characters and there is a book 2. *** ⭐⭐⭐.5 ***
Thank you Netgalley and FHL Press for a chance to read Crossed by Lynn Rush. This is the first book in the YA Winged series, and I loved the cover, and am a fan of Angel fantasy books. The story was fast paced, I liked the characters, and some of the plot points were somewhat unique (like how often in books do you read about wings trying to come out of the back?). While I enjoyed the story overall, it was a little bit young for me.
This is a thrill ride of a book. A woman stumbles in front of a moving car, blind and terrified, she has no memory of where she is from and no knowledge of the world into which she has suddenly been thrust. I was up late finishing this book because I couldn't put it down. Bravo!
This story concerns love, courage, finding your place in the world, and many firsts. The characters are well written, and you are kept engaged, wanting to know what will happen next.
Trinity, a winged being from another world, is thrust into ours, where she has no memory and is taken in by Jayden. The story has twists and turns, leaving you guessing what will happen next.
I also love how the book was set up perfectly for book two without a giant cliffhanger.
