From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes GOD OF TEMPTATION , a very-probably-inappropriate Paranormal Romance.
Tula Jones is a simple farmgirl who never dreamed she’d fall for a real-life god. And not just any god. When it comes to Zac, God of Temptation, no man is more dedicated, sexy, and alluring on the planet. Hello! Temptation powers!
But when Zac and his brethren mysteriously disappear, Tula is beside herself. Watch out. I’m coming to save my man! (And the rest of his kind.) But where are they?
Then she receives a photo from a mysterious stranger, and the news is devastating. The gods are prisoners in the underworld, and Zac has been cheating with the other “guests.”
Tula doesn’t want to believe Zac would betray her. She and Zac are soul mates, right?
But if she wants the truth, Tula must answer the summons from a demon who’s hellbent on taking over the world.
And he wants to keep her.
This can be read as a standalone, but it’s a smidgeon more fun if you’ve read the other crazy books. This is the series FINALE. Yes, I mean it this time. No. Really. You can’t have more. Snort.

Whether it’s Romance, Suspense/Thriller, or Fantasy, there are always big heroes to root for, smart and resourceful heroines, and a ton of heart pumping excitement in every story.
Mimi lives with her extremely patient husband (“Be right there! Just one more page, honey!”), two pirates-in-training (their boys), and their three spunky dragons (really, just very tiny dogs with big attitudes) Snowy, Mini, and Mack, in the vampire-unfriendly state of Arizona.
God of Temptation is book seven and the final book in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. We have been suffering right along with Zac and Tula throughout this series. These two’s relationship has suffered every hardship imaginable. Now, they finally get their own book and their own happy ending, hopefully.
The deities have all been imprisoned in the underworld and Tula is determined to save her man. Her major obstacle is how to actually get to the underworld where no human is allowed. Her next obstacle, it seems the demon king, Maury, wants her for himself. And he makes Tula a deal that she doesn’t dare refuse if she wants any chance of getting Zac back.
“All those apocalypses and wars. All that sacrifice. And look at where it got us. No more. For once, he was putting Tula first, putting them first.”
Zac is determined to find Tula. Maury makes him a deal. He’s giving Zac two weeks to win her back, but there are some special rules involved. That’s okay. Zac knows their love is true. Let Maury throw whatever he wants at them, they will find each other, right?!
At the same time, all of the rest of the deities are imprisoned. And of course, Cimil is at the helm, finding them a way to escape. Demons are running rampant all over the earth and they need to be sent back to the underworld. Not to mention, all the deities have been separated from their human mates. They want to be reunited with their families.
This book might be the craziest of them all. The shenanigans are non stop from beginning to end. And yes, Zac and Tula get their HEA. But of course, Mimi Jean leaves that opening for a future spin off series. I suspect it will be full of all kinds of new craziness!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
God of Temptation by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is a paranormal romantic comedy. It's the seventh and final book from the Immortal Matchmakers Inc.
This book is about Zac, the God of Temptation, and his human mate, Jones. They met when she went to work at Immortal Matchmakers which was owned by him and his sister. They fell in love and were ready to get married when all the gods disappeared and the semi-gods lost their powers and became human. Tula took it upon herself to find her man and what happened to everyone, which led her to the underworld and to the demon king who caused everything. While Tula and Zac made deals with the deceiving demon the rest of the gods were trying to escape and have: One last intervention. One last deific hurrah. And then retirement.
It is such an insanely hilarious story. A great combination of paranormal and romantic comedy. It's filled with crazy situations, very inappropriate conversations, and wicked humor. The plot is great, it has good world-building and a steady pace. It was divided into two parts, the one with Zac and Tula and the other one with the rest of the gods. The characters were incredible, I can't choose which one was my favorite. I loved everything in this book and I will read it again for sure. I just wish I had read the other ones before this one so I could get a better feeling of the situation between the gods and the rest of the creatures.
I highly recommend you to read this book if you need a good laugh. I will rate it with 5 stars.
I don't wanna go!!! Zac is one of my favorite characters in this series ( Though our mischievous unicorn ranks up top as well 🦄) After everything, he and Tula went through I was not sure how their "grand finale" was going to playout Would they get their HEA? Would they come out whole on the other side? Gotta remember things are a bit chaotic (nice way of saying majorly fubar'd ) at the moment
But alas - never fear and rest assured it all came together with quite a bang
God of temptation (like every book in the matchmaker series) was packed with laughter, sarcasm, confusion, hijinx, suspense, a few "lesson learned" moments, and as always the sweetest happily ever after.
I'm going to miss this motley bunch but I am looking forward to the tailor's story
ARC TIME! courtesy of ms Mimi and her fabulous team. Thank you all for once again trusting me with your latest gift,!
Well, this is the story we've all waited for, how does Mimi pack so much fun into her awesome books? We have Zac comparing his *man bits* to three inch spaghetti noodles? What!!? We all know how much pride Zac has in his huge manhood, so what is going on?
There is a huge messy mix up with our crazy friends from the land of gods, and laughs and snorts come hard and fast, we even get a special visit from Chuck and his beezness of bee jizz. I laughed so hard at that!
So, Mimi tells us this is the end. . . . . .but the mixed up mess things are in? Yeah, nah. The gods and goddesses we all love will be back, it might not be this year, but I firmly believe Mimi won't leave them like they are. . . Well not all of them!
Thank you Mimi for the awesome stories you bring us!
Note: I received an advanced review copy in exchange for my honest review.
If you’re new to the series - this isn’t the best place to start; but the story itself is a good one.
Avoiding spoilers; I will say I enjoyed the chaos that unfolded in this book. Our god Zack has a lot to sort out in order to find his happily-ever-after…and I was not disappointed in Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s newest Immortal Matchmaker book! The humour, deep passion/love, mysteries to unfold too; it’s a mixed bag of good reading.
If you’ve read any of the series before I highly recommend this wacky group of gods; and we’ve been awaiting for this book for awhile - it was worth it.
The Prologue had me cracking up, but that was nothing I hadn’t expected from this series.
Tula is a mortal, a human, a simple farm girl, but whoever messed with her world and took her man, Zac, the God of Temptation, was going to be held accountable.
Zac had tempted her, but she resisted his hunkaliciousness…until…
Their love will be put to the test.
Never make a deal with a demon.
Talk about walking in someone else’s shes…
I have missed a book or two in the series, but have loved all the ones I have read and each can stand alone.
Gods and demons, supernatural creatures of all races, an evil unicorn, and Mittens…love and romance, the battle between good and evil…
Uproariously funny with characters that stick long after the reading is done. If you love the supernatural world, this is a series you do not want to miss.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of God of Temptation by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.
Fadoodles: noun, meaning not caring about anything. A replacement for more satisfying swear words.
I have added this word to the Mimi Dictionary of Terms. Its sort of like Urban Dictionary, but with more Gods and Goddesses. Now let's get into the story.
Is this seriously the end, Miss Mimi? I can't hold back my sadness at the end of one of the most magically hysterical epics of all time. We readers finally get to see how Zac and Tula get their HEA, and in proper Author Mimi fashion, the journey is arduous and drool filled. You see, Zach is stuck in the underworld while Tula tries to find him. We also get to meet a charismatic Demon King named Maury, who insists on remaking the world in his demon name. After all, the Gods are locked up. Who's going to stop him?
Maury created the Burning Demon Festival to let his minions know what was happening, and when the minions starting chanting "Maury! Maury! Maury!" I giggled like a weirdo at the reference. Im also dying to find out what an acid house demon dance party looks like. (My imagination is running wild) Zac and Tula both struggle to find each other as obstacles get in the way constantly. But Zac listens to his heart to guide him to his mate. But it doesn't end there.
Cimil discovers a way out of the prison for her and her brothers and sisters. They get out, but nothing is simple when it cones to Cimil.
"I wonder if I should tell my brethren about the side effects of demon portals? They were notoriously tricky and didn’t work at all like the gods’ portals. Way more features . Lots of destabilizing ions. And crap-scented. Nah, why ruin things?"
Ah, Cimil. I missed you and your crazy. It was so fun to see all the Gods and Goddesses again...even K'ak. When something unexpected happens to them, its a game changer that they all have to get used to. But no Brutus, Miss Mimi?
It was a very satisfying ending after fate (or Cimil) kept tearing Zac and Tula apart. We even get a great ending for big bad Maury.
"“Excellent,”said Ixy. “Oh, side note, I did get an email from Maury. He says he hates you all and will never give up.Demons will rise again.” “How’d he get internet access?” Colel, ex-Goddess of Bees, now Goddess of Wine, asked. “We haven’t figured that out yet,” Cimil replied, “but our Uchben IT guys think one of the cell phone companies helped them develop some sort of interdimensional wireless technology.”“ "Well, we all know how evil cell phone companies are, so this makes sense,” said Ixy.
Ixy isn't wrong there. So what am I supposed to do now that one of my favorite series is over? Obsess over the other books until " The Immortal Tailor" comes out? Yea, sounds like a plan.
While I want to yell "Say it ain't so!!!" that this series has come to an end, I have to say that Zac and Tula's story was a great way to end it - or is it truly completely over?? I guess we will have to wait and see. But seriously, in this installment of this roller coaster of a series, Zac must win Tula through genuine means in a challenge against the demon king in order to save the other gods, the universe and attempting to restore normal to their world.
I had a hard time putting this book down but absolutely loved this book from page one. I was happy with how this book resolved the series but still think that this may not be the complete end for at least some of these characters. Just like all of the other books in this series this was a roller coaster of a read with the events that took place but was please with how Zac and Tula handled the obstacles that were handed to them as they fought to reunite.
Overall, this was a great read that I am sorry had to end but all good things must come to an end and this series was no exception. I recommend this book as well as this series to others.
Zac and Tula have certainly had problems getting their romance up and running and now Zac finds himself yet again wondering how on earth he's going to get back to her ! Well maybe getting back to his beloved isn't his biggest problem as not only has he lost his own gorgeous, drool worthy not to mention stop traffic body but it sure looks like someone has hijacked Tulas body too ! Is this really the end of this totally crazy and absolutely bonkers series ? Anyone who has followed these Gods and Goddesses will surely know to always expect the unexpected. Of course I wanted this couple to get their happy ever after finally but ironically its not my favourite in this fun, laugh out loud series. There are twists and turns to leave the readers head spinning and the usual mayhem that only this author can bring to the page. Please don't start with this book and I do recommend reading the Immortal Matchmakers Inc in order but to really fully immerse yourself I do think the Accidentally books that started it all are such a hoot and definitely worth a read too.
Celestial shenanigans and madcap hijinks ensue when all of the gods are banished to the underworld by demon king Maury (a name destined to strike fear in the heart of every mortal *snort*). Maury approaches Zac, god of temptation, with a get out of jaıl free card. Seven-foot, shiny-haired, buff Zac must inhabit the body of an atrociously ugly demon and once again win the heart of his beloved, Tula. Except demons don’t play fair. They lie, change the rules, and stack the deck against their opponent.
Forget everything you thought you knew about gods and their world. Sit back and get ready for a wild, crazy, hysterical ride with surprisingly flawed deity. Technically a standalone, you might get more enjoyment reading the preceding shenanigans first, but you'll love this fun, laugh-out-loud hilarious romp with these surprisingly earthy heavenly beings!
YAY!! Zac and Tulas story! The gods have disappeared and Tula is determined to find Zac. It's been nine months, and someone sends her a photo that breaks her heart, so she is determined to see if it's true, and that means going to the underworld to find Zac her love and all her other friends that have disappeared. A demon who thinks he is king makes a deal with Zac, and let's him out, but he's not in his oh so sexy body. Of course the demon double crosses him. The gods find a way out of the underworld but all their powers get mixed up. It is a crazy, funny, fast past story that will have you hooked from the warning page. My new favorite line is the universe has a place for us all... pussies included.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Wow not only dose Zac have to save the love of his life, but a rebellion thrown into the mix and a demon hell bent on taking over the world was totally genius. Crazy Cimil who loves a bargain and a thrift store but you seem to just love her anyway has to work along with the grumpy Votan to try and escape but for some reason her ideas always seen to work out in some kind of weard way and a demon hell bent on trying to steel Tula and totally trying to screw Zac over along the way. I really loved this story and seeing Zac and Tula side of things but at the same time a bit sad that its coming to an end but I cant wait to see what you have installed for us next.
Tula loves Zac. Zac loves Tula, but there’s a demon who says he wants Tula as his own. Not to mention a certain invisible critter who wants Zac as her own. It looks like the underworld is conspiring against the couple, not to mention the gods and other immortals. The world looks like it’s going to be knee deep in demons with no one to stop them. Gods, vampires, fairies (to name a few of the immortal types) and mortals all have to deal with getting the world back to normal, even if normal is a dubious word for it. All the reader can do now is find a comfy spot, curl up and read this wild book until your eyes bleed. Great read.
BTW: Do cameos come in pink? Just asking for a friend.
Zac and Tula get their story! It’s not simple and certainly not easy but they do get their forever. Zac is put to a test of epic proportions. Cimil shows she can be helpful when she wants. Everything gets a bit twisty but it’s all in the plan. This isn’t really a series you can jump into, starting from the beginning is highly recommended. I’m always thrilled to get an early copy however I never want the books to end. These characters are a hoot and continuously thrive on chaos which makes for intriguing stories.
I was smiling and laughing throughout the entire book. Cimil is trying to find a way to get the Gods out of the Underworld, before the demons take over the human world. And the love story of Tula and Zac, the God of Temptation. Plus so much more. This book is a fabulous ending book for all the Gods. It's crazy land once again with Mimi. The book is utterly humorous and entertaining at its best. If you are looking for escapism from everyday life you need to read this book. Heck, I wish I could live in Mimi's land of Gods and all crazy creatures.
In this final book in the Immortal Matchmakers (not really believing it knowing Mimi Jean), Zac and all of his fellow immortals have been locked in the Underworld by Maury, who wants to be King of the World. Tula has been searching for him and has almost reached the entrance to the Underworld. Deals are struck and, as usual, chaos ensues. The future of all Immortals rests on how Tula and Zac can find their way back to each other. This book turns everything on it’s head, stirs and the mix is hysterical! A page turner for certain!!
Kudos, another great read. What a great way to end this series. But nothing like Mimi Jean throwing in a few curveballs. Put all‘s well that ends well. Of course, there is a method to her madness. And there’s a very good lesson to be learned - beauty is superficial. True beauty is on the inside and how you treat others. And of course good always overcomes evil. Although sometimes it is good to be a little evil, just ask Cimil. Thanks for another great ride.
What can I say.... it's a Mimi Jean book. This book starts out with a bang. A true opposites attract and the ride to love is sometimes bumpy and ugly ( you'll understand later). It's fun and witty and sometimes a little outrageous but in a good way. Tula and Zac is the perfect we don't really belong together but we do story. It can be read alone but the other books in the series will give a lot of insight into this couple. The only recommendation I can give you is buy it and lock yourself away with time to spare because you won't stop until you're done.
This is the 7th and final (so Mimi says) book of the Immortal Matchmakers Inc. series. This one definitely had me laughing out loud. What an insanely hilarious story. Mimi definitely has a wicked sense of humour... I love every inappropriate piece of it. This paranormal romantic story was great. Zac and Tula were great together and I’m glad that Tula finally got what she deserved. The ending was not what I was expecting... but Mimi’s books rarely are. But I definitely loved every page of it. Fantastic read.
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review
Wow! Honestly, I'm not sure what to write because I don't like giving anything away. Much like the rest of the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. books, this is an adventure you absolutely have to take! We've seen Zac and Tula through their ups and downs, but how will it end? You'll need to read to find out. This series is one of my absolute favorites. It's entertaining with twists that leave me reeling. I highly recommend!
I blinked and it was over. Kind of like binge-watching a tv show and being so sad that it ended, you feel you have to go back and start again at the beginning. Ok, so it’s over but it’s probably not over. No cliffhanger here but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a spin-off, right? It was about time for Zac and Tula to get their ending after all they had been thru. I’m true Mimi style, we were swept up in a tornado of confusion and hilarity…who doesn’t love that? 5 stars!!
I have been waiting for this story for what feels like forever. When I first started reading Mimi's books I could not wait for Zac's story and it did not disappoint! I loved this one just like all the rest. I would defiantly recommend the entire series. This one was yet again another of my favorites. Thank you Mimi for yet another great book!
When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.
This fabulously entertaining book is downright hilarious! I loved this series and was engaged from start to finish with the developed characters, plotting, chemistry, and finally a well-deserved HEA. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Loved reading about Zac and Tula. Lies, false pretense, craziness, drama, awesome characters, chemistry, twists and turns and pnr makes for a great read.
Crazy shenanigans and mayhem abound in this latest installment of the Immortal Matchmakers series. It is a laugh a minute as Zac and Tula fight for their long awaited happily ever after. There is body swapping, smelly demons and even an appearance from Minky the psychotic unicorn. Plot twists abound and will keep you guessing right up to and even beyond the last page... Just brilliant!
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This story continues with all the stuff you expect to come from this author. Sometimes nail biting, wondering what is going to happen next, twist and turns you did not see coming, lots of amazing supporting characters and male characters with all the confidence of gods that have been around for thousands of years.
This is a crazy train of action and you cant do anything but hope that Zac and Tula get the happy ending they deserve and that the Gods manage to get free and back to their families.
Demon Maury certainly has his tricks up his sleeve and manages to confuse us, but Zac sees through him eventually and takes the right turn.
The story is told from both Zac and Tula's point of view and we see how they navigate their way through Maury's tricks and fight for their love.
The book also lets us meet the Tailor, that will have his own book and sounds an interesting character. Hopefully we will get to see more from our immortal friends.
Another mind bending and amazing book from the author.
So fun!! This whole series is amazing. Zac and Tula story was a great ending to the series. So many up and downs with twist and turns, Its funny, crazy, hilarious an all around amazing read.
The culmination of the series does not disappoint! Loved Cimil being Cimil and glad that Zac and Tula got their HEA. I highly recommend this series to any reader who wants a laugh out loud entertaining read that can be read over and over. Thanks Mimi!!
