Oh Scooby... What can I say about this story. I knew this one was going to be the one that grabbed a hold of me and I wouldn't be able to stop until the end. Boy was I right.
I could feel the torment was soul deep in Scooby over the loss of his brother, of course it didn't help that they had lost their sister not long before. Others mourned her loss as well, proving that this really is one big family. Like any family, there are spats and disagreements. The relationships between the characters are authentic. The interactions made me laugh, shake my head and roll my eyes, and of course tugged at my heart.
Definitely the yin to his yang. I loved that Scooby had to work a bit for Rowan. She didn't just roll over because he was seggs on a stick, wasn't afraid to speak her mind and set expectations. Now that said, when they did get together, it was steamy and adventurous!! I loved the book referencing and the dialog it opened. I couldn't imagine anyone better for him than Rowan. She has a heart of gold and is very much the calm and conscience to his chaos and revenge. I also liked how she opened herself up to new relationships, it is so far out of her comfort zone, but knows these people mean a lot to Scooby so she is willing to try.
And don't even get me started on the little teaser at the end...

Once I discovered Scooby was to feature as the MMC in Primal Vengeance, I had an inkling his story was going to be dark and unsettling, and it proved to be just that.
Scooby, is left reeling from his brother’s murder, at the hands of a Coloradan street-gang member, when he’s approached by a sketchy guy offering him a substantial amount of money to carryout a hit. His target, he discovers is sweet diner-owner Rowan, who’s pure and innocent, and evidently not guilty of the crime she’s being accused of.
Scooby quickly falls for Rowan, but he can’t seem to curb his desire of vengeance - and this begins to bleed into their budding relationship, tainting it and in doing so also unsettling the very vulnerable and sensitive Rowan. Scooby’s ultimate fears stem from his inability to keep the people he loves safe. Deep down Scooby is an incredibly principled and complex character, but he’s grieving, and struggling with his uncontrollable anger.
There are some heartbreaking moments in Primal Vengeance, but as a reader you don’t find yourself taking sides, rather you find yourself rooting for the HEA that these two broken characters deserve.
Primal Vengeance continues the outstanding Primal Howlers MC series, and delivers a solid five-star read.

Scooby!!! My heart broke for him when he lost his brother. And it continues to break a bit in his story. He's consumed with the need for justice, but tends to go about it in not so good ways. His brothers in the club try to help him keep it together, tho.
And then comes Rowan. She knocks him for a loop, and I love her! She has the sweetness and the steel to be a perfect fit for Scooby. And I love her doggo, also! Lord steals a bit of the show. 😁😁
A couple of things happened that I wasn't a big fan of. I understood they were necessary to the story, but I didn't like reading about them. I DID like the resolution to one of them, tho. I was worried about a particular decision Scooby had to make, but Rowan helped him thru!!
Be prepared for some 🔥🔥🔥 when these two get together, BTW. They explore some fun & interesting (and intense) things in the bedroom!!

I absolutely loved the latest book in the Primal Howlers MC series! Scooby gets approached by a very odd request and decides to do some more digging into this. He looks into the person of interest which happens to be Rowan. Rowan was a RN who was taking care of a patient and after that job was done she went and opened up a restaurant, who happens to be Scooby's person of interest. Once he sets eyes on Rowan, firstly he knows that there is no way that he is going to take this request and secondly he wants to keep her safe and protect from the threat that is lingering over her head. There are twists and turns and things that transpired that you don't expect and I loved every minute of it!! Such a great story and I was hooked from beginning to end. I can't wait for the next book in this awesome series to be here. Well done!!

Scooby has recently lost his brother Scrappy and is looking for vengeance. A man comes to him to get rid of a person for him. Scooby tells him no, but the man wires him money and gives him a flash drive with information. Rowan has lost her parents, her grandmother, and the elderly gentleman she was taking care of. She now runs a diner that is falling apart around her ears. Scooby goes to the diner to talk to her about the man who contacted him and to ask about the money he says his father gave to her. Once everything is cleared up, they start seeing each other. Can they make it work, or will past events get in the way? Come on in and find out, but watch out for the heat.

Another excellent book from one of my favorite authors
It's a given that anything Piper Davenport writes is going to be good. And as the previous five Primal Howlers were good, this one just continues the saga. I got consumed with MC stories when I read Paper's first Dogs of Fire book and I just kept going. She never seems to run out of new ways to spin a love story with a bit of intrigue, or revenge, or sometimes even murder. This group of MC brothers are as close as if they were brothers by blood and they are always close by to cover each others back. Another great read from Ms. Davenport.

This was a great MC romance!
Scooby is struggling with the loss of his brother and is out for vengeance. He is intense and absolutely sexy af biker and I could not get enough of this man! (Especially his bedroom play)
Rowan is the sweet innocent woman (who happens to have a mouth on her) She is a strong and caring heroine and I loved her in this book, and her loyal dog Lord(who has quite a big part in this book)
This book definitely includes all the spice, twist and turns, possessive alphas, and a HEA.
If you like MC romance I highly recommend giving this series a try!

Finally!
Even though each book in the series can be read as a stand alone, there were gaps in each storyline until this one!
I finally got an entire storyline that didn't have huge timeline gaps that had to be filled in from other installments.
This was my favorite also because of the interaction between the lead characters. Loved that Rowan gave Scooby fits at every turn and made him really reflect on his anger.
Looking forward to other installments from the Howlers, Saints or Dogs series. Perhaps a Los Psychosnor Spiders short series might be ahead???

Excellent read. I absolutely loved Scooby and Rowan’s story ❤️❤️❤️ they are so perfect together. He had a lot of pent up anger over losing his brother and vowed to find and kill the man responsible. He was asked to murder a woman, not that he would accept but he checked her out to see why this person would want her dead and in doing so meet his one. Their relationship is a little tumultuous at first but they worked together at making it work. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎

Oh my… Scooby is my new favorite. I couldn’t wait to dive into this book. My heart has been breaking for Scooby since we lost Scrappy and Rowan was just what the doctor ordered.
Rowan was such a fantastic character. She captured my heart from the start. I loved absolutely everything about her.
This book had everything, romance, suspense and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
This was a five star read for me.

Scooby is sitting in a bar minding his own business trying to drink himself out of the thoughts of his dead brother Scrappy when he's approached with an offer, one he couldn't believe was made. When he meets Rowan, the attraction was instant and all he wants to do now is protect her from the mark now on her head as well as hunt the guy responsible for his brother’s death.
I love the writing style of Ms Davenport, it always brings a smile to my face even in serious situations.

Scooby and Rowan are an unlikely couple. When Scooby‘s brother was murdered he was in a funk but when he is approached to take a hit out on an innocent woman he is brought out of his stupor. Rowan was a skilled nurse that gave it all up to open her own restaurant and never expected to fall for a biker who is protecting her. Rowan is perfect for Scooby because she helps mellow him and out. I just love the unexpected twists and turns in the story and I can’t wait for the series to continue!!

I enjoyed Scooby (aka Crew) and Rowan's story. I liked that Scooby didn't go through with the idea of the synopsis and that instead he formed his own opinions on the situation and instead protected Rowan. I liked all the little jokes surrounding his road name (I'm a big Scooby Doo fan) and I liked Rowan as well and the appearances of prior characters. I do wish that we got to see Scooby grovel a bit more for breaking up with Rowan, but other than that it was a decent read!

Wow, Piper has done it again!! This has to be one of my favorite couples, well probably until the next book! I absolutely loved that once he saw her, he had to have her and help her. This book had it all, romance, intrigue, suspense and laugh out loud moments. Now, when are we getting Wraith’s book??? Soon, pretty please???

Such an amazing book!!!! Scooby is apart of the Howlers. They are well respected and very well known in their area. He gets approached with a crazy request. Rowan was a highly skilled nurse that quit and opened a restaurant. She is also Scoobys mark. He goes to meet her and all bets are off. Now he wants to protect her. This book is amazing!

Loved Scooby and Rowan. And just think of the story behind how they met when they go to share that story. Really? Scooby was hired to kill Rowan. Not exactly your typical meet and fall in love. But they certainly made it work. Rowan was just what he needed, especially after the loss of his brother.

Scooby had been bitter since his brother's murder but when is approach to carry out a hit on an innocent woman he comes out of his stupor. Rowan is shelter and never expects to fall for the biker protecting her but Scooby gets under her skin. Loved this sexy and entertaining tale.

Oh how I love these biker men. They may love fast but they love hard. Exactly how I love my MC stories.
Rowan came out of nowhere for Scooby but came at the right time. She is exactly what he needed. A girl who would put him in his place and didn’t take his BS.
I did like this story but it also really got me excited for Sierra and Warth story.

One of my unexpected favourites. Scooby is so wrapped up in his hurt and looking for vengeance after the death of his brother but Roman is the perfect woman to help hold him accountable and pull him from that dark place. Really enjoyed this book and now I can’t wait for Wrath & Sierra.

Primal Howlers MC book 6. Rowan and Scooby. Scooby is full of grief and vengeance after his brother is murdered. Rowan is the focal point of some evil dudes. The MC steps in to protect her as the two fall for each other. All is fair in love and war but it is never easy. A totally fantastic read. Angsty, dramatic and smexy.

Scooby and Rowan
Another fantastic addition to an already amazing series. Scooby and Rowan are an unlikely pair but somehow these two fit perfectly together. Their road was not all roses and sunshine, there were some definite hurdles to overcome but their determination brought them to a beautiful destination. I cannot even describe how much I enjoyed this story.

I received a ARC copy of the book to read. I love the chemistry between Rowan and Scooby! I love how protective he is of her and how he is there for her even from the beginning. After reading Pipers MC books I haven't found another I liked near as much. Also the teaser concerning wrath and sierra I did not see coming.

I loved this book! Primal Vengeance was just the perfect title for this book. I have read everyone of Piper Davenports books and let me say this did not let me down! Amazing work from an amazing author!!!

I’m giving it a 5 strictly because of Scooby and the club. I cannot stand Rowan. She was may be the worse one of the heroines. She was terrible. I wonder who writes such terrible women character and yet the men be great.
It’s definitely worth the read.

Primal Vengeance
Great read! I have loved all of the Primal Howlers and this book is no exception. I love when both Hs can heal each other's demons. I highly recommend the entire series.

LOVED IT!
I seem to have lost a marble or 2! 🤔I had forgotten just how talented a writer Ms Piper is!! I got hooked on her and mister's books years ago! I have quite a few in my library but it's been a minute😥but I'm gonna find my 2 marbles and get to reading! loving her😍

Love this series
A little more raw than any other story but showed how these two struggled with their emotions. Loved the tightness of this crowd, they really are there for each other.

A vigilante biker and an anxiety ridden virgin are the latest couple in the Howler’s series when he’s approached about a murder for hire scheme that he has no intention of fulfilling. Scooby, whose brother was brutally murdered, is set on a path of anger and vengeance that is shockingly explored while he and the club protect Rowan from the continuing threat to her life. When Scooby isn’t salivating for blood he’s very protective toward Rowan which I liked but he’s definitely riding a fine line between grief and violence that is disturbing. Rowan is a sympathetic character but I couldn’t reconcile her vulnerability and her need for a therapy dog to deal with her anxiety issues with her totally uncharacteristic and bizarre participation in BDSM roll play days after losing her virginity. And naming a big bad biker dude after a cartoon dog juxtaposed with his thirst for vengeance was a step too far for me. There was no way I could believe that the club would go along with Scooby going rogue and risking the safety of their loved ones without serious consequences. I could go on but I’m not inclined to waste any more of my time on this crazy.

Primal Vengeance by Piper Davenport – This one took me a bit to get into it because there was quite a bit of set up! Once it got into the flow, it was a lot of fun (and violence, but what’s new with this MC?)! Happy Reading!
