Harley-Davidson mechanic Vaughn Rogers is not exactly thrilled when his boss asks him to work on a motocross bike. His preference is shiny chrome and big bikes, not little bitty dirt bikes. But the pixie-girl with the little bike adds up to one big attraction.
She’s not his sweetheart…
What Gabby Johnston lacks in height, she makes up for with her fierce competitive spirit on a motocross race track. But now, a series of problems with her beloved Kawasaki has her father calling in a favor with Vaughn’s boss. Sure, sparks fly when Gabby’s around Vaughn, but she’s more interested in what he can do with sparkplugs.
From sweet to heat…
Vaughn’s kissed dozens of women without it meaning anything, but one touch of Gabby’s lips gets his motor running like never before. But no matter what he tries, Gabby’s bike isn’t responding with the same fire as its sweetheart of an owner. Everything’s on the line: Gabby’s shot at a national racing team, the last of the family money, and Vaughn’s credibility. After a terrifying incident, it looks as if Gabby’s life may be in danger, too. Is Gabby just not cut out for the big time, or is someone determined to get her off the race track permanently?
Tracey’s writing has been described as “vivid” and “gut-wrenchingly beautiful” and has been accused of making readers cry. All of which makes her heart feel ten times bigger because (despite having the appearance of a got-it-together business owner) she’s a hopeless romantic who believes that love—in all its many forms—truly makes the world go round.
Get swept away by wounded, flawed and vulnerable heroes (and the women who love them).
Join strong heroines on their riveting journeys through loss, forgiveness and self-realization.
Hang onto the edge of your seat through action-packed adventure and drama.
And most of all, escape into the combustible combination of ‘slow burn’ sensual pleasure and true love!

Tracey is a former Army combat medic and EMT. When not writing (or working part-time to support her writing habit), Tracey enjoys riding her motorcycle (which she affectionately calls ‘Black Widow’); spending time at the lake with family; and watching her favorite soccer teams (which include her kids’).
She lives on a 3-acre oasis in small-town Minnesota with a small menagerie of critters, an infinitesimally understanding hubby, and two almost-grown children who put up with the ‘embarrassment’ of a motorcycle-riding, romance writing mom!
Short romance set in competitive motorcycle racing. Sassy Gabby rides dirt bikes in a sport dominated by men. Grumpy loner, Vaughn, a Harley mechanic, is persuaded by her father to get to the bottom of issues with her competition bike that have recently dogged her competitions. I enjoyed the by-play between the two protagonists, but found the story a bit disappointing. The mystery of who is sabotaging Gabby’s bike does hook the reader, but this would be much better as a full-length novel. This would also give the reader time to get to know the characters better and develop what is a good original plot idea.
This is a short insta-love romance, set in competitive motorcycle racing. Gabby rides dirt bikes and is determined to succeed in a man's sport despite all the prejudice and the bullying. Vaughn is a grumpy mechanic, persuaded to help her get to the bottom of issues with her bike. He’s a typical male forced to reconsider his views on her, the sport and life in general. I loved the chemistry and the banter between the two main characters, but I’m a little disappointed by the lack of story development, especially since I found the story line as good, different, original.
Fun but very short almost insta love story, note only half the book is the actual story the rest is excerpts of other books hence only 3 stars. I enjoyed the characters and Gabby's determination to succeed in a man's sport despite the prejudice and bullying. Vaughn was a typical male forces to reconsider his views! Wow. What an amazing story. I have never read any of the books in the series but am so glad I found it. Gabby isn’t your typical biker girl but Vaughn is your normal biker guy. When she starts having problems racing he not only tries to help her but maybe find something so much more. I could not put this book down. Absolutely amazing.
3.5 Stars Fast insta-love story. Could have been a 5 if the author had taken a little more time developing the story. The story line was good and different. Main characters come off as young even though the H said he'd been riding a motorcycle for 15 years. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is my first experience of this author and an enjoyable one. The story was well written and kept me interested. Will definitely look out for more from this author.

This book was well on the way to being a 4/4.5 star book, but then fell short on all that it promised.
Gabby races motocross and Vaughn works at a shop that fixes motorcycles and looks at Gabby’s bike as a favor to his boss. Fixes it to have it break down again. The perpetrator comes clean after Gabby almost loses her life.
And I think they get a happy ending in this stand-alone book in a series.
There was no indication Vaughn was in a motorcycle club nor that they were really opposites. And the book just ended with no real wrap-up and left the reader wondering what else is to come. Then it’s over at less than 50%! I’m all for promoting your other works, but it made up half the book. There was so much promise to the premise of the book and it fell a bit flat.
