Stephanie Ketterman's only daughter, Sarah, thought her days living in Bluebird Bay were over. Married only two years, living in Washington DC, and on the cusp of an amazing career in law, she had the next decade planned out to a T. When she suddenly realizes she is bitterly unhappy and may have left Bluebird Bay in order to escape the pain of losing her father at such a young age, she returns. Solo. Can she tear it all down and build something new...something that truly brings her joy, or will her fear of failing again keep her from even trying to find happiness?
Fallyn Rappaport has tried her darnedest not to let David Shaw pull her back into the world of investigating, but she's finding it harder and harder to say no. Both to the juicy new case he is working on, and to David himself...
Christine Gael is the women's fiction writing alter-ego of USA Today Bestselling contemporary romance author, Christine Bell, and NYT Bestselling paranormal romance author, Chloe Cole.
Getting to know more of the Sullivan sisters’ children is always fantastic and I identify a lot with Sarah. Her story had me hooked, alternating between empathy and frustration before putting a big smile on my face.
The escape room scene was all sorts of awesome.
And Fallyn is such a great addition to the series! The last two books had me on the edge of my seat during her and David’s investigation. Amazing all around.
But the medal goes to the hook at the end, which makes me wait for the next book with great impatience!
Great characters, family ties and interesting changes and relationships make these books great. As the author brings in more characters she creates new situations yet continues updating other characters and what happens in their lives. I recommend reading the whole series. Great base family relationships brought through lots of changes and other new characters you will meet crossover into their lives.
Such a good read. I was in it from the first couple of sentences of course the previous books helped solidify most of my interest. This book was just as interesting as all the others. I had to keep reading. I feel like i have a vested interest. The characters have developed a place in my heart. I hope there is more to come. I lo e this bookand all the others. Very well written. I recommend.
I loved reading Finding Comfort and as with all the previous Bluebird Bay series , Christine Gael spins a heart warming story about family. I enjoyed getting to know Sarah and Adam and I'm excited to find out what their future might be. I especially enjoyed the suspence surrounding David and Fallyn while they solved the cat burglary case. Can't wait to see what happens in book 10 and how it will affect Cee-cee's children.
This series is like reading your favorite TV show drama. The books mostly focus on 1 (sometimes 2) characters finding their way to or through a relationship but it's also showing all the past characters. The mysteries, the families, and the individual relationships keep developing and building. I love it! Definitely not a stand-alone but connected series, but a must start at the beginning and not skip around. Can't wait for more!
4 stars for Finding Comfort: A Bluebird Bay Novel. Things never seem settled with the Sullivan sisters. Stephanie's daughter, Sarah, has returned and is hiding the fact that she is divorcing her husband. CeeCee still suspects her ex Nate of being involved in a murder from many years ago. Fallayn is busy helping PI David investigate a cat burglar. What's next?
A new character is introduced in this Bluebird Bay series, which unleashes a mystery from the past. I love how the author intertwined a long ago disappearance of a young girl, into the present, and with it more secrets were revealed. I am eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this saga!
Oh my gosh! I have four kids and never get to sit and read until this week because I’m on vacation. I laugh out loud and cry and smile throughout her books. It’s light hearted, a good read for anyone who wants to get lost in a story but not deal with the big uglys of the world.
What plot twists for sure. I love that things are working out for both Sarah and Fallyn in all aspects of their lives. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
Like every other Blueberry Bay book, the characters are very real, the situations are very real, and the books are very good. I am looking forward to the next book.
Each Bluebird Bay story has more than one focus, so you get two stories for the price of one. I love this series so much. Can't wait for the next book.
I love how each book is getting better and better. The mystery is getting more intriguing not that it wasn’t before. Can’t wait to see what happens next
