The Snowman's Sweetheart was a short, cute and sweet read.
I've enjoyed reading about Sierra and Kylan and their love at first sight,I was hooked from beginning to end.

Sierra hates all festive things since her boyfriend broke her heart on Christmas Eve, but she didn't know that there was a Winter Festival in Pinehill before she booked a relaxing weekend with her best friend there. When she finds out she becomes surly until she bumbs in a stranger's chest. Kylan is considered the Mr. Snowman of the little town, he owns a Christmas Tree farm and gift shop. Will he make Sierra enjoy her weekend?

Sierra and Kylan fell instantly in love but their relationship doesn't feel rushed. They feel instantly connected, but their friendship gradually grows, destroying their emotional defenses little by little.

I recommend it, but I would've been really happy to read an epilogue about our lovely couple.

Sierra hates Christmas and doesn't want any Christmas decorations in their apartment. Jenn, who is Sierra's roommate and best friend doesn't put any out. She wants to give Sierra time to get over the fact that Christmas is not her favorite time of year anymore. So when the two decide to go on a 5 day vacation to Pine Hill in January, Sierra agrees.

The morning that they are getting ready to go, Rob, Jenn's boyfriend informs them that he is going with them. He wasn't sure that he could get the time off. Now Sierra isn't sure about this trip. Then when they get to Pine Hill and she sees its all still decked out for Christmas.

Every book I read by Shanna Hatfield is filled with great characters, an awesome storyline and has always been an amazing read. This one was such a great read that I could not put it down and read it in one afternoon.

With a long weekend ahead of them Jenn and Sierra are packed and ready to go. Unbeknownst to Sierra, Jenn’s boyfriend is going with them. Talk about uncomfortable! Just how is Sierra going to cope with being the ‘third wheel’? Things could get interesting.

Wonderful whirlwind winter romance!
When Sierra joins her friend for a long, weekend getaway, she has no idea that love is about to find her and warm her chilly heart.

This book is yet another wonderful story by the talented Shanna Hatfield. The characters are amazing, the location enchanting, and the story heartwarming. All I want to do is take a plane to Pinehill and stay there forever!

Highly recommend this sweet read.

This is a sweet love at first sight romance. It doesn’t feel rushed though because you see the two get to know each other through the time they spend together. The town the book is set in sounds wonderful. Overall it is a warm fuzzy read.

The Snowman's Sweetheart is the first book in the Winter Wishes series written by Shanna Hatfield. Okay okay, i'm sorry guys, I know it's February and I said I wouldn't read Christmas books until July or December, but surprise, I read a Christmas book. This book was so cute and just gave me all the Christmas vibes, snow, building snowmen, slush, ski mountains, and reindeer. This was such a fun and sweet novella to read. This book angered me to a certain extent, how do you ruin someone's Christmas? Like the dude in this book sure did have some audacity, like I truly just wanted to slap that stupid silly grin right off of his face. I was instantly hooked from the very first page, it was just so good. There were a few delicious treats mentioned, so don't read this book on an empty stomach. The Snowman's Sweetheart was such a cute and festive holiday read, I totally recommend this book to anyone who loves Christmas as much as I do. There were so many clever ideas in this little novella, like for example, the characters wrote a wish on a piece of paper and then it was put into a snowball to be added on to a giant snowman, then when the snowman melts their wishes come true, like damn, that's so festive. I can't wait to read the second book of this series.

Sierra Goodwin absolutely hates anything to do with Christmas. It used to be one of her favorite holidays, but after a Christmas Eve catastrophe, Sierra's heart has been encased in ice. Best friends and roommates, Jenn and Sierra have been planning on a getaway for the weekend, but when Jenn and Sierra are all packed up and heading to their car, Sierra finds out that Jenn's boyfriend, Rob will be tagging along, Sierra feels like a third wheel, how do you think that's going to workout? Sierra and Jenn live in Portland, Oregon, but plan on going to Pinehill, Oregon for their little getaway. Sierra doesn't have a problem with Rob at all, in fact she thinks he's perfect for her best friend, but Sierra just wanted to have a girls weekend with Jenn. After the catastrophe happened, Jenn and Sierra won't even put any Christmas decorations up in their little apartment. Things go from bad to worse when Sierra, Jenn, and Rob arrive in Pinehill to find a winter fest in full swing.

Rob, Jenn, and Sierra decide to go have pizza for dinner, but once Sierra gets the wrong pizza, she wants nothing to do with this town anymore, let alone there's a winter fest happening. Sierra decides to head back to their hotel alone, but on her way back she runs into this handsome stranger, a man everyone in town calls Mr. Snowman, hint hint the title of the book. Sierra discovers her heart might not be a frozen fortress after all. Now, let's get a little background of why Sierra hates anything to do with Christmas. Sierra's ex fiance broke up with her in the most humiliating way. Hunter broke up with Sierra on Christmas Eve after she confronted Hunter for messing around with his secretary at a Christmas party. Sierra and Hunter were supposed to have a spring wedding, but that's instantly cut and thrown away, once Sierra catches Hunter cheating on her. I absolutely loved and adored Rob and Jenn for being there with Sierra and supporting her in whatever she chose to do with her life, but secretly I think this trip will help, just read the book and you'll find out why.

Alright, let's talk about this handsome cowboy stranger Sierra ran into on her way out of the pizza parlor. Kylan Snow aka Mr. Snowman, loves his life, his Christmas tree farm, his reindeer, and the town of Pinehill where he was raised. There's nothing more Kylan enjoys more than spending a beautiful winter afternoon outside in the crisp and fresh air. When Kylan runs into Sierra in need of a little hope, Kylan and Sierra have no idea one weekend spent with each other will completely alter their world. Sierra and Kylan start spending more and more time together, they go to the feed store, Sierra gets introduced to his reindeer, Kylan gives Sierra a little tour of the town in Pinehill, lord oh lord, Sierra instantly falls in love with this town and this handsome cowboy, it was so adorable. Nothing was rushed, it all worked out perfectly. The title of this book fits the story well. Please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this series quickly. Can I find a perfect handsome cowboy on Amazon who absolutely adores Christmas? If any of you find out, let me know.

Sometimes you just need a romance that makes you want to pick up and move to the closest small town near you. This is that romance. I literally started to think of small towns within driving distance that I could go to, so I could find my Mr. Snowman and live happily ever after. It was such a cute and fluffy read, so low angst as to make it completely unbelievable and yet I loved it anyway. I feel like this should be optioned for Hallmark, and I'm a little surprised that it doesn't appear to be. Someone at Hallmark is clearly sleeping on the job. Wake up, Hallmark team! You have yourself a winner here.

Sierra Goodwin has hated Christmas, and the winter holiday season in general, ever since her fiance broke up with her on Christmas Eve at his office holiday party. Ever since then even the sight of a Christmas tree makes her want to run in the opposite direction. She thinks she's safe going with her roommate and her roommate's boyfriend to the small town of Pinehill in the middle of January - surely they have moved on from Christmas, right? Wrong. So wrong. The town is on the verge of their annual Winter Fest, and the holiday decorations are still alive and well. There's even a mini tree in her hotel room. The town is crowded, her boots that the shop swore were waterproof are soaked through, and she's ready to go home after just a few hours. Until she runs into Kylan Snow, or Mr. Snowman as the townspeople like to call him. Warm and friendly, he brightens her spirits considerably, and soon they're spending all their spare time together. Slowly the magic of the season is warming Sierra's frozen heart. But her time is short and she eventually needs to go home. Is five days really enough for them to make a connection strong enough to survive long distance? Or will this only be a holiday fling, before they each go back to their lives?

I'll be honest - normally romance stories with zero angst have me worried. They'll be boring, predictable, and I'll find myself waiting to finish so I can move on to something with more spice. However, that wasn't the case at all with this book! I was eager to keep reading, to see how their relationship developed, and I found myself forgetting that only a few days had passed in the story. Their connection felt soul-deep, and I had no problem whatsoever believing that their romance was built to last. Granted, I felt the ending was wrapped up a little too neatly, but again, sometimes you need a romance like that. Make me believe in soulmates, miracles and things that are meant to be. I love it! In a world of missed opportunities, it's nice to see two people who take what life has to offer and say anything is possible. Also, Kylan was just an absolute sweetheart, and his life was a literal dream. He owns a Christmas tree farm, complete with reindeer and an antique shop. He ANTIQUES. As a fellow antiquer, I fell in love on the spot. I was already halfway in love already, but the antiques sealed the deal. Now where can I find a man like that? I just need the name of the town, and I will go make my happy ever after happen.

This was the first book I read by this author, and it will certainly not be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I can't wait to read her next small town romance.

**I received a free copy via NetGalley and this is my honest review.**

This is one of the sweetest and fun stories I have read. It involves friends going to a resort hotel in a town only one has been too and it is the winter obviously.
First it was supposed to be the two women friends who lived together and have planned a fun weekend away and they couldn’t wait. But one of the woman’s boy-friend shows up and it is unexpected. The other friend didn’t want to go if she is hanging out with a couple, but they talk her into it.

The town is near the ski resort at Mt. Hood in Oregon in the town of Pinehill. Its also Christmas time and they were going to attend a festival and just have some winter fun, only one of the is hating Christmas right now. Everywhere you look, is Christmas and it is driving one of them crazy as her fiancé broke up with her the Christmas before and she is not in the mood at all. When they get there and checked in to the posh hotel where the girls are staying and the boyfriend is staying with his cousin who owns a Christmas tree farm.
They go to eat at a pizza place, and the one on her own leaves she runs into a very handsome cowboy and they start talking. He just happens to be the other guy’s cousin. Anyway, this is just about the sweetest story for Christmas, and I enjoyed it very much. This is the first book in a new series by this author and as usual its fantastic.

I urge you to get this book and read it all in one night because you can’t put it down. Get some hot chocolate and something great to snack on, curl up in your favorite reading chair and fall into the story of fun, past heartache that goes away quickly, Christmas lights and a festival of all kinds of things like ice carving competition, snowman making competition and all kinds of fun and a Christmas tree farm that has a whole lot more. Two couples, one already in love and the other fast falling for each other. Just the kind of book that you want right now,.
I received a copy from the author to read, but this review is all mine and I wanted to write it because the story is so good. You won’t be sorry you got this book.

The Snowman’s Sweetheart begins the Winter Wishes series with a sweet, lovely, unexpected romance between Sierra, a woman who (for her own good reasons) detests the holiday season with a passion usually reserved for mass murderers, and Kylan, a man who loves the Christmas season, has a Christmas tree farm (he delivers Christmas trees in various costumes) and is completely blindsided by an attractive out-of-towner during Pinehills Winter Festival.

I completely enjoyed myself in this series opener as Sierra and Kylan discover that love can happen in a very short time, even when one person’s heart needs a major attitude adjustment, and to see the holiday season in a far different light. The fact that our surly, truly unhappy heroine literally bumped into our hero at their first meeting had me chuckling right from the start. Watching Kylan slowly melt Sierra’s heart over a few days was a fun, entertaining journey.

Their story is full of laughter, shenghanians, and friendship, all mixed together with a bit of Christmas magic. If that’s your kind of Christmas Romance, then you’re going to love The Snowman’s Sweetheart by Shanna Hatfield. Just because a series is a few years old is no reason to pass by a truly enjoyable romance that will quickly capture your heart. Anyways, a book or a series, no matter how long ago it was first published, is still new to me when I first encounter it. Check this one out for loads of Holiday cheer!

What was supposed to be a mid-winter fun get-away twosome for Sierra Goodwin with her best friend Jenn turns out to be a threesome when Jenn’s fiancé is suddenly invited along. Their destination: Pinehill, a quaint mountain town near Mount Hood. They arrive in the midst of the village’s annual Winterfest. Things went downhill from there. Poor Sierra was still reeling from the humiliation and betrayal of her ex-boyfriend right during a previous Christmas and the reminders of that holiday were everywhere in Pinehill! Nursing her misery, who should she run smack into but the man everyone in town calls “Mr. Snowman,” Kylan Snow. Can Ky break through Sierra’s Christmas holiday depression and open up her broken heart to a new relationship? Ky is immediately taken with the dimple-cheeked beauty and he pursues her with all he has. With all of the Winterfest activities in full swing, it doesn’t take long for Ky to realize there is something very special about Sierra, who he playfully tags “Miss Frosty.” Can these two, in less than a week, overcome both of their past disappointments and heartbreaks in order to realize what they have is magical? No author sells a romance of this type like Shanna Hatfield. This reviewer recently learned that this was her 100th book and first in a new series entitled Winter Wishes. So, I expected something special and it certainly was!

Bundle up for some wintertime love.
The Christmas holiday has passed. After a humiliating breakup a year before, Sierra has not been in the mood for anything jolly or bright.
When her best friend and roommate Jenn declares they need a girls' weekend away, a change of scenery, Sierra is looking forward to new energy.

However, their girls' weekend to a snowy get-away turns into an extended Christmas festival with an extra person, Jenn's boyfriend. He's a great guy, but this is not the energy Sierra was looking forward to. On the bright side, he has family in the area and won't be sharing their hotel room.

Bundle up indeed, as the beautiful descriptions will leave you chilled. I suggest this as a beach read or curled up on a comfy couch with your favorite blanket in front of a fire.
I am not a winter festival fan myself, in person, but I really wanted to join in the fun.
Building snowmen, sledding and sleigh rides, and all the great tastes of the season!

I fell in love with the main "snowman" at first bump.
There is a secondary character mentioned who I hope becomes the focus of a book of his own.
Curl up, stay warm and fall in love.

This is a new author for me and the start of a new series. I enjoyed it so much I hate waiting for book 2 in the Pinehill series!

Sierra and her best friend are headed to a 5 day spa vacation . At the last minute Rob, Jenn's boyfriend joins them. He's staying with his cousin Ky who's known as Mr Snowman.

Well as you can imagine Ky and Sierra hit it off and feel an immediate connection. What I enjoyed was that they built a friendship and didn't jump into a sexual relationship. Both Ky and Sierra have had disastrous previous relationships and are cautious.

As their vacation comes to a close, although they admit the closeness they just can't figure how to make it work long distance so they part. Flash ahead a couple of months to Valentine's Day and there's a surprise waiting for Sierra when Ky rings her doorbell. You're going to want to read it to find out what happens. It will be worth it.

I received a Free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions

If anyone is looking for a Hallmark-esque holiday movie in book form, then I would read The Snowman’s Sweetheart by Shanna Hatfield.
It’s an adorable, quick, opposites attract, where the holiday Grinch of a heroine finds love at first sight when she literally runs into the small town’s holiday lover of a hero nicknamed Mr. Snowman.
Pinehill seems like the perfect town full of holiday spirit along with continuous charming winter filled events that bring out the cheer in family, friends, neighbors & maybe even the holiday Grinch.
I personally want to go visit this fictional town. & this was the perfect dose of holiday cheer I needed. I would also be interested in reading Bo’s story!
The ending was a little much for my logical leaning brain, but I suppose when you know, you know. & cheers to love!

Snowman fun

This was such a great book. Shanna has once again P put her heart and soul into a book and we get to reap the reward of having a fantastic read.
Filled with great characters , location and fun it makes you want to visit today (ok maybe not if you are not a fan of cold) but you get my meaning.
Sierra a young woman who is hurt by a prior relationship, Ky who lives in the middle of nowheresville (term used in the book), who is also a wounded heart and soul. You could feel the chemistry between these two. I loved the sincerity of their conversations. Even though they have just met they were into deep convo immediately. Short term first meeting but they went for the important things to know about each other.
A sweet, clean read that I highly recommend. Have not been disappointed by anything Shanna has written, you want be either.

Another fun story by Shanna Hatfield, and I loved learning about the inspiration for the plot and various scenes that was included at the end. I live in a small town/village and the author effectively captured the flavor where everyone knows each other. The premise of a winter festival was very fun and made me wish I was there. I love how the hero, appropriately named Kylan Snow totally embraced his heritage of owning a Christmas tree farm (including reindeer!) and gift shop with mix of new and antique, especially the “vintage items,” one of which my grandmother owned. Sierra’s roommate Jenn was a great “foil,” pushing her just enough out of her comfort zone. It was handy that her boyfriend was Kylan’s cousin, and they had a fun relationship, close and teasing, but serious when necessary. A light easy read that I finished in an afternoon.

This is another wonderful romantic story from Shanna Hatfield. A woman who hates anything Christmas because her boyfriend broke up with her and humiliated her in front of his whole office on Christmas Eve, finds herself at a winter festival in a town that loves Christmas. Enter a handsome cowboy that everyone calls "Mr. Snowman" because of his love for anything winter and Christmas. They literally bump into each other on the street and both of them can't seem to get the other one out of their minds. One things leads to another and Sierra regains her Christmas spirit. There are reindeer, sleigh rides, snow carvings and naturally a snowman building contest. i loved all of the characters and look forward to more stories from Pineville

Such a sweet story. Sierra wants nothing to do with the holidays and is glad that it is over. But, when she and Jenn go for a short vacation, Christmas decorations are everywhere. She used to love the season, but after her ex broke up with her publicly on Christmas Eve, she hasn't wanted the reminder. But once she runs into a man as she is coming out of a restaurant, she is changing her mind. When Ky's cousin comes to town with his girlfriend and her roommate, he finds that he is very attracted to the roommate. Sierra is everything he wants in a woman. Too bad she lives in the city, and he lives in the country. Sierra realizes that Ky is everything she wants but isn't sure he wants her the same way. They have only known each other a few days, how can it be love? Will she stay?

When Shanna Hatfield sets out to write a romantic, winter- wonderland story, she holds nothing back. Her description of Pinehill, Oregon, had me wanting to spend a week's vacation in this fun-festive, whimsical town.

Rob and Jenn were the best matchmakers, who truly did not have to work to get Ky and Sierra together.
Ky and Sierra were the perfect pair, who did not know they were missing their other half.
Sometimes the magic of the season is all two people need, to see what they have in front of them.

Ms. Hatfield is such an amazing author, who's books comfort me, do not stress me, and leaving me believing in true love. The Mr. Snowman’s Sweetheart is a must read for every hopeless romantic.

Congratulation to her on this 100th book, she has graced all of us, the joy of reading.

I loved the Snowman's sweetheart, Sierra and Ky were such a great couple, both kind and loyal and honest and really Ky was the epitome of a gentlemen. I liked how the changes in Sierra's heart gradually took place as she spent more time with Mr. Snowman, realizing that she was letting past hurts keep her from living and enjoying the present. I liked how they both made to the discovery that sometimes love means taking a risk and putting your heart on the line. As always I loved the secondary characters and hope to see more from them in the future as well as more Pinehill, it seems like the perfect place to live and raise a family, full of community and well meaning neighbors.

Loved this book! Kylan loves winter, Christmas, snow; which is good since his whole life and livelihood are based on it. Sierra no longer enjoys the holidays due to a breakup a year before. But when the two of them meet during a winter festival, Sierra discovers that her aversion to all things winter may not be as strong as she thought. I really liked the story and how the relationship between Ky and Sierra grew as they spent time together. The winter festival seemed so fun and made me want to find one and participate in all the great activities!

I received an ARC of this book and this review is my own opinion.

Sierra hates Christmas and Winter. Her friend Jenn talks her into a weekend away to the town of Pineville. Unknown to Sierra Jenn's boyfriend Rob is also going!! Pinehill is bursting with Christmas and a weekend Winter fest celebration!! Sierra literally bumps into Mr. Snowman himself leaving a restaurant and later finds out that not only is he over Winter Fest celebration, but he is known as Mr. Snowman and he is Rob's cousin!!! Sierra is soon attending the activities and becomes involved in helping. Will KY Snow, ( Mr. SNOWMAN) turn her cold heart to loving Christmas and winter again?

This reader stayed up most of the night reading this delightful holiday romance. Living in a small resort town with many winter activities, I enjoyed the winter setting. Yes, in SW Michigan we have lots of slushy snowy cold days. Our community's Christmas decorations stay up through Ice Fest in February. With my German heritage, I enjoyed the scrumptious authentic meal at Otto's. The Snowman's Sweetheart is a well-crafted, sweet contemporary, winter romance with delightful characters, twist and turn plot, real life complications, and a believable resolution to Happily Ever After. Well done, Shanna Hatfield and thank you for giving us the story behind the story in the Author's Notes.

Sienna has been in a grump for a year after her fiance dumped her. She has been looking forward to a weekend away, just her and her flatmate Jenn. But, a last minute addition of Jenn's boyfriend changes everything, especially when it means hanging out with his cousin, Kylan.
This was such a sweet story, pure romance with lots of juicy tidbits along the way. And real live reindeer - really what could be better! I thoroughly loved it and it was a perfect read to distract from the world around us. I’m hoping that there might be more stories set in the winter wonderland town of Pinehill as it sounds like a wonderful place to disappear to (in a book) and to explore.
