Peter Marshall has had enough of working for Parks and Rec when he comes across an opening for a real carpentry job and decides to give it a go. Building things is his passion, so even though the shop seems a little out there, and the owner seems pretty grumpy, Peter decides to go for it.
Brandon McPhail wishes he didn’t have to hire a new carpenter, but his current one is going out on maternity leave. He’s especially wary of this kid who can’t possibly be old enough to spell BDSM, let alone know what the lifestyle means. But Peter impresses Brandon with both his talent and his tenacity, so Brandon hires him on, reminding himself that he’s in a wheelchair due to his MS, he had a terrible experience in his last relationship, and despite how clueless Peter is about the lifestyle, he’s not interested in taking on another sub.
The chemistry between them is undeniable, though, and it’s not long before they’re exploring what they can learn from each other. Peter is a natural at fulfilling Brandon’s needs, and Brandon thinks he’s teaching Peter everything he’s eager to learn, but when danger threatens, they have to help their friends through it while trying to navigate their new relationship. Can they forge bonds strong enough to bind them together for life?
Note to readers: Each book in this series is a true standalone, so don't be confused when you discover that Hide Bound takes place before Just Dex in the "timeline". That was deliberate, and you don't need to have read one to read the other.
JODI spent too many years in New York and San Francisco stage managing classical plays, edgy fringe work, and the occasional musical. She, therefore, is overdramatic, takes herself way too seriously, and has been known to randomly break out in song. Her men are imperfect but genuine, stubborn but likable, often kinky, and frequently their own worst enemies. They are characters you can’t help but fall in love with while they stumble along the path to their happily ever after.
For those looking to get on her good side, Jodi’s addictions include nonfat lattes, Malbec and tequila however you pour it. She’s also obsessed with Shakespeare and Broadway musicals. She can be found wearing sock monkey gloves while typing when it’s cold, and on the beach enjoying the sun and the ocean when it’s hot. When she’s not writing and/or vacuuming sand out of her laptop, Jodi mentors queer youth and will drop everything for live music. Jodi lives near New York City with her beautiful wife, and together they are mothers of dragons (cleverly disguised as children) and slaves to an enormous polydactyl cat.
I really enjoyed this one, it had a lot of things I really enjoy reading about in books. Plus it was hot, which is always a plus in my book.
Brief summary Peter is looking for a job as a carpenter and he goes for a job interview with Brandon who does custom furniture and leatherwork for all things BDSM. They start working together and there is a spark between them. They also are attracted to each other and they fall on love.
First, Brandon has MS and he is a wheelchair user and I really liked how that was described and how we got to see the MS affected his life in different ways, thats something that I really enjoy reading about in books and it was done nicely in this one.
Second, I really enjoyed both characters and I loved they were described and how nicely they fit together. I really liked how the BDSM was done in the book and how the power exchange was shown. I liked how Peter didn’t know he was a sub before they met but took easily to everything and how much he enjoyed submitting to Brandon. I liked how nice but also dominating Brandon was, he was a really nice dom and he always made sure that Peter felt safe and cared for. Also they had a lovely chemistry and worked very well together.
Also the sex scenes in this book were super hot and I really loved them. And I really appreciated the take on BDSM this book took, it was mostly about bondage, deprivation and piercings and I really enjoyed it all.
Third, I love piercings. And I love reading about characters who have piercings or who gets them done during books, so they fact that they both had piercings and that Peter got multiple piercings during the book really worked for me. I must admit that I felt a little uncomfortable when Peter got multiple genital piercings in the same day and then Brandon gave him an hand job the day after. I know that books are not meant to be too realistic but I just couldn’t help but think about how that much that would hurt, but thats probably becauae I have piercings myself and I would have cried if someone touched them the day after I got them done. Plus since piercings are open wounds, touching them this much the day after he got them done just feels a little unsanitary to me.
Fourth, another little thing, this book had a little too many scenes with side characters for me, I just don’t really like side characters in books and I prefer spending time with the main characters instead of the side characters.
All in all I really enjoyed this one and I really enjoyed how the BDSM was done, I was a big fan of that.
I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.
Peter needed a job, so he applied at the Hide Bound shop, which turns out to be as a carpenter for the BDSM community. Little did each man know that they would discovery more than they ever could have imagined. Pete/Peter, 20s, shaggy dark hair, tatts and piercings, is an awesome carpenter. He's on the cover with light hair, so that's how I pictured him. Brandon/Bran, 40ish, a dominant in a wheelchair with MS, is an excellently skilled leather worker, etc. He's muscled with long hair. His female carpenter is having a baby, hence the job is available.
Pete and Brandon work well together with several projects right away. Pete is amazed at the BDSM carpentry and leather products they make. Pete is lovely in his admiration, and curiosity, which draws him in.
Together they learn, relax, are happy and begin to have sexy times. Pete is a sublime sub for Brandon. Their new times are "light" BDSM. They meet people and are able to help Pete's roommate who was beaten. Brandon calls in community friends to help.
Pete and Brandon's work is impressive, and it's fun to watch their relationship slowly grow, with tenderness, love and care. Pete has finally found what he's needed all along. Brandon finally gets someone to care for and live their best lives.
The BDSM descriptions are wonderful, eye-opening, meaningful and well played. We learn about the lifestyle also.
The characters are terrific, the hot sex and BDSM play is sizzling, and we get deep thoughtful, strong love as a result. The Hide referred to in the title is the projects woodwork being bound in leather, but also they are bound in their work. A very good BDSM read.
Such a beautiful story about finding your own place in love. Peter is a young person trying to find his path. Brandon has a disease that is going to make it harder for him and needs help in his shop. I had so many feelings come from all of the characters in this story.
This is a solid 2.5-star with plenty of room for improvement. First off, I did like the MCs and they were very sweet together. I also appreciated the MS rep without making the story all about hurt/comfort.
The biggest thing that would instantly improve this book is better editing. -A variation of wink/winked is used 42 times in 269 pages, which means someone is winking almost every six pages. I’m not sure how often y’all have people wink at you in your real life, but sheesh. -There are numerous typos and proofreading errors that could be caught by an editor (“What do want to teach me first?” or “He that wasn’t something he would have expected in a Dom.”) in addition to continuity errors that also could be picked up by an editor (he tries on a harness early in the book and later it says it was a corset) -There are factual errors that require too much suspension of disbelief for me. One MC gets , so this just totally felt off the wall to me.
I would give an additional warning for those who prefer to read BDSM where there is specific, detailed consent and discussions around limits. In this, the characters agree to work it out as they go and just safeword if they don’t like it, there are no contracts/explicit discussions about limits/etc.
All that aside, I would normally rate a book 2 for the serious issues above, but I enjoyed the characters so much I rounded up to a 3. I would encourage the authors to use an editor next time and the next in the series will be much stronger!
The relationship between Peter and Brandon was special and a perfect match. There are 3 books in this series, and I believe each can easily be read as a stand-alone, but they are better if read in order, since previous characters meander through the stories. I had previously read book #1,Just Dex. In that book, we had met Peter and Brandon as Peter had visited Brandon's leather shop. In this book, we get to learn how they met and became that perfect couple. We also get to revisit Cyrus and learn about his life before he met Dex. I don't really understand the title of this series, since there is little to do with Les's Bar...but Les is a character and the bar is visited once in a while in each book. The book itself generally feels good because there is so much love, respect, between the two men. These authors really handle the kink element well...and though the readers may not wish to take up the lifestyle, they do learn that it's not as overwhelming as it sounds.
I love these characters. Having met Cy before (JustDex) it was good to see him again. This book comes chronologically before the first book in this series and can really stand on its own. It’s telling the story of how Brandon and Peter met. These characters are simply lovely. Brandon is so confident and aware while Peter is uncertain but oh so eager to learn. I love how he comes out of his shell during this book as he gains confidence from Brandon’s steady encouragement. I am not an expert at any of the kinky lifestyles but I love how this author duo writes these real honest relationships. And the tension is definitely sexy between these guys. This is simply a really great book to read. If you haven’t read much about the lifestyle, this is a safe (and really good) place to start. I also would highly recommend you look up this duo’s other books because they have some really gorgeous ones out there in their back list!
Hide Bound is an excellent addition to the Les's Bar series and I was fully engaged from the first page to the last. It is beautifully written, sweet, emotional, fun, sexy, the characters are incredible and the authors did a wonderful job portraying someone with MS as they showed a realistic view of how difficult it can be as well as how fulfilling life can still be even when you are dealing with a debilitating illness. I love how Peter and Brandon's relationship develops and how sweet and caring they are with each other and their friends. Peter is such a sweetheart and I love how open-minded and willing to learn he is. Brandon is amazing and I love him so much as he has such a positive outlook and he is so patient with Peter. They are perfect for each other in every way. The secondary characters are wonderful, the ending is great and I can't wait to read the next book in this lovely series.
I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.
I really liked the message that ran through Brandon and Peter's story. There was the usual focus on found family (which is one of my favourites) but there was also the concept of being open to love even when things might not on paper seem like they would work. Brandon as a character really resonated with me. He was this sweet, confident, loving man who also had been hurt. It came across that despite his strength he convinced himself he wasn't good enough or wouldn't measure up. The way he and Peter developed was lovely. Peter was so new to everything but was open and honest about wanting to explore. The way they came together and fit so well (despite initially it seeming like they wouldn't) was so nice to read - like a hug in the form of a book lol. This was just the perfect combination of sweet and meaningful. The characters were amazing as always and the story had a lovely pace. I can't wait for the next one!
I absolutely loved this book. It is so great to not only see another book with a MC that is a wheelchair user (it’s still rare to see) but to also have that person be positively portrayed and in a position of power as a successful business owner and Master Dom. This was fabulously written.
I loved everything about this sweet, no angst, steamy, age gap, Dom/Boy romance. The 2 MCs were both great and they had instant chemistry but without instalove. They were perfect for each other and their love was well developed gradually at believable rate. I would absolutely recommend it. There was great world building and side characters and I’m looking forward to the next book to see what happens with Peters friend. These are new to me authors that I’ll definitely be following. This was book 2 in this series but it can be read as a standalone but I'll definitely be going back to read the first book cause now I'm hooked.
This story was so incredibly touching....Peter and Brandon were the perfect match, their respect and love for one another was truly beautiful, I appreciated getting to know how they met and fell in love...if you've read the first book in this series they were introduced as an established couple so it was nice to read their story in their words and POV. It wasn't and easy road to love for these two, the self doubt Brandon overcame from his disease and situation broke my heart however the strength, trust and love Peter showed him equally made my heart soar!!! So sweet and so spicy !!! It was so easy to fall in love with these men and hope for their future together...Their HEA=❤️❤️❤️ I would defiantly recommend this book!!!
* I received an ARC from GRR, this is my open and honest review *
I really enjoyed this low-angst book. The relationship between Peter and Brandon was so special and they were a perfect match. Although each book is a stand-alone, I had previously read "Just Dex". In that book, the MCs had visited Brandon's BDSM shop and had seen both Peter and Brandon, as an already-established couple. In this book, we get to learn how they met each other. Also nice, we get to see Cyrus before he has met Dex. Although this book is in the Les's Bar series, there really isn't a huge tie-in to the bar - just a brief mention. Although some bad things happen to Peter's friend, the book generally feels good because the two men develop so much love, respect, and balance with each other. I hope there will be more books in the series in the future.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It has all kinds of things in it that I like such as age gap, kink, a differently abled main character and a lot more. The whole thing was a joy to read. The chemistry between Peter and Brandon is off the charts right from the beginning and as much as Brandon tries he can’t resist Peter. One of the parts I enjoyed the most was that because Peter is new to the kink scene we get to follow along as Brandon teaches him. Between the resisting and the teaching these two authors have crafted a marvelous story.
Peter is 19 and works for the city's park and rec department. He is tired of repairing things because of people breaking things and wants to get a job in carpentry. Besides with a better paying job, he could finish off his tatoo sooner and get more piercings. He sees a want ad for a woodworker and goes to apply at Hde Bound. To his surprise, it is a store that builds specialty BDSM furniture. He meets Brandon the owner who doesn't seem to be enthusiatic about hiring Peter. Brandon does hire Peter because he is desperate and Peter is eager to show Brandon what a good employee he is. Peter is very drawn to Brandon and is confused by his growing feelings. The things he is working on are making him desire new things and make him curious. Will Brandon be the one to guide him?
Brandon enjoys working with leather and building things that people in the kink community need. He struggles with MS and spends most of his time in a wheelchair. He used to be a Dom but he had a bad experience with his last boy. He's given up on being a Dom because what boy would want a Dom that sometimes needs to be taken care of? Brandon really enjoys his work and is annoyed that he is going to have to hire a new woodworking employee. His previous carpenter is about to go on maternity leave and their business has been growing. His first opinion of Peter is that he is too young and inexperienced. Then the baby comes early and Brandon is desperate so he gives Peter a chance. Brandon is surprised with how well he and Peter work together. He also sees the sub inside Peter just waiting for a Dom to guide him. Will Brandon overcome his self-doubts and take a chance on Peter again?
There were so many opportunities for the authors to explore in further directions in this book, and that’s only phrased as a complaint because I wanted so much more from it. On the other hand, it is exactly as long as necessary to tell the story it needed to, of how Peter and Brandon meet, form a connection, and then develop a sweetly kinky relationship that looks to stand the test of time. The focus is very much on the here and now rather than dredging up the past, especially since it never appears like that past will have any immediate bearing on the character’s present (only this reader’s curiosity).
Every D/s relationship (in fiction and real life) is different, and the way Peter and Brandon connect is no exception. I enjoyed how Peter’s interest in body modification is used as a way to bring them closer instead of as a point of conflict over control.
As usual in Payne/Tortuga offerings, we also get a glimpse of intriguing secondary characters. We know Cyrus quite well, but I’m already curious how Peter’s former roommate and a certain doctor and detective might show up in the future. The secondary storyline involving said roommate acts as the perfect through-line to justify the speed at which Peter and Brandon’s relationship evolves and even enhances aspects of their connection Peter might have handled differently before his current relationship.
As usual, another story not to be missed if you’re a fan of the power exchange relationship stories by this particular author pairing. This novel can be read as a stand-alone if you haven’t yet read the first in this series. But honestly, you should just read both no matter the order.
Hide Bound is the second book in the Les's Bar series but, so far, I think, can be read in either order. We did meet Brandon and Peter in book one, Dex and Cy's story, and it's so good to have their own origin story. There is clear chemistry and attraction between them from the start but both men don't have any ideas on relationships at that time. They quickly grow closer though, as happens in the BDSM community with the amount of trust necessary between those involved. Peter is the sweetest soul and is just happy pleasing others so Brandon's guidance and care comes to mean so much to him. Brandon has been staying away from others because of a bad relationship but Peters light and clear need/want for a Dom draws him in. I love how naturally their relationship develops, nothing feels forced or drawn out. They work together so well and I am so happy reading a disabled character, someone whose illness isn't the focus but it still comes up when necessary for the plot, relationship or character. The hardest part to read wasn't even in regards to the MCs but one of their best friends. I'm hoping we get his story in the future to see him recovered and getting his own HEA. Jodi and BA have again written a wonderful romance in the BDSM community, giving a good insight into the furniture and pieces that people can have made, and the thought and care that goes into them from both the buyer and creator. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
This is the 2nd book in the Les's Bar series but it involves characters that existed before "Just Dex" took place even though Peter and Brandon were briefly mentioned in the 1st book. Here we have the story of how Brandon and Peter revolved their lives into an established relationship of Dom and sub. There wasn't an intsta-attraction but insta-interest that gradually morphs into a dom/sub tie-in of mutual satisfaction and gratification and finally total commitment. Both, in their own way, work well with their hands. Peter is a master carpenter while Brandon works at Hide Bound making exotic custom-made furniture and leather corsets for the kink crowd. Their worlds come together when Brandon needs to hire a carpenter to replace his pregnant assistant Lesley. Peter discovers a family within the BDSM community; a familial something he didn't have in his life when he finally came out. Peter has only one friend that he is close to and that is Alain. This is the friend that will have a major part in the ending of this story as Alain is wrapped up in Cyrus's blanket of caring. In the end both just successfully "fit". This is my honest ARC review.
Hide Bound brought me on a wonderful journey into the relationship of Brandon, a fabric artist and Peter, a young craftsman he lets into his life. This book had so many fantastic aspects of it that just made me not want the story to end. Hide Bound brings us into what may be a new world for some readers with its representation of the BDSM/Kink community. I really enjoyed the frank discussions about the lifestyle and how straightforward it was presented by the characters. It was a refreshing change. The authors writing styles are just so open and honest in their dialogue and the emotion that they bring to their characters. I have read a couple other books by this pair and really can’t wait to read more. I hope they bring us Alain’s story down the road as this character's initial story really pulled at my heartstrings. If I had any minor critique of this story is that other than a brief mention, there is really no connection to “Les’s Bar”, the title of the series and what is supposed to connect them. Another great read that I can’t recommend strong enough that people grab this book.
Hide Bound is the second book in the Les Bar series and this story is by Jodi Payne and B.A. Tortuga. I loved this story. Peter and Brandon are not the usual couplings. I loved getting to know new characters and really want more of them. I would love to see more of them in the future.
Brandon, he needs a carpenter to replace the one he has. She is going to have a baby so she cannot do carpentry for him anymore. Brandon has MS and runs a furniture and leather shop for BDSM community. He is also a Dom. He is great at it too.
Peter, he loves tattoos and piercings. Mostly he just really is into pain. He works for the NYC Park and Recreation as a contractor. He wants to expand his horizons. He is open-minded, innocent in some ways, and respectful.
I liked these two together they have instant chemistry that really smolders. I like they are easygoing and not too much in the way of conflict. If you want a love story that is a little different but full of love, I highly recommend this one.
My trust in other reviewers massively let me down with this one…
I had two major issues with this book, the relationship & the writing - which is basically everything.
There was zero build up to them diving head first into a D/s relationship. No real conversation of what that would look like for them and considering it was brand new for Peter that seemed like a massive plot failure.
They went from “I don’t want to hire anyone” to “ok I’ll give you a chance” to “I love you Master” in the space of what felt like 5 days. It could have been a longer timeframe, but the writing, pacing, and plot was so badly executed I couldn’t tell you.
I have no clue what any of these characters are meant to look like or what age any of them are, there was no description of what the workshop or apartments looked like… it was just lots and lots of really bad dialogue. The whole story is pretty much told via dialogue, there’s no background info, no setting the scene, it just didn’t work for me.
Aside from the execution, I had a hard time with Alain’s storyline. Im not here to judge the book for any of its kinks or the bdsm community, but I found the handling of Alain’s trauma super problematic.
It’s a shame because I think with a lot more editing this could have been ok. The characters were sweet, I could see the story underneath the incessant chatter, but the delivery just wasn’t there.
I absolutely should have DNF’ed but I couldn’t look away. I am very begrudgingly giving this 2 stars but truthfully I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
It's good to be open to new things. Peter's passion, lies in carpentry but he works for Parks & Rec as a contractor to make a living. Brandon, is successfully living with MS. He is in the BDSM lifestyle, but had a bad experience in his last relationship and is not looking for a new sub. He, builds custom furnitire for the lifestyle, and needs a new carpenter since he is loosing Lesley to maternity leave. When Peter sees an opportunity, he takes it. Brandon hires him and they embark on an adventure of discovery. Peter's mind is open to the culture and his curiosity is peaked. He is also attracted to Brandon. Will Brandon give him a chance? Will Brandon guide him through the lifestyle? Will Peter embrace being a sub? Nice story, a little intense. Peter and Bran are delightful. The author did a nice job creating likeable characters. Well done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a great romance that shows that BDSM does not discriminate. Brandon is a strong and capable dominant with MS, and his wheelchair and crutches don't detract at all from his power. Peter is in need of the guidance Brandon is thrilled to provide, and these men are sexy and also adorable together. I love the scenes, the sex, the conversations, and the humor. I appreciate how Brandon jumps right in when it comes to making sure Brandon and his friend and roommate Alain are safe and secure. I adore Brandon and Alain's friendship. I hope we get to see Alain find a love of his own. I'm a bit behind and still need to read the first book in this series (which comes after this one chronologically), but I will be reading that soon and will be ready when the next book is released. This was another great story by an author pairing I always enjoy. I can't wait for more!
Peter and Brandon form a compelling connection in this book, and all of the aspects that bring them together are handled with clarity and care. It’s rewarding to watch their relationship progress from a reluctant employer/employee bond to strong pairing with a solid D/s dynamic– something about the two of them feels not only like it fits, but fits in a reassuringly lasting way. I liked, too, the chance to know who each protagonist is as an individual. Brandon is interesting enough, and I didn’t dislike him as a person, a partner, or a Dom, but for me Peter kind of stole the show. He’s a dynamic and likable character, one who learns a lot about who he is, what he’s capable of, and what he wants over the course of the story.
*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Engaging slow-burn story with great characters and solid plot. Discovering and exploring a D's relationship is always compelling and I enjoyed the dynamics of this story. I enjoyed their shared interest in body modification and the creative craftsmanship and art of creating BDSM furniture and leather goods. I would have loved to have seen some of the beautiful work the writer described.
Peter and Brandon have a tangible bond that grows as their relationship develops and I was rooting for them from the beginning.
This is book two of the Les's Bar series and can be read as a stand-alone. I will be going back and reading the first book in the series and i am looking forward to the next book that I hope is about Peter's friend, Alain.
I was gifted this book from Gay Romance Reviews and i freely give my honest opinion and review
A great start to the book as Peter walks into a shop and does a double take to want he'd expected to there it wasn't. I loved their first meeting, Peter's just adorable with his energy and enthusiasm. He didnt know anything about BDSM equipment but he'd learn from Brandon. Master Brandon did the planning and the leather work and didn't have a boy/sub of his own. Brandon's feeling all sorts of things for Peter and imagination runs wild. Scenes playout and I loved the chemistry and teasing banter between them. Sexy scenes included also a bit of danger involving Peter's housemate. A good ending for this book. #dualpovs #chemistry #banter #dangers #HEA #wheelchairMC
Peter was looking for work in carpentry and finds an advert for a job at Hide Bound. Brandon needed help in his shop since his other carpenter was due to have a baby. Brandon had MS and was wheelchair bound..
I absolutely loved it. It was a sweet and adorable slow burn romance. Peter and Brandon are perfect for each other. Peter and Brandon had an instant connection, but Brandon did not push or jump right in. He took his time and taught Peter about the BDSM community and is still teaching him, helping Peter discover who he realy is. There was plenty of heat and intimacy between them, but that was not the purpose of the story. They story focused on the development of their relationship. I also loved all the characters and can not wait to see what happens next. You can see that the BDSM community in this series is very tight and protective of each other. They help and protect those who were wronged and try to make sure that it does not happen again. Jodi Payne and BA Tortuga well done on an amazing story.
It’s book 2 in the Les‘s bar series and we’re honored to read the story of Peter and Brandon, which we already met in the first book Just Dex of this series. There is no neediness to read the books in series.
The story is about Brandon, needing a new carpenter and having MS, and Peter, looking for a new job. From the beginning they feel a between each other.
I love the set up of this series: one partner is experienced in BDSM and the other one has while meeting the experienced his awakening. Both authors are great in working out the emotions and feelings of both parts: the whole new world for the newbie and the „oldie“ with all of his bad and good experiences.
I’m really looking forward to the next books in this series.
Peter needs a job that he enjoys. He applies for a job working at Brandon's shop when Brandon's assistant goes on leave and thus begins movement toward them both finding what they need. Peter wants to build, not fix and working with Brandon will give him the chance to do that. Brandon needs the help and he is dealing with a serious condition that requires him to have help in the shop. Brandon does not think Peter will take to the BDSM lifestyle that he not only creates furniture for but is a part of. They find in one another a partnership that works. It only requires that Brandon let it. Will he allow what is possible to evolve or let his hesitation keep them from building a life together? I received an ARC from GRR for an honest review.
Pete is a sweet guy at loose ends. He's good with his hands and loves woodworking, but he hasn't found his purpose yet - he just knows he's looking for more. Brandon owns a successful fetish leather and carpentry business and he's looking for a woodworker. When Peter applies for the job, neither man had any idea just how right they were for each other.
This was a sweet, sexy book about one man learning to open up again and another figuring out who - and what- he wants. Very well paced with a great sub-plot, this book was a quick, easy, enjoyable read! It's part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone (that said, read the whole series, it's worth it!)
What a wonderful story! I loved how Peter and Brandon communicated, how they grew closer both working together and developing their relationship. The trust that Peter shows Brandon while discovering his kinky side is so endearing and Brandon’s patience and honesty is fantastic. I loved this book and the author’s dealing with Brandon’s MS and him needing a wheelchair most of the time is so tastefully done and seems really real. The descriptions of their leather and wood works for the kink community are detailed and very interesting. There’s some drama with Peter’s friend Alain, and I hope to meet him and the other side characters again. Highly recommend!
