This book had my heart damn near beating out my chest. The reemergence of Kai/Nathaniel was a bomb not only to Sonya mental but her marriage to Shawn. There was a lot and I mean lot of back forth but ultimate it resolved in its right place. This has some triggers so if you are comfortable with infidelity, mental health and violence you might want to think before you read. This book is also part of a series so read those before I’ll be honest I didn’t but I felt the author still gave me enough context to follow the story. Looking forward to what’s next for Kai/Nathaniel even though him made a selfish decision when it came to Sonya, I believe he felt remorse for the past and the present. I’m hoping that him a Shawn can mend because let’s be honest he probably would of done the same if the shoe was reverse.

Let me preface this review by saying this book was great!!!! This author always delivers that fiyah🔥and that passion🍆💦. BUT I AM MAD!! I just ❤️ love love so I was very unhappy with Jah and Noah divorcing!!! The mess in this book here!! Shawn you a good dude cause walking in on what you saw🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬!! I feel like Shawn deserves better than what Sonya gave. I get the mental health piece but dang!!!! Noah and Sonya got on my GD nerves. Y’all should’ve stayed together!! Kai you are better off dead!! Let’s see what’s in store for Nathaniel and Kami!!! Only an awesome writer can pull this off cause my nerves were on 10 the whole time! This book had soooo many moving parts!!! Great job, definitely a 5 star read!!

Well, Miss Monica you just came out the gate swinging with this one huh? 😂 I am really messed up after this read! I mean, in shock, pissed, angry, got a headache and my heart is racing! Just jumbled up all the way around! I liked Kai, but could not believe that his ass was this selfish! What kind of love is that? You knew what that would do to Sonya, but just forget her feelings and mental health huh? I was furious at him for that ish! 🤯 And Shawn…… no one could have paid me to believe what he did with Kai! To Sonya, knowing how crazy she was about Kai! The disappointment in him is spilling out of every orifice of my body! 🤬 Noah! His love for Sonya is still as powerful as it has ever been. Don’t hate me for this, but I’m not mad about him and Jah. They cared for each other, but I never felt like they were a good fit. Jah always wanted to rule Noah, and not let him be a man! He was too caring, sweet and passionate for her dominate ways! Sonya honey, whew lawd! Although her world was ripped from underneath her, and she went off the rails a bit, I am so proud of her! She did some impulsive ish, but that is Sonya’s way! She always owns her ish, when she comes down. How she was able to get herself back after all of that is just amazing! I must admit, I didn’t know what Sonya was going to do a few times, I was nervous for Shawn! Nathaniel/Kai what the hell are you doing now? Getting mixed up with Kami when you just stepped one foot out of Sonya’s door! The nerve! 👀 Cannot wait to see what he gets into in the next read, but I can guarantee, he is going to mess some ish up again! Shine up your crown Queen, you did that! 👑👍👍👍

Beautiful Mistake was beautifully written. Everything about this book was done to perfection. The emotion, character growth and even the POVs. I felt everything the characters were going through. I couldn't hate nor like either of them because I felt like I was them.. I didn't know what state of mind I'd be in after this read, Monica is a master story teller and draws you in just right. I felt like I needed to up my blood pressure dosage just to get through this book. Whew! WTH? What? Nah! No way! No he didn't, no she didnt! I said all that while reading this story. In the end I'm still team Shawn! I can't wait until the next book is released. 🔥 🔥🔥 🔥 🔥

Finally
I have been anxiously awaiting this story. I downloaded it as soon as it was available and read it straight through. I was so torn between being happy Kai resurfaced & mad Shawn& Sonya's marriage was taking a hit! Ultimately love wins & relationships are terminated & restored! I love that Sonya & Sertia bury the hatchet too. I cannot wait to hear more from Nathaniel/Kai & Kami!! Definitely 5 stars!

Came together
Man I’ve been reading about this family since Serita first got with Shawn and I can say it’s growing on me. I was really salty about the Shawn and Sonya hookup because I was a Serita fan but it all came together. Still love me some Serita And have a love/hate relationship with Sonya and Shawn 🤷🏽♀️

This book had me on edge. These three men in this book got on my last nerves about my girl Sonya! I'm waiting patiently on the next book. As usual this author delivered a page turner. Great job as usual and definitely recommend it to everyone.

First of all MY BOO IS BACK!!! I missed Kai! Second, this story was amazing. I mean it got DEEP DEEP on so many levels. The drama was back to back and I was here for it!

What a mistake 🥵
I was already emotional before reading this and thought maybe things aren’t what they seem and boy was that an understatement! This family is something else and if you are looking for a series that will take you from here to the kingdom hold on because Ms. Walters Sweet Series will not disappoint! All I can say is Lordt take the wheel🤦🏾♀️🥰

I can imagine this was hard to write, but it was a good read and gives some insight to what happens when some one is mentally unstable and people are selfish. Write another book about Noah they deserve not be hanging out there. Can't wait to read this next book

Roller coaster!
Wow! You had me in my feelings in the beginning. However by the end all was well. Them Taylor's and Jameson's have gone through a lot of turmoil and I am glad they made it to the end. Looking forward to the next adventure.

Beautiful Mistake!!
I had so many mixed emotions when I read this book . Kai back from the dead after all these years and here he is wreaking havoc. I kinda felt bad for Sonya she really didn't know what to do. Sonya had so many men after her . I probably would have divorced Shawn and moved away and started over. Great read!!

When I tell you Monica is a beast!!! She can weave a story together and make you feel all the emotions of the characters. Sonya and Shawn are one of my favorite couples but honey this a rollercoaster ride that you need to take. So worth the read!!

Girl!!!!
This story almost took me out! I started reading and did not stop until the END! I was always Team Shawn but he kinda made me feel different about him! The only thing that reeled it in for me was his unconditional love for his wife. I want Noah happy again so I hope he has a story coming soon too! But that damn Kai...smdh I didn't know what to do about his fine ass! Once again, I loved the story, Not as much as my Henderson's but it was yet another GREAT read!

Amazing Read
Kai coming back was too much!! He and Shawn put too much on Sonya this time. Shawn should have told Sonya the truth from the beginning. Kai was really thinking of himself both times. Sonya once again bounced back and handled both men! Hopefully Kai has found a woman that makes him happy. Can't wait to read part two. Job well done!

It was tough reading without wanting to slap some sense into Sonya!!!!! Mental illness is no joke!!!! My OG Shawn showed up and showed out......that's my dude right there!!!! Kai got what was coming to him!!!! Reckless and selfish he was. RJ was the voice of reasoning for Noah. Thank God for that! God's will be done with Noah!!! It is another one for Ms Monica!!! Steamy intimate moments as usual! 😉😉

Never Disappoints!
This book had me on pins & needles the entire time. Both men were very selfish with their actions and Sonya paid for it ultimately. This was a great read and I can't wait for the next book!

What a ride!! This book gave you the old Sonya, the new Shawn and a mixture with Kai/Nathaniel. There was plenty of drama, sex and more sex! I fell as though this chapter has closed and I'm satisfied with the outcome. I can't wait for Nathaniel and Kami!! Ms. Walters has done it again😘

Loved every part
Man this book was hard to put down, I knew Sonya finding out Kai was alive was going to set her spiraling but wow she went thru it. I'm so happy she decided to stay with Shawn but I don't know if she is gonna be able to stay away from Kai or a divorced Noah. I can't wait to read what drama Kai and Kami will bring next!

Baby!!!!!!! Sonya is a firecracker and when her mental is wrecked, she will do what needs to be done. Regardless of who stands in her way. Kai came in thinking he was showing love when all he did was cause havoc. But I love the way Shawn tried to protect her at all costa and at the end of the day, won his woman and her heart again. Amazing read per usual!

Whew! This one took me on a journey for real but was so good! Kai was selfish but I could still kind of see his point. Sonya went through because of both Shawn and Kai's craziness but Noah's drama was a shocker. Hope we get to see him find happiness! Maybe now Sonya will finally be at peace. Can't wait for Kami and "Nathaniel" story! Overall, great read!

Tortured
This book pulled me in from the first word. I was already a fan of Kai and couldn't wait for this book. The journey that I went on reading this book made me rethink how I felt about all of the characters. I am heartbroken, excited and emotionally drained at the same time.
