Everyone knows the tale—that whoever you kiss at midnight on New Year’s Eve will be the person you spend the rest of the year with. And at fifteen, Aubrey Lane Arrington is optimistically hoping that her first kiss will not only happen over the holidays, but that it will also be with her best friend and crush, Branson Johnson.
They’ve been friends since they were kids and next fall, she’ll be joining him at Eastbrooke Academy. He’s hinted at their friendship turning into more, but as the holiday season progresses, she’s still stuck in the friend zone.
His cousin Beckham Johnson, on the other hand, doesn’t believe in the friend zone. His cocky personality and charisma make him the ultimate flirt, so she’s never taken him seriously. But when he changes his plans to spend New Year’s Eve with her, Lane will have to make a decision.
Will her first kiss be with her longtime crush, or will someone new sweep her off her feet?

Getting more of your favorite characters never ever gets old. I could read about Keatyn and her family/friends forever. This Christmas novella was told partly from Keatyn’s POV and partly from her teenage daughter’s.
Of course I was here for all the Keatyn content, but I truly loved reading about Aubrey Lane Arrington. Lane’s story is something I *hope* will be continuing in an Eastbrooke spin off! Eek! Those Johnson boys and the entire next generation has me so ecstatic!
This is a must read for fans of this series and I can’t wait to get more from this world. It’s now giving me the itch to re-read all these books. IFLY them!
Christmas is coming up and Aubrey is getting excited about seeing her crush Branson Johnson. Now that they are 16 years old and she will be heading to Eastbrooke in Fall it feels like everything has aligned for them to finally be together. Just when she thinks she has things figured out, Beck comes along to add a bit of confusion and Branson seems to be treating her more like a friend than a romantic interest. Then NY Eve comesa long and when you kiss two boys on the same night things get a bit blurred...
If you are a fan of the Keatyn Chronicles you are in for a special Christmas treat :) This is a fun dip back into the Arrington family and their extended family/friends. This is not a complete novella, merely a teaser to what is coming in the new Eastbrooke Academy series coming out in 2022.
Wow 🤩 it was really amazing see this holiday season in Keatyn’s world!!! Aiden and Keatyn still swooning in love!!! I love them! The kids are growing. The next generation is promising! I hope this brings new things and new tropes in Jillian’s world. Makes me wants to read the series again.
Gosh how I’ve missed Keatyn and the crew! I fell in love with this book just like the others Jillian has written! It takes you on a journey of how much the crew has grown up and how their kids are so close! I can’t wait for the next book!
This was definitely a great way to introduce the next generation and hopefully many more books to come with this gang. I am loving the new main characters and already know its going to be full of twists and turns and lots of drama. But I am so excited that it isnt over.
What a fun surprise this book was! I will be glad to read about Keatyn and her family for years to come. It's always fun to catch up with them and remember what I have loved about author Jillian Dodd's fantastic series.
Ugh i missed Keatyn and the gang. Still praying everyday they’d turn Keatyn Chronicles into a tv series. But In the meantime more books about their children all grown up will absolutely do 🙌🏼☺️ can’t wait for the fall!
A Very Keatyn Christmas was a good read by Jillian Dodd. Everyone knows that whoever you kiss at midnight on New Year's Eve, is the person you spend the rest of the year with. Aubrey Lane Arrington hopes that her first kiss will happen over the holidays, and be with her best friend and crush, Branson Johnson. They've been best friends their whole lives. Next fall, Aubrey will be joining Branson at Eastbrooke Academy. He has hinted at making their friendship more but she's still stuck in the friend zone. His cousin Beckham Johnson is cocky and the ultimate flirt. Aubrey starts wondering if maybe there's someone else for her. She finds herself needing to make a decision between the two. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
When Jillian dropped this surprise I was over the moon! I couldnt wait to get a Keatyn and Aiden refill. Then to find out its the bridge for the new Eastbrooke Series, I could barely contain myself. I love that this book gives us a little recap of our favorite’s lives, but also has me so intrigued with this next generation! I cant wait to catch up with LaneyBug and those Johnson boys come next fall.
I love next generation books and I loved this one. I can’t wait for this new series. I love that they will all be at Eastbrook again and I can’t wait to see how everything falls out. This novella is just a taste. How will Branson react to Lane when she tells him what happened with Beck? I can’t wait to find out.
This book made my heart so happy! “Catching up” with this family was like seeing old friends you haven’t seen in years. I’m so excited to meet this next generation— looks like they’ll get into just as many shenanigans as their parents did. Looking forward to Fall 2022!
What a fun read that puts you right back in the Keatyn and Aiden family mix! It also finds the kids growing up and starts to introduce the next line of stories from the family. Don't miss your chance to catch up and get started with the next generation.
Geez Jillian, first of all thanks for the surprise book. Second of all, you suck for that cliff hanger! Can’t wait to continue with Eastbrooke and the whole gang!
Fun quick little read about Keatyn and the others. We got a little introduction to the next generation and caught up with others. Looking forward to reading the new spin off series.
So this was a great snap shot of what is to come and a great way to pull us back into the world. However it just seemed off to me. I feel like Keatyn is forgetting what is was like growing up and she honestly is getting mad at her daughter for acting like her. I wish we could have seen more of Aiden and Keatyn but I also know that was not the main point of the story. Overall, it was cute and fun and a good starting point but I know it is going to blow quickly in the new next generation.
This book is so great and it made me want to go back & reread the Keatyn Chronicles, the way Jillian Dodd tells a story it wraps you up in it and you just want to binge every book. This is one is about the next generation of children I won’t spoil who gets married but the main couple children are great and it’s gonna be so fun to read about them in the series.
It has been a hot minute since I've read Keatyn Chronicles, but I've missed the gang! Unfortunately, I haven't read the books in between but I'm still excited to read the next generation at Eastbrooke. It looks like Lane is going to have her hands full!
This was such a cute novella. It shows us a glimpse into Keatyn's life as a mother and is also told in her daughter, Aubrey's POV. Keatyn and Aiden have been married for 16 years already. I missed these characters so much. It was fun and light hearted. Loved it!
This was not my favorite book of the series and this is actually a lead up to another series so I may as well give that a read. Not a big fan of love triangles but for some reason, the author makes me love them. This was kind of a weird book and too many expectations.
It was great to see them all grown and families of their own with children that are now the age they were when it started. I can wait to read about the next generation.
Read the Keaytn chronicles in 3 weeks and this new series I am sooo excited for. She has to be my favorite author and the books just keep getting better and better.
