Lose out on my top college or tutor Ethan Madden—that was the ultimatum I had been given. To most, it would be a no-brainer, but he was the one guy who made it a point to make my life miserable.
In the end, it wasn’t much of a choice at all.
I figured the job would be quick, but Ethan had other plans.
Protecting my heart was my number one priority because becoming the bullies princess was out of the question.
She'd been having darker stories pop into her mind and she couldn't stop thinking about the so here they are.
Kristie/Tyleigh is a feisty redheaded Canadian/American who fell in love with romance novels when her friend Phil bought her a Kindle that hasn't left her side since.
Her favorite books to read are anything taboo and super sick and twisted.
She grew up in Burlington, Ontario, Canada but moved to South Florida in 2013 where she now lives with her high school sweetheart and three kids.
This is my first read by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect and it was her first bully trope romance as well. I enjoyed the writing and loved the premise of the story, but it fell a bit flat for me.
Ethan has picked on Jordan since elementary school. Fast forward to high school and it's still going strong. His way of showing affection was by doing anything that would ruin her. Even played the no other guy can touch her card.
Jordan's dream is to get into her dream college. In order to do that she's signed up for the schools tutoring program since it will look good on her application. A bomb is dropped on her. She is to tutor the star soccer player. Her bully. Her nemesis. Her nightmare. Her maybe more??
She can't refuse the request so now she needs to spend time with him. She doesn't want to, shouldn't want to... but he has a power of her. He has the ability that makes her lose all sense and play along with his game.
A simple touch turned into moaning consent. I think it was very much lustful obsession on Ethan's part. I don't think the relationship between these two high schoolers evolved enough for me to truly commit to them and their young love.

This had a lot of potential but, ultimately, fell flat. We have a great set-up for a bully romance with the bullied heroine forced to tutor her bully. Even better, it seems that he orchestrated the entire thing. However, that's where the intriguing part of the book ends for me. Once the tutoring begins, we have a bunch of scenes of these two going at it without much build up or relationship development. Our innocent heroine likes it rough and is looking up BDSM online after being turned on by the hero's rough treatment which she just goes with without nary a protest. I'm all for dubious situations in bully romance, but show me some conflict, some initial resistance, something... Also, why did the hero bully the heroine all these years? It just sounded like an extreme case of pulling on her pigtails because he likes her. I need a bit more depth than that. Ultimately, I just completely failed to connect with these characters and their story. On the upside, the writing was pretty solid and the steam was done quite well if you get past the abruptness of it all. All in all, if you are in the mood for a light bully read low on plot and relationship development and high on steam, this is the book for you.
From the beginning of the book it draws you in and makes you want to continue reading. I read this book in one day, could not put it down. The characters have so much drama and chemistry between them that you want to know what happens next. Ethan and Jordan just have that love hate relationship that makes you cheer for them to end up together.

Keeping His Princessby Tyleigh is an Enemies to Lovers, High School Bully Romance. It follows the story of Jordan and Ethan Madden through their dual perspective.
There was so much to unpack when it came to the crazy, busy and sometimes overwhelming storyline that Tyleigh created in the rollercoaster ride she had us riding with following the narrative of Jordan and Ethan. Due to being fast paced,Keeping His Princesswent from 1-100 in the blink of an eye, given how straight off the bat Tyleigh had us diving headfirst in Jordan and Ethan’s story. It was full of some much drama, causing a lot of suspenseful build making you wonder what would come from it. Including the mystery behind some of the secrets that were alluded to. The one other biggest and main element that had the story going super fast was how quickly Tyleigh raised the temperature between the Jordan and Ethan when it came to the Spicy Steam level. But then again it wasn’t surprising given the sparks that were constantly flying between them both. Whether Jordan wanted to believe or accept it. Considering the many situations and events that took place, the banter between Jordan and Ethan resulted in a variety of different emotions and feelings. Creating a basis that at times had you surprised, especially with the flipping of the narrative. Going from serious one minute to comical in the next to then doing a 180 and turning into Hot and Steamy. It’s what made for a sometimes unanticipated and unforeseen plot, which was definitely refreshing.
It should be known when it comes to stories which have a narrative that is jam packed, they’re not only my go to but always make for a good read usually. However in this case, Jordan and Ethan’s storyKeeping His Princessdid leave me confused and unsure at times, with the many mixed emotions it made me feel throughout. While overall the story was an enjoyable read, unfortunately it still didn’t take away from the issues it led me to have. The biggest being the narrative and its flow. IMO whilst the story did start off quite strong, which is why it had me gripped with reading on. However the further the storyline went on was when it started to fall apart. Given all that was going on in, it felt like the main plot was being retreated from. The back and forth with the flip flopping of the storyline changes led to not only inconsistencies. But also with the addition of new bits and pieces that felt random, it caused a bit of a decline with the story falling flat in my honest opinion. Another issue was the ending which felt quite rushed with how quickly the resolvement came about, due to not being much done in order to really get to that point IMO. And the final issue was the character development of Jordan and Ethan. Not only was there inconsistency when it came to their characteristic traits, which did feel off at times given how they were shown and made out to be in the beginning. Especially in the case of Jordan. Also there wasn’t as much in-depth development with their characters throughout, at least not as much as would be expected IMO since it was Jordan and Ethan's story after all. Given all of those issues it’s what caused the narrative toKeeping His Princessto feel choppy, broken down and not all there, ultimately losing the effortless flow to keep the story gelled with running along smooth altogether as a whole.
All in all, withKeeping His Princessbeing Tyleigh’s debut she did a fairly good job. But given the issues it caused the book to fall short, especially since the blurb had me expecting some much more potential. However that’s not to say it was a bad read because it wasn’t since Tyleigh still managed to keep me reading on until the very end in the chaotic rollercoaster ride that was Jordan and Ethan's journey.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really wanted to love this book because the bully trope is one of my favorites!! But sadly this book fell really short for me.
I didn't get the chemistry between Ethan and Jordan. We get the background that Ethan has been bullying Jordan since elementary school. Then by page 8 he's touching her and trying to kiss her and she's allowing it, seriously??? Then maybe 10 pages later, she's calling a friend, who isn't really a friend, and asking her about liking things rough. To which her friend replies oh, like BDSM? LOL. There is a huge disconnect with this.
Jordan also decides she's going to go to a school party for the first time ever, and while there she's going to slam alcoholic drinks so she won't know what's going on around her. When she realizes Ethan is dancing with her, she freaks out and starts yelling at him. It's like she can't make up her mind. She wants him, then she doesn't want him. But this party evidently made her REALLY popular, which still doesn't make sense to me.
I could go on, but I won't because this literally happens throughout the rest of the book. This story really needed a lot more. The basic pieces are there, but there felt like a lot of holes and some of these situations or issues felt very cliche. Not to mention, the ending was very rushed. Maybe an epilogue would've helped with that.

*spoilers* Jordan is part of the 'helping hands club' and offering to tutor, so she can get into her dream college. She is forced to tutor Ethan. He is the golden boy, star of the soccer team, for which Jordan cheers. But he has been bullying her for the past ten years, it got even worse when they entered high school. Trying to report him did not work, due to him being the golden boy and making the school a lot of money. She quickly learns that he is smart and does not need tutoring, he wants her. But also he is being a jerk, it is hard for her to say no. She has troubles to stand up for herself and she likes his hands on her. She affected him from a young age and he punished her for that. He slowly became more obsessed, seeing her as his. Will it be love in the end? I chose reading this book, knowing it is bully turns to love, but like other subjects, while I can enjoy it in fiction, it does not in real life. No means no and bullying, because somebody means something to me is not ok. There was a lot of drama and Jenna created more hurt for Jordan. But it is well written and the chemistry between Jordan and Ethan was high.

I love a good bully romance and I enjoyed this one.
We have our lovely leading lassie Jordan and our brutish leading lad Ethan. Jordan needs the credits from the tutoring club she's part of for the school she wants to go to and Ethan has orchestrated it so that she has to tutor him. Despite not needing the extra help and having bullied Jordan since they were young. It's the classic boy likes girl, Boy picks on her because he doesn't know how to act with her.
However, despite enjoying the book I felt there was a disconnection with the characters for me. Ethan didn't really have any redeemable qualities. He just seemed to be a dick to everyone. Having said that I did like his Possessiveness over Jordan. Jordan was a very meek female main character even for an awakening submissive. I know she enjoyed it a lot but there were some things that she wasn't happy about and ended up letting it happen anyway. Jenna is definitely one of those things. What an absolute twat. Love to hate a character and hate her, I did.
Spice levels were definitely enough to heat me up in the Scottish nights.
All in all the book was an enjoyable read and I look forward to reading the authors future work in this troupe and others.
I had such high hopes for this book since I have enjoyed other books by this author (under a different pen name) but this one just didn't work for me. I honestly couldn't connect with either Jordan or Ethan, I love me some bully romances, dark or contemporary doesn't matter, but this one just didn't reach the potential it had. I do feel that the characters could have been more believable if they were in college rather then seniors in high school as far as their panache for "rough sex" especially since she's a virgin and hasn't experienced anything yet, but the bullying was spot on because it was what you would experience in grade school when the boy likes you so he picks on you. There are other things that are thrown into the story that make you wonder what will happen next but unfortunately things didn't go the way I was hoping. Maybe there'll be a second book and I'll get the character that I was interested (Neil) in there, but as things stand now this was an okay read that needs some work to really pull it together.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy YA Bully Romances or YA Enemies to Lovers Romances. There are mixed reviews on this book but you never know you may absolutely love this story as so many have.
Ethan has pestered, bullied and isolated Jordan since middle school. It's their senior year and Jordan has had enough. She wants a normal life of parties and dates but Ethan is always near watching over her. Interfering if a guy gets too close. High school drama, angst and feelings will keep you turning the pages of this one.
Usually im a sucker for the ennemy to lover kinda book but this one did nothing for me, I don't understand how she can go from hating him to letting him touch her in a matter of seconds. My hopes were up when Neil came into the picture but it fell flat pretty quickly.
I had a hard time with the book in the beginning because Ethan was a bit much. His aggressive mean behavior was a little over the top. Jordan is very likable. A few times she was too much of a pushover but I still liked her none the less. She gets forced into tutoring Ethan who doesn’t need it and he’s immediately on her in a steamy way but he’s so cruel to her. The book was a bit fast paced and when things started getting really good I honestly thought this book was gonna end with a cliffhanger. I think it has potential to be more drawn out. Ethan and Jordan’s story could have had more. Most of the book Ethan is so mean to Jordan and type of nice relationship seems impossible or that Jordan is going to end up with Stockholm Syndrome. I get some people have a hard time recognizing feelings but Ethan is a bit dense when it comes feelings. When Ethan finally starts changing it’s so sudden it made me feel like when the heck did that happen. I also think the crazy chick Jenna could have done more to add to it. It’s a really good bully to love story. It’s got a good amount of everything but pace. I hope to find more from this author. I really enjoyed reading this book.

That saying, “opposites attract”, definitely applies to Ethan and Jordan. Jordan is the quiet, straight-laced, good girl while Ethan is the bullying, gets around, bad boy. He’s been bullying her since third grade and comes up with this clever plan to force her to tutor him.
The angst between these two was crazy! They were so back and forth the whole time and then don’t forget to add in all the usual high school drama of gossip, mean girls, popularity, and parties. Their happily ever after was well-deserved after everything they put each other through to get there!
If you like fast paced, angsty, high school bully romances then this is the book for you!
Ethan is such a jerk, and Jordan is forced to tutor the one person who makes her life miserable. I could not get enough of this story. All the angst. Steamy. Make you want your own bad boy.

Ethan has bullied Jordan since Elementary school and as a senior in High School she just wants to lay low, do what she has to get into her college, and avoid Ethan at all costs, yet Ethan has other plans. When she is having to tutor him he really tries to get her to see that he wants her like no other and nothing she can do will stop him. Their chemistry is off the charts but with the drama that follows them there is a lot of push and pull. Jordan tries and wants to stay away from him but there is something about him that has always intrigued her. This story is a fast paced read that will keep you invested throughout and pulling for Ethan to get act together and finally put Jenna in her place. I hated how he would go along with Jenna just because if he did it would shut her up when he really needed to go off on her more than once. I did enjoy this read and the drama is very fitting for the high school setting.
Someone bring a fan because this book is hot! There were steamy scenes from the beginning to the end, which I’m obviously here for. This was a fast-paced bully romance in a high school setting with plenty of drama.
Jordan, beautiful, innocent and non-confrontational was part of the tutoring club to ensure she was able to get into her college of choice. She followed the rules and always tried to stay within expectations of her. However, something changes when she’s assigned to tutor the one boy who has tormented her since elementary school…
Ethan, from the outside he appears to be the golden boy – gorgeous, smart, all-star athlete. On the inside though, he’s not so nice. Given all of his obligations, he failed to turn in English papers but jumped at the opportunity to be tutored by the girl he’s obsessed over since they were kids. He’s made her life miserable by bullying and taunting her – to the point that she’s been afraid to have a boyfriend because they would also be subject to his bullying.
I really liked the premise of the book – the chemistry and tension between Jordan and Ethan is off the charts. There was so much drama between the two that it felt like I was back in high school… the catty girls, the gossip, love triangles. I loved it. Given the years of bullying, I wanted Jordan to make it harder for Ethan – the fact that he didn’t know how to show his feelings didn’t seem like enough for her to accept him. Regardless, the writing was quality and the spicy scenes were intense.
This book was AH-MAZING. I always love a good bully book and this one does not disappoint!!! Salty and sweet it takes you through the whole rainbow until the ending where the gold really is!.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶 (lots of sexual tension)
Okay, so I want to start with the positives of this book. I love bully romances, so this was definitely a book I was interested in. You have forced proximity, banter, sexual tension, and, obviously, bullying. Ethan comes to the conclusion that he wants Jordan. He’s made sure that as long as they’ve known each other that no other guy is allowed to have her. It isn’t until their senior year that he realizes he actually likes her. Jordan doesn’t understand why Ethan bullies her so much. Ethan pretty much forces Jordan to tutor him where instead of actual tutoring he makes advances towards her and the book goes from there! Jordan finally accepts her mixed feelings towards Ethan and they continue this dance of secretly liking each other but not out right saying it. There’s definitely some good spice 🌶
This book walks a thin line between consent and sexual harassment. Ethan is an extremely morally grey character. It’s a bully romance, so it’s to be expected, but I think it’s important to note since that can be triggering for some people. I wish there was more character building. We meet so many characters, but don’t find out too much about them. This book could’ve been so much longer, which would be great! And when Ethan finally decides to stop being an asshole, he barely apologizes before Jordan forgives him (I’m a big fan of groveling 😂). And the last thing that I wish was done in this book is an epilogue! I want to know how Jordan and Ethan are doing 😭
If you love bully romances, then this is a good book to read. You can never go wrong with them ☺️

This is my first book by this author. It stars two teens who are in their senior year of high school and live across the street from each other. They are very much enemies and hate each other (or so we think) and Ethan loves to torture Jordan. Jordan just tries to avoid him. That is until she is forced to not because she has to tutor him.
This book has a BDSM element and Jordan does NOT like nice guys. She finds them boring. She wants the bad boy and thats why Ethan is able to tempt her with his passion and that he does not treat her the greatest. To be honest he is a bit obsessed with her. He really can't leave her alone. I found Ethan extremely immature. He has a lot of feelings and most of them in relation to Jordan he does not understand. He also does not have any parents around to help him understand his feelings.
I loved Jordan a lot. She is tough. She can take Ethan's abuse and she can even stand up for herself. She loves to drive Ethan a bit crazy and she finds that she likes the bad boys. She is a girl who is learning who she is and what she wants. But she also has parents who care and she has morals and she doesn't want to hurt anyone, even Ethan's nasty ex.
She also has other guys into her and I loved watching her torture Ethan and make him face his true feelings for her. This is a book about growing up, facing up to your feelings before you lose out on life and your special something.
In this story we get the young boy bullies the girl he likes in order to express his feelings throughout the years trope. The way which this book was written was honestly really well done as the author made it easy to connect with the main couple and the reasoning behind their actions and they way in which they acted. At first I must admit that the main lead Ethan was a bit hard to like as his way of referring to the lead Jordan wasn't the best but throughout the novel one can see the his character development and the acknowledgment of his feelings which allows him to see that he must get his princess before it's too late. The heroine Jordan within the story in my opinion was a well written character in the way which she even with this immense attraction she felt she still tried to not do wrong such as not letting anything happen between her and Ethan when she mistakingly believed he was dating Jenna who was the crazy "ex". The spicy scenes within this novel were hot, I will not lie if you are not a fan of rough scenes then this may not be for you but the author really brought the heat because even his dirty talking had me fanning myself.

This was super cute and different. I would not consider this a bully romance. This book was very different. A classic tale of basically "if a boy pulls your hair he likes you," kinda thing... Only Ethan may have taken his hair pulling to Jordan a little too far and didn't really relent until their senior year in high school.
When Jordan discovers that her handsome tormentor might have "different" feelings for her than she realized, she soon realizes that the dangerous things he can offer may be right up her alley. Together they are explosive, but it can't last, right? When an old friend moves back to town and has his eyes set on Jordan, will it give Ethan the opportunity he needs to finally make his move or will be go back to his tormenting ways?
I enjoyed this story. It was a bit weird to fall for someone who has tormented you for so long, but that's what makes a good book. Doing the unthinkable and getting away with it. lol. The chemistry between the two characters was explosive. I would have really enjoyed a bonus epilogue with the two in the future since they were talking of "forever."
*Overall 4/5 *Heat? 4/5 *Slow Burn *Past talk of bullying *Lots of tension *Ends in HFN
I received a very early ARC of Keeping His Princess, A High School Bully Romance by Tyleigh! I will start out by saying I am not typically a fan of bully romance. I don't personally like "let me be mean to you and then you fall in love with me" romances. However, I really enjoyed this one and I finished it in a couple of hours. There is this one scene… in her bedroom... OMG. Pure 🔥! Jordan is a girl you’ll root for. She's finding herself and figuring out what she likes, wants, needs. Ethan is the bully you can’t help but want even though you shouldn’t. He grew on me. And Neil… well, I do love the nerdy, underdog… I ROOTED for Neil. So, I’m going to need you to write me a NEIL book now. 😍 It was super faced paced, and a lot happened in a very short time. If that isn't your thing, you won't like this book. They are in high school, but the steam is very much adult. So again, if that's an issue for you, you might want to skip this. All in all, I really enjoyed this debut from Tyleigh, and I look forward to more.
This book goes directly all in. Ethan bullied Jordan for over a decade. He is the schools golden boy and Jordan dissapeared in the backgroung. But now Ethan takes a step up. And Jordan doesn`t push him away anymore. The awakening of love, lust and other desires begins. We read about two kids who are become slowly adults. Learn about themselves, about accepting and denying feelings. And how to take a risk evebtually. I liked Jordan. Despite Ethans behaviour through the years she never lost track of her goals. She denies less than Ethan is a little more mature. Ethan seems to be the bad boy at all, but if you take a deeper look, there is more to him. Nicely written story about different feelings, to handle them and learn to do it the right way
I love bully romances and am always so excited when I get them in my hands, and let me say that this book has a crazy amount of steam! I also really liked the premise of the book and was definitely interested in seeing how everything played out. Other than an awesome premise and tons of chemistry, I wasn't really able to connect to the characters and their reactions and was hoping for a little more there. Other than that, it was interesting to check out and I totally give it 4 outta 5 stars!
PS: Thank you to Tyleigh and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!
This just didn't work out for me sadly. 😪 I was excited at the prospect of the main male character being a soccer player and The main female character tutoring him which gave me "The Deal" vibes but add in bullying. But it just wasn't my cup of tea. I never connected with the Characters and everyone felt so immature. This was more about obsession than bullying. Eeek..
