Bedlam Moon #3

Wicked Bedlam

Rate this book
She thought she knew who she could trust. She doesn’t anymore…
Shocked and disoriented, Lana finds herself torn between believing her fae king mates and Finn, her alleged soul bonded mate and High King of the Fae, who’s been trying to tell her the truth.
His Claim: Grimm, Penn, and Casimir stole her memories and hid her entire life on Earth from her, but Lana just won’t hear it.
When she mistakenly thinks Gideon, one of her alleged vampire mates, is about to attack her kings, she attacks first and accidentally kills him—or so she thinks.
Devastated by her own actions, Lana flees with her kings, only to overhear a conversation that can only mean one thing: The three of them are not being entirely honest with her.
Maybe it’s time she searched for answers herself. And she knows just the place…
Deep in the Wastelands lives the Crucey, a creature she saved many moons ago and who has promised to give her answers if she ever needed them.
She’s about to call in that favor when, during her tumultuous journey to the Wastelands, a mysterious stranger creeps up on her and takes her captive.
Who is this man, and why does he keep torturing her for no apparent reason?
As Lana is kept chained in a room with no hope or escape plan in sight, she struggles to discover her captor’s motive and forge a new path.
Should she look forward to a future based on lies or a past she can barely recall?

I did it. I finally finished this series and I can say that it is without a doubt probably one of the worst series I have read. Not only is there an assault written about in great detail with Luka who then impregnated her, but there are multiple times she writes about it. ALSO THE KINGS???? Instead of breaking the bond with the kings she forgives them and is like “yes let’s try for a baby!” ALL BECAUSE THEY SAID “yeah sorry for taking you away from your mates, your family, your children, making you forget them and made you fall in love with us under false pretenses but we actually love you now.” Stockholm syndrome much? The lore makes no sense besides a “yes I can do this now I’m High Queen Obvi.” People are killed and brought back to life in the next page despite being told “it’s impossible.” She had more connection with Gideon than any of the others for most of the book. It felt like she was treated more like a baby making machine than a person and that she also viewed herself that way. ALSO the body checking in the second book when she becomes fae? They mention that the blood of fae makes vampires feral. 2/7 (?) of her mates are vampires so I guess her husband can't bond with her anymore?? IDK this book makes 0 sense and I'm still thinking about the lack of sense it makes

If you liked this series I promise you that there are far better pieces of work out there and may this just be something to introduce you to the fantasy world.

So many ups and down and so many times I wanted to throttle the dumb men lol I really enjoyed the series but sometime you just wanna smack one of those men upside the head and be like Yo! Did you even think about what comes next? What happens after your terrible decision?? Hmmm!? Lol great series def recommend reading it!

Just when you think things are looking up. They get worse. Then better. Then worse. I mean. Miss Lana, I hope you have a quiet life after this series because. Damn.

I love that deep down Lana is still her stubborn self. She still doesn’t need a man to solve her problems. But they are a nice added bonus. Unless we’re talking about the kings, and they are a terrible added bonus.

I’ve loved gideon since book one. But I think I fell in love with him again in one.

And rose and Bennett. They are the best parts of their mom and dads. The sass. The stubbornness.
Not to mention the over bearing dads when rose has a glimmer of a love interest. I was dead. Cackling out loud while reading.

This was a nice conclusion to the series. Though my fingers are crossed for another series revolving around the nuggets.

Do I think I’m going to have a reading slump after this, yeah. I also wish I could go back and read this series for the first time again.

Just no!

I really enjoyed the first two books but this one has me giving up at 60%
I then cheated by flicking through till the end and came to the conclusion this is not for me.

Some reviews say justice was served,it was NOT!
Taking someone's memories, is taking away their identity, family, children yes?
But it's also taking away their Consent!

I had difficulty reading the intimate moments between Lana, Penn, Grimm and Casimir. Because although it was superficially consensual it was mentally rape. And is there real justice afterwards? No.
She loves them their her bonded... Whatever!

Even Banishment would have been a step in the right direction, but stepping down from the throne? Really? Nah.
Apologist for emotional and mental rape? I'm .not interested.
Forgiveness is one thing, I've seen before in other books, but this was poorly done.
Not properly punishing them for taking her away from her babies and turning her mother into servant, Just Nah 😤
Sends a message that women fantasize about being doormats!
That's not a fantasy I want to read

The thrilling conclusion to this trilogy exceeded all my expectations! Packed with action and emotion, the story follows Lana as she navigates the chaos of having seven mates and a menacing werewolf determined to shatter her world and break his own curse.

As Lana gradually recovers her memories, she uncovers the truth about her mates and the sinister deeds of the three kings. The challenges she faces are heart-wrenching—kidnapping, torture, and the unimaginable loss of her baby test her strength like never before.

This book is a rollercoaster ride of love, deception, betrayal, and resilience. It beautifully intertwines broken hearts with the power of true love, showcasing themes of death and revival, all woven together by an unwavering sense of hope. A must-read for anyone who loves a gripping fantasy filled with deep emotions!

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4 🌶🌶🌶🌶

Lana definitely takes home the prize for the most kidnapped character.

Tropes
✅️Paranormal Romance
✅️Why Choose
✅️Soul Bond/Mates
✅️ Age Gap
✅️Fae/ Vampires/ Werewolves/Witches

Triggers
☑️ Torture
☑️Captivity
☑️ Stalkholm Syndrom
☑️ Assault

I'll be honest, the first book was not all that great. However, the last two brought me back in, so overall, the series is a 3.5 ⭐️

Lana is gonna need a WHOLE LOT of therapy after this. This woman has been....
🔸️Attacked
🔸️Had her body mutated to Luna Fae
🔸️Murdered (then brought back to life)
🔸️Cursed
🔸️Held Captive
🔸️Had her memories wiped (multiple times)
🔸️Assaulted
🔸️Forcefully Impregnated

The whole thing with Luka was just, ewe.....

Gideon, damn...I would storm the gates of Hell for that man. 🔥🔥

The Bedlam Moon series has a strong foundation I liked the FMC and the overall concept a lot. But the execution felt rushed. The pacing was too fast, leaving no room for the story to breathe or flourish. Major moments were glossed over, and instead of building real connections with the love interests, we barely see her with them. That made it hard to believe or invest in the relationships.

The first three guys and were solid, but the three kings didn’t land for me at all. And the storyline about That was a huge no for me uncomfortable and unnecessary.

Overall, it’s a series with potential, but it needs more depth and space to really grow.

Wow this series was AMAZING!!!! I loved all the characters, the story line, the spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Love that it features everything a fantasy fan wants like vampires, Fae, witches, werewolves even goblins and other creatures and of course Humans.
Kathy managed to keep me guessing and shocked through all 3 books this will definitely be on my list of books I wish I could read for the first time again.

So many things happened to culminate in a really good ending

This has been such a fun series to read, all the chaos, all the twists, and to come together in an ending that made sense. It was nice to have all the loose ends tide up and not read like it was all rushed was refreshing.
The characters remained well written and the storyline flowed easily so it didn't feel jumbled & confused.
Great read from book 1 to book 3.

This was my favorite of the series. I feel like the author really came into her writing. It was an enjoyable series overall and I liked how it ended.

I hope we get some novellas or even spin offs about the twins and Nova. Or maybe a prequel about Luna. It would be fun to go back to Bedlam at some point.

I’d say for the most part the ending was fine but I would have loved to see a redemption arc for Luka, see her relationship with Bellamy turn into something, and lastly a group scene. Sadly those things didn’t happen. I felt like the ending was kind of rushed, but overall I liked the book. I just wish there had been more of ending and time with her mates and not all about her not having them.

So many things are just not resolved, loose ends aren’t tied up, and I’m leaving the experience feeling like some people got the short end of the stick here. I like the story, good concept, I just hate how it ends. Like everyone is just one big happy family after everything that’s happened? Ugh. No.

I enjoyed the first two books, but this one was a lot harder to read. I had to pause half way through to take a break. I think it was well written for certain storylines, but putting them together was a struggle. I also had a hard time with some of the plot. It had me crying and wanting to throw the book out in some places, and had my full attention in others.

This series rocked!!! I thoroughly loved the
character growth and development of this story. I rarely wanted to skim past some parts. I've already read the trio of books for Rose and her harem. Lucky ladies!!!
I think these two series definitely deserve a read!¡!¡

4⭐️ - love how this ended, definitely makes the next series make so much more sense. Love how this turned out, but definitely darker than I thought it would be.

Lana tries to come to terms with her new reality, not sure who to believe. Half of her mates lied to her, but despite not having her memories back, she feels a pull towards them. Knowing that they are tied together forever, she will have to determine their role in her mate group.

On top of that, there is the threat of the werewolves. Having been captured by their king, Luka, Lana must do whatever is necessary to get herself free. Her mates, both the kings and the vampires, search ceaselessly for her. When Lana is able to get free of Luka, with Gideon in tow, she seeks out an old friend to get her memories back.

Love the series, definitely recommend

Well thats all over. I enjoyed this one more than the first two books., there was more depth into this. Although i still got some whiplash from the quick changes in the plot.

Not one of favourite books and most likely won’t read it again or think of the series but the book to get better as you read along…

A happy ending to a great trilogy. I do feel like this ending was wrapped up quicker than I would've liked. I feel like it went super fast and we just swept a lot under the rug. I was still cheering for Luka to have a HEA (even though he did terrible things to Lana). I'm happy Lana got her memories back but damn at one point I was like how many mates do we have?? I think Luka should've made #8 and been accepted. I still have my opinions on the Bellamy situation... what was the point of him? I feel like sooo much more could've come from him. Over all though, I loved this trilogy.
