A Fresh Anointing

Rate this book
In the Old Testament, when a man became king, he was anointed. God has set aside His man as a special appointed, ordained, anointed man. He was anointed by the Spirit of God for a task. When a man became a prophet, he was also anointed. When a priest was ordained, he was anointed with oil. King, prophet, and priest were the three major offices of the Bible. All of those who were appointed for office had oil poured on them. Oil pictured the "oil of gladness" or the "oil of influence" or the "oil of the Spirit of God" or the "Spirit of God." With every new work and with every great task that God wants man to accomplish, God also wants to equip that man with a fresh anointing. The purpose of this book is to challenge every Christian to seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit for all the work God has given him to do.
