[Ménage Amour ManLove: Erotic Alternative Ménage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, Werewolves]
Ryland has loved Gregory for six years, ever since Gregory rescued him from the brink of death. He has also known since then that Gregory is his mate. He’s been old enough for a couple of years now, he just can’t understand why Gregory won’t claim him.
Gregory knew the moment he saw Ryland six years ago that they were mates. Ryland just wasn’t old enough to be claimed. So, Gregory bided his time, waiting for Ryland to grow up. But as his desire for Ryland builds, he wonders how much longer he can wait.
Gregory finally claims Ryland only to learn that by doing so, he has endangered his life. Ryland is a tri-omega and needs two mates to keep him grounded and safe. But he hasn’t met his other mate yet, which could be a problem. It could mean Ryland’s life if they don’t find him.
About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

I loved this book From the moment Gregory met Ryland he knew he was his mate but when they met he knew Ryland was to young to be claimed. Six years later Gregory finally makes Ryland his only to learn that he may lose him. To Gregory Ryland has always been special but he discovers what sets Ryland apart from the other wolves in their pack may be the very same thing that kills him. Ryland is a Tri-Omega and has to have two mates to keep him balanced and safe and he has to be claimed by both mates daily or he will die. So now that Gregory has claimed him, they have a limited amount of time to locate Ryland other mate. Enter Viktor Beta of another pack that Gregory and Ryland meet while on vacation. Viktor isn't so sure about this whole Tri-Omega thing and he's positive he doesn't want to have to share his mate. This book cleverly overlaps in time with the first book Secret Desires showing the same scenes but with a different perspective. I love this series it as some very hot sex scenes I mean three hot guys sexing is oh so hot. This book had a few misunderstanding and the lack of communication due in part to Gregory and Viktor not wanting to share and the fact that they are attracted to each other and them not understanding that they all have to come together as one. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
The second book in tri-omega mates, I was really excited to read this one but I just did not feel the love. It was all so silly after awhile. I wanted it to be real hot and sexy damn it, it was sweet. I don't want sweet :(
Ryland was rescued by Gregory 6 years prior, and he discovered that Gregory is his mate. So he has been waiting for the day for Gregory to come and claim him, lets just say that the day has come and passed. Ryland has been waitng patiently and he is sick of waiting. Well Gregory has other ideas, he feels that Ry is too young and wants a few more years to pass before he gets his groove on with him. What he can't see is that he is hurting Ryland in the proceess, a third party steps in makes things clear and poof the smexin happens.
Well he claims him and it turns out Ryland is a tri-omega( who would have known). See this happens every few generation for wolves so the likely of their being two, no one expected this. So now Ry and Gregory has to find the other mate or Ryland might die.
Lets just say they find him and everyone gets a little jealous. I wanted to love it but i could not, sex with 3 guys is to be hot, well... this was not. In the end everyone was happy but I wasn't. I don't even know what to say about the characters they were just there.
This second book in the series was just as good as the first, with great characters and interesting story.
This book cleverly overlaps in time with the first book, Secret Desires, showing the same scenes but with a different perspective. This is the story of Gregory and Ryland who have known they are destined to be mates and have known since they first met years ago. Gregory has been waiting for Ryland to 'grow up' and now that he is over eighteen, Ryland can't understand why Gregory won't claim him.
When they finally get together after some initial misunderstandings, it is hot and sizzling. The relationship starts with a bang and from that time forward the two men are all over each. Ryland is totally inexperienced and has been pining over Gregory and Gregory hasn't had sex for 6 years so they are very passionate!
Once again not fully understanding the implications of the tri-omega causes problems and suddenly Ryland's life is at risk. Luckily the third mate for the relationship is discovered. Viktor immediately recognises Ryland as he mate but Gregory's prior claiming causes a few concerns but nothing Viktor and Gregory's attraction to each other can't resolve. And luckily Leyland, Lucas and Jake are able to share some more insight into the whole tri-omega workings. "You know, it would have been really nice if someone had explained all of this to us in the very beginning. Maybe you should think about publishing a fucking how-to manual," Gregory yelled before slamming the phone down.
Once again, this is a fun book with great characters and lots of humour. There are some minor editing problems including the odd changing of a minor characters name, noticed but easily overlooked.
I now publish all my m/m reviews on my blog so if you want to see all my m/m reviews in one place come visit at Because Two Men Are Better Than One!
'Forbidden Desires' is book two in Stormy Glenn's Tri-Omega Mates series and it continues the sexy fun of the small pack filled with gay men. Once again, I was drawn into this small family and into their lives and loves.
Ryland was beaten almost to death by his birth pack for being small and weak and then they left him to die. Unbeknownst to them and his new pack, Ryland is a Tri-Omega which means when he gets claimed by both of his mates he'll be able to shift and he will come into his powers. From the moment Gregory rescues him, Ryland knows they're mates, he's just been waiting patiently to be claimed.
I'd say that all three of these Tri-Omega stories are 3-3.5 stars.
I'm being generous about them because I enjoyed the basic stories. My primary criticism about all three is that the editing is extremely shoddy--lots do missed words, inconsistencies of person or placement, and incorrect word usage such as "filling" does NOT equal "feeling" (This occurred twice.).
Also, so much was talked about Tri-Omegas and them having abilities, but they were barely touched on, especially in the third book.
I recommend them for light reads and pretty good sex scenes, but only if you can overlook the editing issues.
These are sort of like cotton candy for me. I do enjoy them and find them plenty entertaining and not short on the smut-tainment either. The characters are not always super well fleshed out (even though they spend a ton of time naked...go figure) but they do grow on you. The whole Tri Omega thing is intriguing and a nice way to up the ante on the kind of stale werewolf genre (mf, mm, it's all getting a bit stale frankly to me). Enjoyable - not too deep though there is some drama and I do like the plot elements keep going through multiple books.
Drag the editor out to the firing range and shoot them.
'You're' when it should be 'your'. 'Accent' when it should be 'assent'. And what in the name of all that's holy is a 'dinning room'?
That's just off the top of my head. Other than that, this book is exactly standard Stormy Glenn material. Anyone who's read anything by her should know what to expect: Manly men being girly, simple love stories, lots of sex. No mental gymnastics here.
Re-read and review: 02/09/2020 This book has a bit less sex scenes than the previous and more plot. uhay. I find the link between Ryland and Gregory being damaged a nice and interesting idea. Another author would explore this, show how this affect they relationship even how this affect the relationship with the third one. A bit of jealousy and envy maybe a little of bitterness with the consciousness it's a pain of his own making buuuuut is Stormy Glenn so is merely said. I will resume the whole series for you, because it's the same in each book: "Wolf A meets his mate (wolf B) they have a lot of sex, wolf A claims the wolf B and when the things are become cozy Wolf C appears and Wolf A has to learn share his mate." As I said before Stormy Glenn and lore are long time enemies.
Ryland is running out of ideas of how to show his mate that he is ready to be claimed. Deciding to take the bull by the horns, he tells Gregory, the man who saved him years earlier and has been there for him through thick and thin – that he is ready to be claimed. This, however, evolves into a situation that has far reaching consequences.
Gregory is out of his mind with lust for his little mate, but wants to wait until he is ready. Knowing that he cannot have what he wants, he does the next best thing. This results in him having to face up to what was directly in front of him and laying claim to his mate.
After a night of passion, they find out that all is not perfect with their joining –as not only is Ryland unable to talk to Gregory, but they find out that he is a Tri-Omega and if his second mate is not found soon – Gregory may not have a mate at all.
Getting away from the pack for some much needed R&R seems to be the most logical thing to do – allowing Ryland and Gregory to spend some quality time together. However, they get more than they bargained for as not only does Ryland find his second mate, but his mate’s wolf is in no mood to share.
After reading a wonderful first book in a series, it is always with a sense of trepidation that I read the second without comparing it to the first. Stormy Glenn has done what few authors have been able to do. She has given us a better book with FORBIDDEN DESIRES, the second book in The TRI-OMEGA series.
This book is a character driven book, it delves into the dynamics of two men who have waited what feels like an eternity to be together, only to find out that in their eagerness to be together they have set in motion a chain reaction that is unstoppable without a third to complete their partnership. Their third is not open to sharing and finds great difficulty in accepting that he is a part of an already established union.
Stormy Glenn has given us a plot, which will have readers putting The Tri-Omega series in their diaries for future release. Sex scenes are definitely not vanilla – they are hot, aggressive and in some case very much unexpected. I absolutely love this book and look forward to seeing where Ms. Glenn goes with this series.
So, I decided to take a look as the first book in the series had promise.
Again, same things happen; mates are found, sex is had immediately etc. It's a shifter thing, apparently, at least in Glenn's books. When you get over that, you realize this book is better than the first one by a mile.
One thing that totally knocked off a star from the review is the bloody crappy editing...
Mixing you're with your, check when you're talking about cheek, accent when it's supposed to be assent (this happens TWICE!)... NO, seriously, what the heck?? Could they not have edited it properly? In 140 pages there were maybe four or five errors I spotted. That's about one in every thirty pages which is TOO MUCH.
Again, I'm hooked enough to check out the next book, I'm hoping the bad editing stops there.
I had issues with Ryland forgiving Gregory for cheating on him...... He knew he was his mate and rather scratch an itch as fast as possible than discussing with his young mate that he wants to wait and let him live.... Why after 6 years of no sex he had to scratch that itch before telling him he wanted to wait..... Than Leland told him it could search for him but than doesn't warn him..... This triad is going to have a very bumpy road.... Also the author mentions that Leland said the bond that Ryland ripped when he felt Gregory in town could eventually be repaired... It mentions that Ryland could feel Gregory and he was excited after the third time......but it never shows Ryland communicating with Gregory ..... Ryland only communicated with vicktor...... So as of right now Gregory and Rylands bond is still not mended and I wanted to see it fixed.

Barely giving this a 3, more like 2.5. The second half of the book saved it. The beginning was so tropey, "grr, I have to have my mate, oh wait, now we have to have sex or you die".
Once we met Victor it got better, and I found the story much more compelling at that point. I also had the problem with the copy-editing. With the the gross errors, just because you use Word and go through the spelling and grammar check, you might actually want to read the book.
I might try other books by the author, but I have a feeling we will be lucky if we get a 3 star rating.
This book is the story of Ryland, the youngest of the Wolfrik Pack. Ryland is also a Tri-Omega but only has found his one mate, Gregory. They soon learn that Ryland must find his second mate very soon or die. This story was very good and kept me interested. I found it disturbing that the author used some of the exact same written pages in this story as she did in the first. Her thought may have been that readers skipped book one, who knows. All in all a well done love story.
typical stormy glenn romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical stormy glenn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
laziness dictates i will use this as my template for all books by the following authors unless a book is remarkably good/bad : stormy glenn lynn hagen scarlet hyacinth joyee flynn carol lynne gabrielle evans
I really liked this story and the characters. I enjoyed the issues they dealt with which were different than the first book. I would have liked to seen more drama between the three of them. When Ry cut off Gregory and Vitkor, I wanted them to really suffer for actions instead of them figuring out they are dumbasses for getting mad at Ryland needing two mates in the first place and then they go and mate themselves! The conflict got resolves too quickly for my taste.

Ryland is a tri-omega werewolf (which means he will need two mates to keep him alive and will develop special powers once mated). Geoffrey rescued Ryland 6 years ago and has been his mentor ever since. He has always known Ry was his but has been waiting for him to mature. Viktor is the other mate, Geoffrey and Ry meet him by chance when on vacation.
If edited properly my rating would become three stars. I love shifter stories. I love MM shifter stories. The premise was good. What was needed was more background, more depth. I wanted to understand Viktor and his relationship with the rest of his pack. We did not have that. I wanted more story and more sex also. Still enjoyed the story just not the mistakes.
Pack Alpha and Beta discover they have the same mate
Interesting characters, the pack Alpha and Beta, try to work their way to understanding and acceptance when they both see the same omega is their mate. Although dialog and plot development seem artificial and forced at times, the scenes do work their way to heated, satisfying ménage encounters. I'm looking forward to the next novella.
Better than the first one, less creepy! Hourra for adult and mature conversation! Ryland seems at some times more adult than Gregory, that's was interesting. I like how the writer make Viktor and Gregory deal with each other.
My heart broke for Ryland at start of this book. Having feeling for Gregory and not been able to tell him or show him then finally having courage to express himself to his mate and getting shot down so soul braking, it made me want to cry for him. Really liked this book, great HEA.
Again this was a lot more than I expected. And I kinda like that the link between Ryland and Gregory didn't get magically fixed, that there are consequences to actions, and that even with that flaw in their dynamic they still make things work
The only question is, why didn't the bond issue not get resolved between Gregory & Ryland. Gregory & Viktor are able to speak mind to mind but why didn't that get fixed between the other two? I would have liked to have seen that fixed.
This was just as awesome as the first one I loved it can't wait to read the next book in this series and I will be reading it next cause I already bought it Woohoo can't wait....
Reading her Vol-1 of her Tri-Omega Mates series from Siren Publishing. Oh man, Great bks. If you haven't read them, run and buy them, you wont be sorry.
