From America’s top psychic medium and the author of When Heaven Calls comes a new book that unveils the secrets of the afterlife, the truth about heaven, and inspires “us with his comforting certainty that we never die” (Gloria Estefan).Psychic medium Matt Fraser, author of When Heaven Calls, is back to unpack the number one question folks ask “What happens after death?” Although we might expect a complicated answer, it’s actually pretty We never die! Drawing from thousands of conversations with Spirit, Matt pulls back the curtain on life’s hidden -What happens when we cross over -The beautiful realities of heaven and eternal life -The guardian angels who keep us safe on Earth (including our pets who have passed) -The role of dreams and how souls appear to the living -Love, romance, and soul mates beyond life -Ghosts, hauntings, negative souls, energy vampires, and psychic protection -Destiny, free will, and second chances -Regrets, amends, and forgiveness from heaven -Figuring out your gifts and purpose -Karma, kindness, and living in the divine flow -How to recognize the signs and messages our loved ones send us from heaven As Matt explains, “We all have our own ‘phone line’ to communicate with heaven. All we have to do is figure out how to use it.” Revealed through never-before-told stories, the wisdom in We Never Die “is healing the world by making sure we have a strong emotional and spiritual connection, which is the foundation for a healthy life” (Karamo Brown, star of Queer Eye and author and author of Karamo).

He has also been a sought-after guest on popular TV shows such as The Real Housewives, Botched, The Doctors, and many more.
I am far from being an expert on the subject of mediumship and certainly have no gifts that I am aware of, but have been reading books on this topic for the last fifteen years. And.. I am in no position to judge the authenticity of this author, however, I can judge what this brings to the table for just me. This subject poses no downside for me and in those last fifteen years of reading about connections, hope and vortex energy, that gave me a deeper understanding to the validity of this topic. Having had only two experiences that were not on demand, they were unrelated to any descriptions written in this book. This particular book was simple questions and answers. The questions asked were juvenile in my opinion, yet I don't know who posed the questions. If this book is intro 101, it may also be the reason it was very repetitive. For those who know little, inside there are names of the different types of mediums and their style on how they use their gifts. I read this book for the sole purpose of finding new information- but unfortunately there was none.
The reader who reviewed this book, Alicia Bayer, has obviously never attended one of Matt’s readings. He tells person after person details about their lives that no one could come up with. There are no “cold reads” as Alicia talks of. I have personally had him read for me and there was no way to know the details about my life that he knew. She also talks about people who went to his readings to try and expose him as a fraud, which they were unable to do basically, because he isn’t a fraud. It’s an ability that he has had since he was a very young boy and the book shares the experiences he has had throughout his life. No rainbows and butterflies. He just tells it like it is.
I suspect that this book will mostly have one star reviews and five star reviews, with not much in the middle. If you want to believe all that Fraser says, you're going to love the book. It's nothing but sunshine and rainbows. Everything works out after you die. Your loved ones are always with you. They've lost all of the bad things about themselves. They forgive everything. They can help you from heaven. There are no bad spirits to worry about as long as you don't use Ouija boards and invite them in. You'll be the perfect version of yourself after you die. It doesn't matter what religion you are. Everything is perfect.
Fraser fills the book with stories of people he supposedly gave readings to and the spirits who basically show up every other minute with precise details about the people he's talking to. I was curious about him so I looked him up and this didn't actually gel with what one skeptic reported who went to one of his shows with a few others trying to out him as a fraud (they were 6 of 1,000 in the crowd and he didn't single them out for anything so it was a bust in that way). That attendee reported that he mostly did classic cold reading tricks where he did things like ask one row of people to stand up and said he saw a "father figure" around the area and asked if the number three meant anything to anyone. It would be pretty hard not to get a taker with stuff like that.
Fraser is young (30) and writes like a young man. He talks about making a vision board where he specifically wanted to marry a pageant queen from Rhode Island 🙄 and how he got his wish (the first Miss Rhode Island was a dud but he married the second one he met). He basically came off like a charming, slightly slimy con man to me, but I have to admit that I'd love it if his utopian after-world were true. Ultimately, he didn't convince me though.
Whether you believe in mediums or not, this book is about love. Love coming from heaven and the love we should manifest while living; Loving others, forgiving others, and loving ourselves. It’s a book of hope.
My husband of 35 years, my soulmate, died two and a half years ago. I found Matt Fraser's personal experiences connecting with the spirit of loved ones who have crossed to the other side extremely comforting. I started to read this book as someone slightly skeptical of anyone's ability to get messages from spirits, but Matt managed to convince me. I appreciated Matt's words of warning regarding mediums who can be unscrupulous. I was comforted by Matt's assurances that spirits want us to continue to live a purposeful and happy life and that we can still ask and receive help from them.
Matt's coaching on creating a vision board, on possitive affirmations, on daily gratitude were all things I know sets a person up for happiness. Matt did an excellent job outlining how to do these activities and illuminating the benefits.
I thank Simon and Schuster, Inc., Gallery Books, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an early copy of Matt's book.
This was a good book, The problem with these books is that I have had so many readings and read so many of these books that a lot of it is review for me. If I had never read any of the things in this book, I think this book would mean a lot more to me. If I had found this book when my grief was fresh, I think it would have helped me. I do like Matt and I enjoyed the book. I hope to see one of his live readings some day.
Matt Fraser is extremely charming, personable, and heart centered. He's also living a happy life replete with glitz, glam, riches, and showbiz. His writing style is easily digestible, fast paced, and friendly. But the material doesn't go deep, not even the parts entitled "Going Deeper." Instead, he reiterates passages that were already stated and the message: "Be positive."
There's a blatant gap between Fraser and most of us. Your average person doesn't, for example, create a vision board with their pageant winner soul mate as the "prize." Your average person doesn't feel positive about everything all the time. Your average person didn't grow up in an intact, loving family, didn't face setbacks in aquiring their dream house, etc. We're renters, if we're lucky. We're hoping to get by, day by day, if we're lucky. We're happy to have a pleasant, non-offensive date, if we're lucky. We work jobs to get the paycheck, if we're lucky.
One psychic I've encountered is so gifted that she turned this skeptic into a believer. What I've learned from her during only a few sessions contradicts greatly with Matt's teachings. My ex-husband, dead now for over ten years, is still a miserable, angry soul (for lack of words that would not be approved here). He basically told me that he used me and "oh well." That's certainly not an elevated spirit. And I learned of another relative who needed to purge the fact that she was sexually abused. She wanted my empathy - approximately 20 years post mortem.
Matt claims there's no hell, but slips in a brief note that evil souls go through something unpleasant. He doesn't expand at all on this. That's wherein I need explanation.
There's no mention of female sexual abuse, people who live in chronic pain, or those of us whose family didn't love us in the first place. Why would we find consolation in their omnipresence in our lives today? That both freaks me out and causes me pain, if it's true. During the most devastating times of my life, if they were actually with me (which Matt claims), they certainly didn't do anything to comfort me. How could they be there, and watch me struggle like that?
As another reader pointed out, too, this book doesn't remain true to its title. Matt Fraser admits himself "I don't want to live forever." His point is that this is why he doesn't know about reincarnation. That's an illogical leap, for one. Second, the thought of living forever scares the bajeezus outta me. I don't want to live forever, Matt. This isn't consoling. Explain. Expand. The soul, a source of energy, cannot be created nor killed. But our "lives" in the "afterlife" are not anything like our human lives. They can't be. It doesn't console me that I might see a love after I'm dead. Because I won't be able to give and get a hug or more. No sex. No kisses. No chocolate indulgence. Nothing of the sort.
If you don't want to live forever, Mr. Fraser, why did you title this book "We Never Die" and fill it with messages of hope? There's a striking disconnect.
Matt emphasizes the search for a soul mate as one's life purpose, but he contradicts himself by saying to not put too much emphasis on this. (Easy for someone to say when they nabbed their pagaent queen, having worked in the pagaent circuit.) I align more with Tyler Henry's perspective regarding "soul mates." We don't necessarily have one soul mate. We can in fact have many, romantic or otherwise. Or perhaps we don't have any.
The last bit of the book reads like a jumbled hodge podge of nontangential information.
Matt Fraser's breaking new ground. This is exciting. He's a wonderful, charming, caring man. I enjoyed most of this read. For all of these reasons, I recommend it. But if you want an indepth read that delves into the shades and dark sides of the "other side," I don't. I'm still looking for that one.
I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been on a spiritual journey for a while, and much of what the book says aligns with what I’ve always believed. However, my own negativity and anxiety sometimes made me doubt those truths. Reading this book not only confirmed the positive beliefs I knew to be true but also helped ease my death anxiety by reinforcing those ideas. It was refreshing to see these concepts written down. As with any book, I took what resonated and left what didn’t. About 95% of it spoke to me, and the rest I let go—what works for the author might not work for me, and that’s okay. Highly recommend if you’re open minded and find comfort in spirituality and want to explore that more :)
In general, I really enjoyed this book and it did bring me comfort after the recent loss of my Mom. There are chapters that go into some detail in regard to certain things that I'm not sure I absolutely believe in, but that's okay too. Matt does say at the beginning of the book that not everyone will necessarily believe in everything he says, and that each reader must just take from the book what they need, and what speaks to them.
If you’ve ever been curious about mediumship and communication with persons who have died, this may be a book for you. It aims to answer many common questions. I agree with a lot of what he says, as my mediumship experience is similar. However, there are differences. Everyone isn’t always at peace on the ‘other side’…I’ve seen too much to say that they are. I do want to say that I wish mediums would stop using these cheesy covers on their books!
Matt has rose to fame quickly at a fairly young age. I was definitely intrigued by his ability and looked forward to seeing how he does what he does. The book was not a disappointment. He covered a lot about what happens when we pass on. The soul is eternal, so we never really die. We just go home. He shared a lot of what happens in that process and how it affects those left behind. It was a comforting book, with lots of insight and humor into a subject that can be difficult for many. I highly recommend the book and the comfort it hopefully brings everyone who reads it. It did for me.
Maybe I was expecting something different from this book. It was not what I expected. The book was just an ok read. Dragged in places and for me, some of the questions he answered were “eh”. Nothing really gripping in this book. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.
I'm still having difficulty with this book due to the sudden and violent way I lost my mother last month. I ask for your patience as I try a little when I can, to get through this one. I'm not going to lie, I've had to start over a couple times and read and re- read several pages and truthfully I don't really remember much, so... I may have to start again. I will update this review as best I can when I can. Thanks for reading friends. ♡
I don't know anything about Matt Fraser. I have never even heard his name before. Now I know about his mediumzhip and his life. Moreover I have learned about his beliefs about heaven, ghosts, prayer,Guardian angels and how spirits communicate with the living.
The subject of Psychic ability and the use of Mediums has always been of interest to me. I saw a program on Utube about Matt Fraser and wanted more, so I purchased this book. Fraser states that Psychics can see the future while Mediums connect the living with the dead. He gives examples of these abilities in this book by using stories about people he has assisted using his gift as both a psychic and a medium. The theme throughout is to be positive, know that the dead family and others are always with you, and they have our best interests at heart. Fraser encourages us to call on them when we need spiritual guidance and sometimes our dead family will communicate with us. I found this book to be very shallow regarding these subjects; and that disappointed. His very general statements make sense, like always exhibiting positive energy. Other statements do not make sense to this reader. It falls to each person to either accept on faith Fraser’s precepts or reject the whole concept. Faith also applies to religious belief; no one nor one religion can answer our questions, so we must accept concepts like God and religion based on faith. My personal life experience has included experience with the things he states. For instance, I knew a lady in Mississippi who did psychic readings, she was also quite intelligent; I went to her for readings. What she gave me was what I would call common sense statements that were not life changing, yet she did see things in my future. I went to her once in a panic because of issues at work. What she gave me was a comforting feeling that everything would turn out right and it did. Her help reassured me and got me through the issues. But again, I attributed her help to intelligence and common sense. Once while working in Bulgaria, I got the privilege to meet Baba Vanga. As I sat in her dining room this famous psychic told me my father was in the room; and he stated that I should watch over my youngest brother; yes, it was my father talking. I enjoyed this experience; she told me about some of my attributes yet except for the adventure I got little out of the encounter; yet I believed her when she said my father was in the room! One other item that Fraser discusses is the ability to communicate through your thoughts with others. I believe that on occasion I will talk to my long dead mother. Her sister who was living alone and 90+ years old was suffering and lonely. My mother told me to contact her and stay connected with her until the end. I did and I know it was my mother who put me in communication with my aunt who lived in another State. I will explain my experiences here because my experiences are mentioned in this book; so, I do not refute all that he says, but he creates more questions than he answers, so this is not the book to get answers from; I don’t believe anyone has the answers. You either take what comes on faith or you do not. What I have taken from his book is the need to stay positive in life and be a friend and support to all others who will accept your assistance.
We Never Die SECRETS of the AFTERLIFE by Matt Fraser says it best when the death of a loved one is the most challenging and emotional thing anyone can go through!! This was the perfect book that I could have read this weekend!! A year ago this weekend my life was flipped upside down when my best friend, biggest supporter, and confidant, my Dad passed away from an illness and I have not been the same! I found Matt and his reels on Facebook and started watching them and became fascinated by them. When I learned he wrote books you knew I had to read some of them. So, I grabbed this from the library and was so glad that I did.
Matt wants to dedicate this book to all those grieving the loss of loved ones. He hopes that what we read helps us feel closer to the love in spirit.
We Never Die opens with a beautifully written forward by Matt’s wife Alexa! Not only is it beautifully written but she is an amazing storyteller as well. She opens up about her experiences with death in her family. We the readers also get to read about Matt and Alexa’s first meeting which leads to their beautiful love story! Alexa seems like an incredible woman and she is so blessed to have found a great guy in Matt! From the reels I have seen they have an adorable family.
This is a must read for anyone that has lost a loved one either a parent, spouse, grandparent, pet, best friend, etc. Matt shares so many stories and situations about loved ones passing. One of them is bound to pull on your heart strings and resonate with you. They did with me!
What I was interested about learning seeing that my Dad just passed was the truth about Heaven, what happens when you die, where is heaven? He answers all those questions and more in this book. Oh and if you are wondering if you will see your pet on the other side he talks about that as well.
He explains the signs that loved ones give you to know that they are around some I have seen are music that my Dad has played me (he knows I am a huge NSYNC and New Kid Fan so this Christmas Season he would play on my radio in the car Christmas Music from them), I have had dreams at night from him. I am a huge fan of Butterflies and he knew this before his death so whenever I see them now I know that is him paying me a visit.
Matt not only talks about crossing over, but also life and the purpose of it, laws of attraction, and finding happiness. This book gets deep.
Matt educates his readers and opens up our eyes to so much about what is on the other side. He is a godsend to those who are grieving and just lost someone looking for answers. This is a must read for anyone questioning what really happens when you pass.
First of all when I think of Matt after hearing his voice through the Audio book he certainly is a fantastic, loving, positive and funky spirit. I love all this about him.
What I love about his book is that he offers fantastic life advice. He is superb at communications, which I am now convinced that most mediums are, well at least the famous successful ones. He is positve and offers great tips on things for getting through things. His books has super short mini chapters that are divided up by questions most people have regarding the afterlife and mediums.
Now for the downside. For the most part I see some commonality in our beliefs in things regarding the afterlife or just the genral understanding of possibilties but then he mentions things like mercury in retrograde being a thing he believes in and his credibiity of integreity goes down a little. Come on, Mecury in retrograde is why our luck goes down.
Perhaps they have nothing to do with one another and he still can actually "see" and commuicate with the dead desite these beliefs. I am still unsure of all the details about it. To me if someone can actually see people there would be more of a reaction on what happened to them and how it went down and total descprtions of how you see them etc. and there is not. If you want people to understand there must be some logic guided in reality as well.
Also things like he believes the Ouija board is evil - or that is opens up communication to let "any" spirit in, which could be bad. Come on it is a board with letters on it....anyone can do this. That's ridiculous. So there are "bad spirits". As a medium he believes in this too, some don't but he does. He believes we only have one true soulmate.
SO in conclusion, I love him as a person and he is a fantastic motivational speaker and has some wisdom to give to the world, but he does come off as a bit hokey and shallow in parts of the book.(You can't pin down the love of your life using specific shallow descriptions of a person your hoping ot get like a matchmaker does, I mean you can but you come off as someone without depth. You want to just find authentic love for another person because you love being them and they are your friend). I hope he's not fake and what he does IS real.
A czasem to one z nim.
"We Never Die: Secrets of the Afterlife" by Matt Fraser came into my life at precisely the right moment. Lately, I've been preoccupied with thoughts about heaven and death, grappling with the mysteries of the unknown. Fraser's book turned out to be a serendipitous discovery, offering a source of comfort and solace during a period of questioning.
While I must admit that my personal faith doesn't align entirely with Fraser's perspective, I found myself resonating with about 85% of what he has penned in this book. I relate to Fraser’s empathetic and compassionate way in which he explores the subject matter. Fraser's words don't aim to impose a singular belief system; instead, they gently guide readers through various perspectives on the afterlife.
Through this book, I realized that I might never have all my questions fully answered. The mysteries of what lies beyond this life are vast. However, that's not necessarily a source of despair. Fraser's book has brought me a sense of satisfaction, not in the form of definitive answers, but in the peace it provides regarding the unknown.
Reading this book felt like having a meaningful conversation with a close friend who doesn't claim to hold all the answers but listens, understands, and offers insights that alleviate the burdens of uncertainty. Fraser's words have provided me with relief, offering a glimpse of the possibilities that exist beyond this earthly realm.
"We Never Die" leaves me with hope. It serves as a reminder that while faith may vary from person to person, the pursuit of understanding and the quest for inner peace are universal.
Besides reading many books on grief after losing my husband, I also became more involved with wanting to learn more about the afterlife, despite the fact that I am clairsentient. Who better to get information from than Matt Fraser whose gift is communing with spirit and bringing messages to the many who seek an inside peek at heaven and a message from a loved one.
One doesn’t have to be grieving to want to learn the secrets of the ‘other side’. For me it fascinates to be able to receive messages from the beyond. And it’s clear to me that Fraser has an ‘auto button’ where he can talk to someone and let them into some privy information about a lost loved one. Written in easy conversational style – as Matt is known for his casual conversing.
In this book, Matt will distinguish the difference for us between a psychic and a medium, explain why people change after an NDE, how it is for a child born with ‘the gift’, the truth about heaven and how our lost loved ones can be with us spiritually, how a medium receives messages from our lost loved ones, how our spirit guides really do take care of us, how we can communicate with our lost loved ones, what happens when a person ascends to heaven, how to create good karma, how to let go of bad energy, and so much more.
Whether you are spiritual or not, the fact is, we’re all going to die someday, or we all have a lost loved one, and Matt Fraser teaches what comes along the way, and that energy never dies and that’s why spirit never dies.
This is the first book in 2025 that made me tearful 🥺. The profound experience to be able to communicate with the souls on the other side, reminds me of my deceased mom. I find this book so interesting! It's resonate that I've been reading books about souls this year! (+) Good insights! Many things i've learned from my mother and the spirit world. Reading this book feels like a nostalgia of when i spent a lot of meaningful time with my beloved mother. I'm crying for the first six chapters ehehe. And the reincarnation part, yeah, we agree with this one. It's very rare for souls to be reborn, unless their life is cut prematurely, or something very tragic happens. (-) In chapter 7, the lgbt part is a meeh for me. The divine is against same gender marriage, it's werid there's a soul in "heaven" will give a blessing for it. If it a soulmate as in friendships, i can understand, but it says romance. This part is misleading, contemplate it wisely. Then in chapter 8, you'll be surprised that evil energy can hide in what seems to be normal and happy places or people, they're camouflaging, manipulating. If we talk about creepy entites, sure! They mostly resides in abandoned or dirty places. But demons are different case, dangerously manipulative, can even make evil souls seemingly holy. See with discernment. I think Matt Fraser knows this, he just wants to focus on the positive aspects, which is good. But for me, I don't wanna dismiss it, there is sure good (celestials) vs evil (demonic). Again, we learn from the discernment. Overall, interesting reading. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I feel extremely fortunate that I was able to see Matt Fraser perform at a show in Canada several weeks ago. He is a super ball of energy, has a great sense of humor, loads of talent, empathy and compassion. I went hoping to have him call out to me in the audience regarding a recent loss I had; but to no avail. He looked at me twice right in the eyes, but walked away. I understand that the person I hoped to connect with was not ready to speak to me yet.
Anyhow, I was so impressed with the spirit connections he made with certain individuals in the audience. They were so detailed and some even took 15 minutes with all the information he provided the recipient. I knew when I got home, that I just had to seek out all of his books and order them, which I did.
This is the first one of his books that I have read and even though it seemed a little choppy, and much of the information was already familiar to me; I can't tell you how much this book means to me. He gives great advice and tidbits of information to help guide us through our lives. I have placed book markers in several areas of his book that I plan to reread from time to time. For a young man that is only in his early 30s, Matt Fraser, is so knowledgeable about things that most of us don't realize even at the time of our own passing. Thank you Matt for all that you do. I hope to see you one day again. You are a great inspiration and I wish you all the best of success!
