Hellfire MC #3

The Scream of Hell

Rate this book

He fought for his club; he stood firm when life wanted to shatter him. When she left, he flipped life the finger and carried on. He’s quiet and rarely has much to say. He doesn’t forgive, nor does he forget. But now, he’s faced with the sins of his past. Will he survive?

She ran because he was going to break her. His club was dirty, and she saw the writing on the wall. They had a talent together, but he chose the club over her, and she couldn’t forgive him. She’d never forget that night. It scarred her too deeply. Now she’s back and not by choice. Her life continued without him. Now he’s in her face demanding answers, but she’s none to give him. He hadn’t listened before and won’t now.

A Hellfire brother confronts the woman who tore his heart out and stamped all over it. But she’s different, no longer the girl who doted on his every word. Life has taught her several lessons, and the first is, stand your ground, don’t be weak. Well, he intends to break her and get his revenge. But she’s not playing his game. Instead, she’s playing in a whole different ballpark.

What happens when a stubborn Hellfire brother meets his match? What happens when a woman who has lived life on her terms is challenged? The only sure thing is, they’ll hear the screams in Hell.

Overall, this book was a hot mess, with every crazy plot point imaginable thrown in just to distract from the initial unforgivable act committed by the H (Celt). Here’s the replay of the events that Celt doesn’t remember happening the night before the h (Chey) leaves town. Honestly, there’s just no coming back from this-EVER:

“Chey, you fuckin’ bitch!” Celt roared. “Drew, I’m pregnant, two months so. Please believe me,” I begged, stepping away from the counter. “Liar!” Celt slurred. -Celt stepped towards me and grabbed my chin in a hold, and shook my head hard. Then Celt planted his palm in my face and shoved me backwards. - Celt stared at Zeus and then drew back his hand. The sound of the slap echoed in the room… “Drew!” I cried, cradling my face. -“Chey, I fuckin’ hate you. Wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. Did you think I’d leave with you? Chasing that dream is a nightmare. You ain’t good enough; you are a child playing a woman.” Celt laughed. “Makes me a pervert, don’t it? But this is what you’re gonna do, bitch. If there is a brat in your belly, it ain’t mine, but I’m a decent sort, I’ll pay for the abortion.” “I am not aborting our baby, Drew,” I said quietly. “If ya don’t abort it, I’ll beat it out of you!” Celt threatened. - Before anyone could blink, Celt drove his fist into my stomach twice. Then ruthlessly, Celt shoved me so hard I crashed into the desk and collapsed to the ground. “There, free abortion, baby!” Celt chortled. He aimed a kick, and I’d no energy to defend myself. - “Come near me or another brother bitch, I’ll put you in a grave,” Celt called over his shoulder.

I just didn’t like Celt or Chance even before he was supposedly “roofied”. (And by the way, mentioning over and over how he thought he was drugged by Zeus does not excuse his actions.) This is what he said to Chey when she initially begged him to leave the MC and help raise their unborn baby -“The fuck, Chey? I can’t believe you’d try to trap me into doing what you wish. That’s a low blow even for you!” Celt roared. His best friend chance adds -“Can’t believe you’d treat my brother like that bitch. Lying to keep Celt tied to your pussy? Shit move, cunt!” Chey let out a wounded cry and stepped back. “Last chance, Drew, leave this shit and come with me and raise our child,” Chey begged. Celt turned from her. “Have a wonderful life Chey, don’t trap the next guy.”

So, Cheyenne was pregnant with twins and miscarries one due to his attack. One survives and she understandably never tells Celt about his surviving son. When he finds out, after fifteen years, he’s really MAD at Chey for not telling him. He sees the video of him attacking her but is still MAD that she still doesn’t want him in her and their son’s life. Start with groveling dude or STFU forever you should be in prison.

Why would these two ever get back together? Just awful.

Hellfire's bad past comes into play in this one in a big way. I didn't blame Chey for the choice she made with the knowledge she had, she had to protect herself. Yet when we learned a little bit of what happened to Celt, I hated that she made that choice thinking that Celt was horrid, when he was manipulated. But I get it emotions ran high and you can only do what you can with the knowledge you have and hindsight is always 20/20.

There was so much bitterness and hate between Chey and her band and Hellfire. Had it gone on much longer I probably would have given up the book. These 2 groups needed to both take the knowledge they learned about and let it sink in, then figure out a way to work together. It wasn't easy, but it helped that they had a common task, keeping Chey and those she loved safe, as a couple threats were coming at her. This helped, caused them to work together. It was tough though, the stalkers got too close and there were people hurt and worse. It took until the end of the book before the threat was contained. Once that was done, everything was all about the future and all the goodness to come for them all.

Just Noooooooooooo

I am the first person to Rave about your books, but this one ant it
I was so excited about this book but after reading it I was just done with this one. How do you justify killing one of your own children because you Were drugged and out of your mind how do you excuse that and she just takes him back and the MC don't have any problems with what he did. Just no this book not good for me maybe the next one will be on point. We will see

Chet

This is the 3rd book of Hellfire. Where past meets future. In this moving book. Another good book but not one of my favorite. Never really connected to Chet and Chey.

Spoiler Alert

This was a great addition to the Hellfire Series. As usual Elizabeth isn't frightened of hitting taboo or dark subjects. Her willingness to enter these worlds is something many authors won't touch for fear of bad reviews. Have to respect an author that says to hell with it and goes for it!

Celt's story is a dark one. He was roofied and then hit his then girlfriend Chey. The horror is, we know Celt is a good guy, he proves that throughout the book. This causes Chey to lose one of her twins. And Chey is holding a grudge.

Elizabeth tackles the problem of date rape drugs and the damage they can do to innocent victims. In this case Celt and Chey were both victims. (I really hope we find out what happens to Zues, he needs a come uppance) Celt is full of righteous rage when he finds out about his son and then the truth kicks in. He did hit Chey, even though he was drugged. Elizabeth clearly shows how a good person, an innocent person can be forced to do something evil under the influence of being roofied. We hear stories of this in the media so much. How drugged people act out of character. This pulled Celt's character into doubt and made you question if he was a good man or not.

As usual the tale has its twists and turns, but the one passage that stood out was could Chey forgive and forget? Because she didn't think she could do either, for Chey it was about moving past the history and the pain. That really stood out to me. There has to be plenty of people who felt like that and I felt Elizabeth nailed it on the head.

Great read and can't wait for the next book! Keep them rolling!

All too often we can say we forgive and forget but what does that really mean? Can someone honestly come back from a dark mistake, one they're not even aware of committing? That was something I longed to explore and Chey and Celt became my forlorn lovers who had a heck of an issue!

Could Chey really move past what Celt and done to her and would Celt forgive himself when he learned the truth? I wanted to examine both sides of the argument so I could understand Chey's anger and hate towards Celt. Meanwhile I could also understand Celt's anger because he was forced to do something against his will. And then on learning he was indeed innocent to a degree of what Chey blamed him for, I could then understand his anger at Chey.

Meanwhile Chey had her own demons to overcome. I wanted Chey to be tough and hard but allow hope to light her way. I didn't want her past experiences to completely rob her of being open to Celt once again. And luckily they found their way through it all!

Is there any subject the author won't tackle? This starts off with everyone hating Celt and for a good reason. Except it's not a good reason, he was roofied. Chey has to find a way to move past their history and decide if they can make a relationship.

I can understand Celt's anger his son was kept from him because he didn't know about his actions. And I commiserate with Chey ready to kill to protect Jesse. The relationship is of full of anguish and hate, it shows a concentrated effort at moving past what haunts them both.

Celt attempts to smoother Chey after her accident and she defends her independence, good for her. hate people who play on disabilities and ignore what they're capable of! Great writing and some emotional scenes. What can you can say? The author delivers as promised.

Lost love

Chance took back his legacy but still dealing with what the former president Zeus pulled.

Celt and Cheyenne were young lovers. But when she got a chance for her band Wild Wind she took it but Celt never would go. She told him she was pregnant But later that night was told she miscarried.

15 years later Cheyenne came home and Celt, Chance all the MC was shock when they saw Jesse.

When Celt went for custody of his son a new revolution was revealed on how Cheyenne lost her baby, Jesse twin.

Ms Harris throws alot into the story, Clet being drugged, what he did to Cheyenne that faithful night. Zeus was behind everything, then throw in two stalkers and hell breaks loose.

Celt has his work cut out for him. I hope other readers enjoy the story has much as I did. Happy reading

Awesome!

Ms. Harris,, Your GIFT with story telling is phenomenal. But your grammar and spelling is terrible. I read the author note you left to address this but it's not quite enough. I understand that you write how your characters speak and think. But some mistakes have nothing to do with that. Split vs spilt. Lavender vs lavende. These are just some that threw me. Also character POV switching was atrocious. As was switching from first person to third person. You need a better editor. If you're already aware of this, then I extend my apologies. I have seen improvement as you release more stories. I refuse to remove stars though because your stories need to be read. They are absolutely phenomenal in my opinion. I HIGHLY recommend all your stories. I am impatiently awaiting your next release. Please keep writing.

Ouch, where do you start with this one? Forgiving a man who caused the death of a child? Not so easy. But finding out he was drugged, well that just adds to the turmoil, because then he is the good man you believed him to be, but acted out under the influence of drugs.

Chey led Celt a merry dance in this book, and she made no bones about taking Celt down. Chey wanted Celt to pay for his crime and then had no clue what to do when she discovered what role Zeus played in destroying their relationship.

Unfortunately we've seen lots of times where drugs have caused men and women to do awful things when they're actually good people. I felt the author portrayed this cleverly and beautifully. This was a great read.

Awesome

I loved this book but then again I say that about every single one. Every time a new one comes out I drop everything to start it because I know it's going to be good but I know I'm going to be disappointed that it ends and I'll have to wait for the next one.. Not going to explain the book as most will on other reviews and synopsis but if you're up to date on Elizabeth's books then I don't need too because you'll be just as eager as me to start. If you aren't up to date then start with Rage MC first and lucky you starting with so many books to read!!

This book was fantastic I loved it it resenated with me a little with the stalker having found myself with been followed myself so I know how she felt but that is the reality of the times we live in right now. It was nice to see the time with Zeaus and what they had to deal with but the shame of them is hard and there trying to make a mends and I'm glad that she stuck up for herself I'm hoping were going to see some more of Hellfire and we get to see able to walk again sometime and maybe a baby because I will so pre order it because I need more of this series.

That was crazy!! How can people b so psycho? Even though he didn't remember the 1 night that destroyed everything, he will figure out what happened then and now in the present. Cynanne and her band deserves a yrs break. But her and her son keep on getting a raw deal. But when shit hits the fan he will do everything 2 find her along with the police and FBI. What will they find that's the question. Things will find away 2 help her family heal from psychotic assholes. It was really potent on their fear but knowing that deep down good will trump evil so how. I can't believe how it turned out.

This is Book 3 in the Hell Fire MC. OMG!!! The fireworks between Celt and Chey are out of this world! And I don’t mean that in a good way, either. The events between these two are huge and hard to overcome. Abuse, hate, stalking, love. Yes, we have it all in this book. Some isn’t remembered while some you wish could be forgotten. I have to say though, that this book is my favorite of them all so far. Now I’m going to the next book.

Great addition

Great addition to the series. Celt and Chey's store !add me think about a lot of things and made me look deep inside my self to find out if I would be able to get passed the same incident that they had to in order to come together in the end. All I know is it would take me a while. Over all awesome book

Celt and Cheyenne’s story by Elizabeth N Harris

This book was about how people can see or hear something and decide what is right with out knowing all the facts. This makes them jump to conclusions that aren’t right. That is what happened to Celt and Chey. Throw in a couple of crazy people and you have a few twists that make the book enjoyable to read.

I struggled with this one!

This story has potential, but Chey and her Jessie ruined this story for me! I understood Chey's hatred initially, but after so long, I was over it, and Jessie was seriously disrespectful and rude. I honestly feel as though Clet deserved better, but anyways, on to the next!

This book fell short for me. I still enjoyed it but I just couldn't gel with the characters. I will continue to read the series as I have enjoyed all the other books.

Characters not my favorite

I didn't really like Chey, Cleft or Jesse that much at all. Compound that with non US terms and wording and it drove me crazy. I liked everyone else though. There are some really sad deaths too...kind of a depressing book.

I feel like these books are missing the middle of the story. There is the beginning, which explains the H and h story and conflict.. Then there is the end, where they are back together and all is peachy. But not middle part that explains how they got the end and overcame their conflict?

Awe, this was so good.

Wow, Elizabeth did a wonderful job with this story. There's a lot of layers to peal back. Much to uncover. Mystery and the MC way. There's more I could say, but not without revealing what happened.
