First Lessons: from the journals of Emma Curtis Hopkins

Rate this book
The lessons presented in this book are taken from a set of Emma Curtis Hopkins' journals found in the Archives of the International New Thought Alliance in Mesa, Arizona. Dated 1887, they appear to be the earliest form of her variations on, and expansion of, Mary Baker. Eddy’s teachings.Rev. Joanna Rogers spent years searching various collections of Hopkins’ material, both in the Archives of the International New Thought Alliance and elsewhere. Rogers found and edited this material and published it in a spiral-bound format for her own students to use. Rev. Ruth Miller worked with WiseWoman Press to publish it for the many people who have discovered the power of - and the many more who are just discovering - the teachings of "Beloved Emma."
