After tragedy strikes their relationship, Luke does what he does best—he runs. Away from his feelings. Away from his demons. Away from Ali.

Luke must learn to move past the old habits, the guilt, and the self-doubt to be the man she deserves. Ali is the one who makes him happy, gives him a reason to strive to be a better person—a reason to love and be loved. She’s the light to his darkness.

Yet, if he wins back her heart, he knows she’ll leave her dreams in the dust to be with him.

Will he fight to win her heart? Will he let her give up her dreams to be with him? Or will he walk away to protect himself from the very thing he loves? Her.

If you haven’t read this series yet, what are you waiting for?!

Her is the second book in the Restoration Series and definitely the book I’ve been waiting for since Him. This book takes a look through Luke’s perspective on things after Him. J.M. Elliot does an amazing job giving Luke his voice throughout and really building up his character to lead you up to the final book, Us. Luke’s emotions are raw and real which has you cheering him on throughout.

Loved it and can’t wait for book 3!!

This was an amazing continuation of Ali and Luke's story. Where the first book, Him, is all in Ali's voice, Her, takes up the story in Luke's voice. And what a voice it is! I loved going through the ups and downs in the relationship between these two complicated characters along with Luke - he has a unique way of looking at things :-)!

I love how the author takes us thru his point of view on how he feels about her and their relationship and everything that happens thru the whole series of events. Reading the first book ‘Him’ is definitely helpful to understanding the whole thing and to get both sides.

Anxious to see what happens with the rest of the story and how they deal with it all together. Great job!

Well done

This story is well written. It isn't easy to write from the opposite gender's perspective. It's the right balance of description and dialogue. The storyline is engaging. I liked it. Good job.

Steamy!!

I actually love that this book is in Luke’s POV. I love reading male POV’s and would welcome more of them! It was sexy, gritty, raw and I loved it. Watch all the emotional stuff Ali went through from Luke’s perspective…yes! This book makes me want so many more male only POV books.

Him is great, Her is even better!
The switch to his pov is… *chef’s kiss*. Getting an entire book from his pov is not something I’ve seen a lot of and I love it and want more.

I love dual POV books, so after the first book (all from Ali’s perspective) it was so great to see things from Luke’s perspective. Though he’s still the goofy heartthrob from book one, he’s got so many layers to him, I love him even more than I thought I could. Their story is sometimes sweet, sometimes sad, sometimes sexy and above all REAL.
