EXCUSE ME. What did I just read—and why did it end in an hour?! This was my first book by these authors and I’m already side-eyeing them like: ma’am, what do you MEAN this is a novella?? You can’t just throw me into a whirlwind of backstabbing MC members, club girls with main character delusions, not one—but TWO kidnappings, unexplained tactical training, and a BLACK ROOM where the MMC demands to be called Master (hello?!) and then just PEACE OUT after, like, 70 pages???
Let’s talk about the FMC’s dad—this man drops a fat stack of cash and drugs in her lap, betrays the club, and the book’s like “anyway, moving on…” NO. No moving on. I demand explanations. I demand more pages. I demand THERAPY.
My brain short-circuited trying to keep up with all this chaos with zero backstory or character development to hold my hand. You ever feel like your eyeballs are sprinting but your brain is crawling? That was me. BUT ALSO—I loved the potential. The plot was giving main meal, but I was served a sample spoon.
This isn’t a novella. This is a damn tease. A flirt. A literary one-night stand. AND I AM UNSATISFIED. I need the full 300+ page version with backstory, training montages, dark room shenanigans, emotional damage, and some damn answers.
Wow although this is a novella it's steamy and dark in places this reminded me so much of the men from den of vipers.i only wish this book was longer.i really enjoyed this novella
My first book by this author and I liked. Pulled me into the story of Saint, his MC and Chastity. She’s a tattoo artist and he’s head of the Hells MC. He has his men pick her up when her dad who she hasn’t seen since she was five betrayed the club. It’s dark and hotness bundled in a compact story that had me wanting more.
Whew! This was a sizzling over the top ride right from the start. Saint and Chastity were perfect together. I loved the action and the drama and all the steam. Great read.
Motorcycle club vibes with this one, kind of enemies to lovers but it's too short to really do it justice and the characters fell flat for me. The plot line wasn't amazing (for me personally) as it felt extremely rushed and for the FMC to get kidnapped twice in such a short book was just bizarre. There were too many elements to this novella to do any of it justice but my biggest issue was the poor editing. Some small typos I can forgive (we're all human) but there were sentences that doubled up at one point. If it had been any longer then I probably would have DNF!
This book has nothing, barely a plot and sounds as if a 10 year old wrote it as a plan for a story im so but no but read it in 15 minutes so if you like bare short stories this book is perfect for you
Quick easy read! The smut isn't till the end which is nice I think i personally would of liked more information on the ending but the ending it has makes sense and works.
book was all over the place, felt very rushed and spelling was so bad. also what is a cut he is removing his cut? would have been better as a 500page read 📚
Saint, the DSMC prez, takes betrayal and loyalty as seriously as one can. When Burn is "convicted" of betraying the club, Saint takes out the problem. Then, he orders his club to find and retrieve Burn's daughter. Chastity received a letter from Burn warning her to run and run far. She was not close with her father, but this letter shook her to her core. She didn't even have time to process the news before the club found her. Rake and Scar tell her and Ella that they have no choice in coming with them. The meeting between Saint and Chastity was explosive. From there, the book kicks off.
It's a short story, fast read, with tons of action packed into 40 some-odd pages. There were a few editing mistakes. It changed from 1st person PoV to 3rd mid-chapter. I didn't really like the honorifics part, simply because it was not communicated and agreed upon beforehand. Consent should have been discussed before that.
