A sweet rhyming book with diversity represented in the bright, colourful illustrations. However, there is no mention of the importance of consent and the right to say no to a kiss. These lines were particularly concerning:
"Sometimes you might hide from one,
or think a kiss can be outrun,
but every kiss is superfast,
and once they land,
they last and last."

3 stars (I liked it)
I like the message about enduring love and how family is there whenever you need them. I also like the diverse range of characters in this book. I didn't love how it didn't mention consent and one part even had the kids hiding from the kiss and that makes me feel a little icky. I'm sure that's not what the author was trying to convey but I think it's important that kids know it's okay to say no.

Love the message about the power of love behind a kiss. Kisses stay with you at any age when they are given with love. The rhyming text moves readers through all sorts of scenarios where the love stays. Endearing illustrations help emphasize the story's message.

This book in incredibly cute! The message it sends to the reader is heartfelt and warm without being overbearing and the illustrations are whimsical and fun! A great book for families to read together.
