Buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously dark story . There will be betrayal, danger, revenge, suspense, violence kidnapping, and so much more. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Artyom sexy as all get out dangerous son of a bratva family who has a reputation of messing up trying to get in good with his father again he is running the gentleman’s club to prove his loyalty his father demands he get married (of course being the Bratva his father will be picking his bride) Ksenia daughter of a screw up in the bratva eye’s, to save his life he has to force his daughter to marry but she isn’t going to do this quietly because who would take care of her sisters if she is forced to marry because her father has proven he doesn’t love or care enough. Artyom is willing to date her or try to at least gain her interest get her to like him, but she is so upset with her father for forcing her to pay his debt and things are going easy as planned in fact if she marries him, she will be dragged kicking and screaming to the alter. But maybe just maybe Artyom will be able to convince her to marry him, will her father pay for his deeds, will she be able to continue to take care of her sisters, will they get married and if so can she be happy?

I absolutely loved the book, the story was written well and the characters were amazing. Artyom disrespected the family name, now he tries to make up for hi mistake and prove to his father so he runs the Gentlemen's Club (Grey Wolf) on a tight rope. Artyom is the second son and now he must marry to prove to his father and the Bratva back home. Igor Popov is a disgrace to his family but they have a strong family line, now he has to pay with his daughter or he will be killed. So both Artyom Orlov and Ksenia Popov has an arranged marriage. Artyom insists they will wed while Ksenia is trying to get out of it, he insists they are to get the engagement ring while she makes excuses. But something bad happens can things change for the better or will everything come to a head. There was a lot of action, survival, twist and turns, chaos, kidnapping, enemies, engagement, determination, family, trauma, stubborn, protection, conflict, passion, lust, euphoria and lots more. The book takes you by the shirt and want let go until the very end. I enjoyed the story that I will read it again when I get more to the series.

Artyom, better than he thought!
I never heard of any Black people who went to Russia attempting to escape racism and discrimination yet many did leave this country and history rarely records where they end up. That aside part of the family was exiled back to America proving to be the undoing of Ksenia and her sisters' father! To settle his current debt and elevate Artyom's dad in the Bratva, Ksenia was pledged to Artyom! What began as a marriage of duty quickly turned to one of love when these two found themselves attracted to each other! Artyom showed his mettle when he protected Ksenia and her younger sisters and stopped Ksenia's mother from taking her for her own agenda after abandoning her daughters years earlier! Overall I enjoyed this story and look forward to the stories of each of Artyom's brothers.

This is a book in The Dark Side Series and it is Artyom and Ksenia's story. Wow I absolutely loved this book with all it's twists and turns along with action, danger, kidnapping, enemies, hope, family and some difficult and dangerous situations and I couldn't put it down as the characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention right throughout the book and I can't wait to read more books in this series. Shyla Colt certainly knows how to keep her reader's on the edge of their seats while reading her books and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed.

The Dark Side series is a 14 book series written by a variety of authors, short, fast reads, but filled with action, sizzle, steam. And, best of all, they are available on Kindle Unlimited to read for free. This book is Artyom and Ksenia story. He is the disgraced son of a high level Bratva leader trying to redeem himself in his father's eyes. She is the daughter of a low level mobster, protecting her sisters and the brains behind her father's operation. Artyom's father arranges their marriage, but Artyom decides instead of forcing this union, they date, get to know each other, and let it grow. And grow it does. This book has great pace, sizzle, steam, action, some twists, and more. Solid read

This book is part of the multi-author The Dark Side series featuring Artyom and Ksenia's deliciously dark and twisted story. Their story is riveting full of danger, suspense, betrayal, sizzling chemistry etc. We get an idea within the first few chapters of who all of the players are but by the time that you figure out what they're up to and who's who it's too late. You're hooked and this story has you in it's grasp. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting dark and twisted story. I would recommend reading this book.

I loved Shyla Colt's foray into the world of the Bratva. This was a great, fast paced, story with a few twists and turns. Artyom and Ksenia are two people forced into marriage - each with their own reasons for going through with it and each dealing with it in their own way. I loved that both of these characters were strong, loyal, and family was everything for them. It was great seeing their journey as they tried to navigate the circumstances they found themselves in. As the story progresses they both discover that this marriage may not be so bad after all. This was a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This is an exciting story that keeps you glued to the pages. Artyom is trying to make amends by running the gentlemen's club. To prove his loyalty to his father and the Bratva, he must marry. Igor is another disgrace and in order to live his daughter has to marry Artyom. As he tries to move ahead with the plans Ksenia is pulling out all stops to keep from marrying him. As the drama heats up and chaos comes at them will they make it to a happily ever after and will Ksenia make good on getting revenge for her father? This story is well written and packed with action from start to finish!

Really enjoyed the story of Artyom and Ksenia. Artyom has been told that he will be marrying Ksenia. He's not too happy about that but he needs to stay in his fathers good graces. Ksenia isn't happy at all to be bartered off to Artyom Orlov. She is her own person and will not be bought and sold. Great story of two people who have never met each other before and end up respecting and loving each other. From the first page to the end it was a wonderful story. . But then they meet and their chemistry is like a wildfire that explodes, burning hot out of control, I love that they have chemistry and although they try to fight it, love ultimately wins over family loyalty.
A great addition to the series which I read on Kindle Unlimited.

The plot revolved more around bratva business and her family than their relationship. Every aspect of both was unfinished, just mentioned or irrelevant.

Artyom was a quick and sexy mafia read by Shyla Colt. It was well written, action packed, had great word building and character development. Even though it’s a quick read, the authors are able to draw you into the action and storyline. Artyom and Ksenia were fantastic together, their chemistry was off the charts. They were also stubborn and headstrong which made for an interesting relationship.
