This book just made me happy! It was quick, swoon worthy, low angst, amazing chemistry! It was awesome!
Giana and Henry have a one night stand while she is in town. Once she leaves, neither one of them cannot forget about it. Now that she is back in town and they see each other, they pick up right where they left all. The only problem is that she is doing work for his family, and he doesn't know about it. So, they decide to just be friends while she is in town, but let's face it, they can never just be friends.
I love Henry!! No one really takes him seriously, but Giana does. He was super sweet and caring and did the whole friend thing, just to make Giana happy and still see her all the time.
Cannot wait for the next one!

Love Like Lightning by Jean Marie is a one night stand to lovers romance and is the second book of the Wright Brothers series. This book can be read as a standalone.
Gianna is in town one night on business and meets the handsome Henry and leaves town. Gianna’s job brings her back to town, but complications get in the way of Gianna and Henry having a relationship.
I really enjoyed this story and was sad that it was over. This is a high steam low angst story. I appreciate Henry can be vulnerable with Gianna. I also like that Gianna took a risk with Henry. There is also an Easter egg from Carraway series also by Jean Marie. I can’t wait for the next book of the series.

A quick, fast, low angst, but quite steamy read. Giana is in town for the night and makes the most of it with Henry, whom she just met. The night has stuck with both of them, but it can go no further. Until unexpectedly, Giana returns to CO, and their paths cross again. Secrets, and twists, lead to complications. Will they get beyond friendship? I loved the chemistry between Giana and Henry.

This was a fun, steamy read. Gianna and Henry have instant chemistry and after a one night stand Gianna is back in town and the two can’t stay apart. A conflict arises when Gianna begins to work for Henry’s family and the couple must work around some difficult feelings. Henry has to take a stand and ensure that his family treats him as an adult and not just the baby of the family anymore.
This was a fun read and I enjoyed watching the characters grow.

What a witty, fun, deliciously spicy read!! Gianna and Henry's story is beyond what I expected, the twist and turns had me sucked from the very first words. A chance meeting and instant chemistry. The characters are genuine and their emotions are real, absolutely loved the connection. Loved. Every. Minute. Of. This. Book.

I loved this story. It had so much passion and then followed it up with all the trials and tribulations that would destroy most couples. It also had the perfect sprinkle of breadcrumbs for what is to come in this series. I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading Love Like Lightning.

Fantastic
Loved Gia and Henry (Hammer). Gia is in town to help Henry’s parents with getting their B&B back on top. Not knowing that Henry was their son the two of them hook up. When she finds out she tells him they can only be friends. That didn’t last long at all. They finally after ups and downs figure out that love trumps everything else.

Sweet story in Ever Lake
This is a fun read. I love how the town and the citizens are described, and learning more about their inner circles. Looking forward to more Ever Lake stories in the future!

Oh. My. Goodness. Gia and Henry are ABSOLUTELY going to steal your heart and blow your mind! Jean Marie totally outdid herself with this GLORIOUS book! I love this series and I cannot wait to get more of these characters! I am loving the entire Wright family so much! See y'all on another page!
