As a hunter for the gods, Zeus rewarded me with a place among the stars. An honor few mortals achieved.Stars can only burn so bright, and my time as one has ended.Cast to Earth as a fallen star, my starlight dwindles by the day and will expend within twelve moons.Sought by my enemies, my starlight their fuel, this hunter has become the hunted. It is up to me to save my sisters that fell with me, before we all perish. But the adversary I’m meant to destroy are my soul mates. Destined to complete me. Save me. Fallen Starlights is a shared universe where the stars fall to Earth in human form. This is the second book in the series.
Orion is an unusual mix between feisty huntress, and naïve innocent out of her time. Her mates are an interesting combination of a shifter, a demon and a vampire. The story has a lot of action in a short period of time. Each story in the shared universe has a HEA, although I'm curious how much, if any, cross over there will be between the books.
A brilliant story laced with mythology in a modern-day world. Orion is a fallen star, tasked by Zeus to save her sisters. The world she knew is nothing like the world that now greets her. Cars, supermarkets, and even a Twix are enough to throw her off balance. Then there are the three guys she meets, a shifter, a demon, and a vampire are an interesting mix.
I absolutely loved Orion's confusion and some of the words she comes out with that confuse these modern-day characters.
The story is multiple POVs so we get to see all sides of the story which I love as we get to see each character through another's eyes. And while the story is part of the Fallen Starlights series, it can be read as a standalone. I'll definitely be giving the others in this series a read as well.
So this paranormal romantic comedy is the second book in the fallen starlight series. It’s well written and features a devilish vampire, wicked demon and gruff werewolf. It’s a fun gripping storyline that drew me into this amazing world and has a kick ass heroine and a great spin on mythology! Suspense, mystery, love and humour, it’s a great addition to this series!
Orion is the first book that I've read in the Fallen Starlight series. Huntress of the gods - Orion is given a task on Earth by Zeus but its not as easy as she thinks. Mainly with her being a goddess in the modern age and she's completely out of sorts. More so when she attracts the attention of Wolf - Ace, Demon - Vice and Vampire - Reznor. I loved Orion. She's strong, smart and determined but she also has her own insecurities. Especially when it comes to men. This was a cracking read with brilliant characters. Loved it
A hilarious and unique take on Greek mythology that’s sure to please!
Orion: Galaxy Huntress, the second book in the Fallen Starlight series, by Skyler Andra was a fun comedic take on a mixed paranormal RH with an interesting plot and fun storyline that’s sure to please any mythology paranormal fated mate romance lover out there!
Orion, our fearless FMC, is a fallen starlight tasked by the Gods to return to Earth to protect her sisters. It should have been an easy job, however fate intervenes in the form of a hot devilish vampire, a wickedly tempting demon and a sexy gruff werewolf and sets our heroine on another path. Orion's journey is one filled with adventure and personal growth…and of course some sexy time with her men along the way and is a definite must read!
This story was a humorous read and I loved how the characters developed throughout the story. The story flowed beautifully and kept us entertained with several adventures, battles and lots of emotions and chemistry. Written in multiple POVs, it also gave us a chance to really get to know each character which made for a well rounded story.
Overall if you love a good fast burn paranormal romantic comedy based on some Greek myths, featuring a diverse group of alpha males and a frosty heroine this story is for you! And if you haven’t read the others in the series yet, no worries as each novel in the series is a standalone story about a different heroine and her own unique story so read on!
Orion is a woman with a mission: as a fallen starlight she is tasked by the Gods to protect her sisters who fell from the stars as well, and are threatened by the Umbra. But the world she ends up in has changed a lot since the last time she walked the earth…
Orion is a multiple POV standalone in the fallen starlight series. After reading Danica by Gina Manis I was curious to see the spin Skyler Andra would take on the concept and I was pleasantly surprised. Orion is written in an entirely personal style, with precisely enough links to the rest of the series to see how they are connected. Still, they can all be read separately. I enjoyed the humor that was a part of this story, the way Orion describes Australia while having no clue what everything is. The only sad part was that the humor got a little lost the longer the story lasted. Maybe because I didn’t really like Vice who had his own type of humor; I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with the demon. I did like Ace and Orion a lot though!
Usually when I start a book I finish it before I start another one. Unless we're doing a buddy read or unless I'm reading some brick that takes away the satisfaction of finishing a book for a few days. However, yesterday I was reading a book and I was actually dreading picking it back up. Since I didn't have a great day to begin with, I decided to just go where my gut guided me and it led me to this arc. I already was excited about this series and now I could finally read an installment!
Once more Andra shows that she's an amazing author. She's incredibly talented when it comes to finding the right voice for the characters. I barely have to check who's point of view chapter I'm reading, because once I get used to their way of talking and thinking I simply know it. I especially loved Orion's voice. Since she understands nothing of technology it's already clear she's not from our time, but her voice only enhances that feeling.
I also quite enjoyed Orion's personal journey. I'm usually a number one Zeus hater, but in this case he might have actually done something right for once. Although, Orion's story pales compared to the stories of her demon and her vampire. Both the demon and the vampire showed some amazing character growth. I loved how they were constantly challenged and confronted with their own fears and limitations.
Although this story is mostly a personal journey, focussing on the emotional challenges the characters are facing and the romance between them, slowly bringing these characters together and teaching them how to love, there is a little more plot than that. I have to admit that eventually those plots are solved relatively easily, but I liked how these threats added conflict to the book and forced the characters to make some almost impossible choices.
I'm even more curious about the other books in this series now!
A Demon, a werewolf, and a Vampire walk into a bar! Oh yes, Author Skyler Andra has struck gold again in the form of a Fallen Star named Orion. What I love is that the author gives us a small background bio on Greek myths about our fearless Huntress. Another fabulous detail that should never go unnoticeable is with each chapter, so the reader doesn't forget is the picture of what species the characters are above their name. If you ask me, every Author should do that!
Now onto the story without giving a lot away. Orion is not just a heavenly body with a pretty face. Oh no, she is far from that. She is pure energy and that makes her such a huge target for anyone that looks to gain from her blood alone. Always on guard, weary of strangers especially men, can Orion accept that she has not 1,2 but 3 Mates before she tries to gut them?? Read for yourself!!

This was an enjoyable and sometimes also fun RH story with fallen star Orion, appearing on Earth after millennia and being totally hopeless in the modern world. But not helpless, despite all odds. Especially the odds of being mated to a wolf whose pack is at the brink of war with another pack and has no time or need for a mate, a vampire who plays for the enemy team in the first place, and a crossroads demon whose sole purpose in life is to screw everyone over. Good luck to Orion to not get mad with those three around! Nicely written, with some hilarious scenes and numerous plot twists. Orion definitely had her hands full trying to establish her place among the men, and those three were even more occupied by trying to get her protective walls down. It was easy to read and create connection with the heroine. Great to take my mind off the reality :)
I was hooked from the first page of this book. A fallen Starlight tasked to return to earth to save her sisters. As Orion hadnt been on earth since the time of the ancient Greeks times have changed more than a little and the concept she had of the modern world was quite funny. It was a foregone conclusion that I would like this book as I am a sucker for shifters and Ace or Stormy as Orion calls him is a wolf shifter... yummy! This was a really good standalone read and although I initially read this book because of the author I am now looking to read the other books in this series. 100% recommend
I look forward to anything written by Andra so I just had to try this newest one. I was not disappointed in the slightest as we dive into a world where humans were made into stars but now their time is up causing them to become fallen stars. Each book has a different author working with an amazing shared world. For this one we Orion as she falls into a world she knows nothing about. She is tasked by Zeus to return to Earth in order to protect her sisters. Little did she know that a vampire, a demon, and a werewolf would change things for her even more making for a great romantic comedy as it all plays out. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Orion is a fallen starlight, tasked to protect her sisters who fell as well. Threatened by the Umbra, Orion has a lot to learn about the world she used to know.
The plot was interesting and had me invested from the start. The author does a great job in story telling, describing everything so their audience can see what they want them to. With the multiple POVs, it helped get a well rounded story so that we're not stuck with one side of it.
Some of the fun of the story cane from the humor that Orion, Vice and Ace share, but this would have been done best in a shorter story. The longer the story went on, the less their humor worked, and while I enjoyed the book, it did seem to drag in the end.
Mythology is my jam so I was so excited to read this book. This RH is a fast burn in a series of standalone novels. I love a strong FMC and Orion fits the bill. She’s on the hunt for her sisters so she can protect them and she of course meets some sexy men along the way. The character development is great and the attention to detail is perfection. I wish the book had been longer cause I wanted to know even more! I loved how fun the book was, I wasn’t expecting the humor. Well done Skyler on another great book!
It's no secret that I devour all things mythology, especially Greek mythology, so when I was offer the opportunity to read this book, I was in with the first sentence of the blurb when I saw Zeus mentioned. I also enjoy the writings of Ms Andra. This book did not disappoint. It has an wonder story with a fresh story that is something I have never seen before, which quite hard at this point with as much as I read. The characters are wonderful, especially Orion the FLC, who is strong yet vulnerable when called for in the story. Her hunky mates are well fleshed-out as well, making for lovely read that kept me interested from chapter one until The End.
Took me out of space and time in this romance read
Orion, a star in the cosmos, has been given a task by Zeus to help her sisters that have fallen from the heavens. As the story progresses a deal is made, a fate is sealed, and finding a path for happiness is not as straight as they wish. Skyler Andra took me out of space and time in this romance read. I really hope that we will get to see more of Orion, Ace, Vice, and Reznor.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This book was Ahhhmazing!!! It had everything I could want in a book!!! Bad heroine ready to the world ✅ Bloody, anger issues warning wolf shifter thats ready to anything to save his pack✅✅ Heartbroken, lonely vampire that wants to escape his existence in his coven✅✅ Sarcastic, naughty cross roads Demon ready to make a deal and screw you over✅✅ And finally very hot and steamy times✅✅✅!!! So so good!!!😍😘😍😘
Orion was a hunter in the stars per Zeus. Now her starlight is starting to dim and she’s falls to earth. Bit now the Gods have tasked her to save her sisters that fell with her.But the world has changed a lot since she was there. Plus the Umbra are searching for her! They hunt her but their is a twist! This was a wonderful storyline with a RH and had fun moments that leave you wanting more! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Orion is a fallen star on a mission from the Gods to protect her sisters who have fallen from the stars and keep them safe from the Umbra. She finds that the world is not the same as it was when she was there before. She meets her mates a demon, vampire and a shifter. There is a lot of humor in the confusing environment for Orion. There is action, a history in mythology and strong character development. It was a page turner from the first chapter.
A fast paced romance that will have you seeing falling stars. Orion was taught to us to be a man but in this story will learn that he is really a she. She earned her place in the stars by protecting Zeus. But now he has made her fall to earth. Orion is a smart and strong willed woman but she can also kick behind without any problems. But add vampires, demons and wolf shifters to the story and anything could happen. Plenty adventure, hotness and some interesting romance.
Orion: Galaxy Huntress was such a unique story! Orion is a fallen starlight tasked with protecting her fellow fallen sister starlights. With fun mythological aspects, bantering humor, and great characters, book 3 in this series was a great treat! I hope to check out more in this series to see how the other authors tell these tales.
Book 3 in Andra's Fallen Starlights series. Well written and captivating from the very beginning - a great read if you love greek mythology - this provides and interesting twist. Loved the characters loved the twist! Perfect multi- point of view. An overall great read!
I received this book for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.
This was a fun fast-burn romance that had fab characters. The fmc was strong and it did take work to sort out her three guys, along with her task, but with a ton of action, emotions, humour and steam, it was also a fast paced read ;) I really enjoyed how this one unfolded and look forward to what's next by this author :)
This is the first book i read from this author and i have to say that i truly liked it . The characters were fun to read and well read and the story was interesting. The only sad part for me is that i truly had a hard time connecting with the book so it took me like for ever to read. I wasn't able to connect with the FMC but had absolutely a blast with the MCs. All in all i did enjoy reading this book.
Orion is one of my favorite constellations so when I heard about this book just for the title I had to have it. Bonus is it's written by Skyler. It is in a shared universe but can be read as standalone alone. I enjoyed the humor in this story and of course Orion. She's a fallen starlight sent to earth to help. Dropped in Australia of all places this leads to her mates if you will. Loved it but did feel dragging in the end so it could of been shorter but I liked it.
What a fun read! This is great story with mythology aspects and I was all here for it. Orion is a fall star and has to help her sisters, tasked by Zeus. I loved the elements of the plot, I was engaged through the whole book and I really enjoyed the characters, they have addictive personalities that I enjoyed. Such a fun read from start to finish!
I so love mythology stories. This one is high up on my favorites list. Very well written. Absolutely loving the characters. These books are all part of a shared universe and now I kind of want to read the others in the series. Definitely a must read. Especially if you love mythology like me. Looking forward to reading what this author writes next.
I had a blast reading the story. It’s the second one in a great shared world and I loved it. The characters had me laughing so much and the plot kept me entertained throughout the story. I loved the Greek myth elements that were woven into the great story. I look forward to getting to read more stories in this amazing shared world.
Orion is a starlight, that’s been cast to Earth, and tasked with finding and saving her sisters stars that have also fallen. I really enjoyed all the men, each were unique, diverse, and with flaws. A very good story, with strong world building, great character development, and terrific humor.
I always live a good greek mitology book and this One isn't an exception. Orion is a Huntress and we get to see her in her element. The plot is interesting and easy to follow. It makes want to read other books from the series.
