This is Ashley Samuels brand new book that is all Shane! Torment will be out on January 15th!

I want to start this review by just saying if you haven’t checked out the first two books in the Dynasty series make sure you go and do that. Ashley is an amazing author and I am so happy to be apart of her street team. Her writing is unique and so creative. Her first ever series is a beautiful one that I really think you will all love a lot. ❤️

Wow, this book was exactly what I needed after finishing Pursuit. This book is Shane’s POV from the first book and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I loved seeing the banter between Shane and the others, it was so funny and honestly kinda adorable with their bromance. It was really great seeing all of what Shane does for everyone and how much he cares for everyone as well as how sweet he was to Kat. This book is action packed! From to start to finish I was hooked into the plot. Shane is such a great character and seeing his POV just added to my love for him! Gah, I could go on and on about this book, but you just need to read the series for yourself and trust me you’ll be hooked!!

This is the third book in the Dynasty series by the lovely @ashleysamuelsauthor 💗. I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this one and I absolutely loved it! The book follows Shane’s perspective as it retells the story of Discovered (book 1!).
I have been eagerly awaiting the next book in the Dynasty Series after book 2 blew me away! This one as always did not disappoint. I was so invested in Shane’s story and I loved how different it was despite it being set as a retelling of book one. I did not find this repetitive at all and it pieced together so many little things that I would have otherwise missed!
It was very emotional in places (surprisingly more so than the other books, although I may have been in an emotional mood when I binge read this 😂). Sam still has my heart, I think even more after this book, he’s just the sweetest. Torment is full of action, suspense and lots of romance!
Overall, I would highly recommend this one! I cannot wait for book 4, I need answers. Although, slightly worried as you never know what Ashley has up her sleeve 😂😬.

Torment the third book in the Dynasty Series and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed reading in Shane’s perspective as you got see more of his character and backstory. This book was quite an emotional read at times showing a more vulnerable side to him. If this man hadn’t already stole my heart from the very beginning of the series, he has it even more now if that’s even possible.
Even though this book has the same events as book one it didn’t make me bored because I knew what was happening, instead it made me more invested, excited for the drama an action seeing it from Shane’s perspective.
You got to see more insight into the everyday life of the compound and the looming threat of the mole and the Mancini’s. A closer look into not only his relationship with Kat, but the relationship between Shane’s friends. It was just nice a heart-warming to see how they looked out for him and the bond they all share. Supporting him through his grief and hardships.
I really can’t wait to read Captive #4 when it comes out after the ending of book 2. I’m excited but nervous, however I know for certain I will be a mess when reading it because these characters have a hold on me

Torment is the third book in the Dynasty series and I have to say it, it’s my favourite so far. Ashley has done it again, I absolutely loved hearing “Book One: Discovered” from Shane’s perspective 🧡
The series is full of Action, Drama and Romance and this book being Shane’s story had more of the Boy stuff, more of the Guards Training and I really liked that! I felt like it was a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of what goes on for the day-to-day running of the Dynasty Compound!
In Pursuit my love shifted to Toby, and although he is still on that pedestal, I am back to Team Shane again - maybe just temporarily who knows! I’ve said it before and I will say it again I need one of these Guards in my life, please!
I Cannot Wait For The Next One - Book 4: Checkmate and I really do recommend this series because it just keeps on giving!

Drama that will leave you wanting more!
I love all of this authors work, and this book is amazing. We get to see Shane’s pov and I loved every minute of it. I have feel in love with Shane more.

This is a retelling of Ashley's first book Discovered, through Shane's eyes. Let me tell you, I absolutely love seeing everything through the man's perspective. The heartbreak, the fight to stay away, the fall, and the realization he would never be able to stay away. Everything was to perfection! Even though I knew what was going to happen, it never felt repetitive or boring. It was actually more action packed and exciting because we saw everything that happened on the compound that Kat didn't because she was being kept away from things. I said this before and I'll say it again, I love how different this series is. I've never read a story like this before and it captivates you and keeps you wanting more, never feeling like you have gotten enough before it ends. Though I knew what was coming, seeing everything through Shane's eyes kept my heart beating and seeing his feelings for Kat throught his eyes just made me love him more than I ever thought I could. All the other characters were brought out in a new light as well because Shane has known most of them way longer than Kat. So you get to know them better and see them differently as well. Could not put this book down and I cannot wait for more from this series!

Torment is book three in the Dynasty series and covers the events of the first book Discovered but from Shane's perspective.
When we meet Shane, he has been struggling for five years after losing his previous love and their child. He has not dated, barely sleeps, and has not moved on emotionally from such a profound loss; instead coping by burying himself in his work. As head of security for the Hungerford family and the compound, he is in charge of Kat's protection when she arrives and needs her family's protection. Kat seems to charm almost everyone around her, so is it unexpected that Shane will slowly drop his walls while protecting her?
While the storyline was not new, it was nice to see Shane's side of the story and understand better his thinking, emotions and situations that were going on where Kat was not aware. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until book 4 to find out what happens to Kat after the cliffhanger in book two, but I am still enjoying the series. My rating is a 4 / 5 Stars.

Shane... Shane... Shane... Oh My Heart!
Well..... After reading Discovered (Kat's perspective) I thought Shane stole my heart but..... after reading Torment I can 100 percent confirm this broken and beautiful man has completely stolen my heart.
Can I man who lost the love of his life five years ago heal is heart and be able to love again?
Enter Katryn. The beautiful woman who may just be the answer to his shattered heart.
I loved every minute of diving back into this world that Ashley Samuels has created.
While the plot and characters felt familiar as we got Kat's perspective in Discovered, Torment was gripping, utterly captivating and heart stealing special.
As a reader, being blessed with Shane's POV was something I'm so glad we got to have. Reading his emotional perspective and seeing his internal battles and vulnerabilities brought out all the damn emotions.
I blubbered like a baby, swooned like crazy, laughed through all the banter and held my breath through the action (even though funnily enough I knew what was coming).
Seeing Kat and Shane's relationship makes me love them even more. But... their HEA journey I sense is far from over and O.M.G I can't wait for more (literally I can't wait! hehe).
Torment is another must read addition to this utterly addictive series!

My heart in this installment of the Dynasty Series by Ashley was familar yet so different and captivating. Reading Shane's view stole my heart and made me laugh, cry & swoon. I am 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 at how his version of events make us fall harder into this world and the Hungerford Dynasty.
Shane comes across more vunerable and softer within these pages and yet a 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧!

What I loved about this book was the banter between Shane and his guys like. The connection we feel is 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 and draws you in to devour this book. You feel Shane's emotions and this definitely will give you a rollercoaster of emotions.
I loved seeing the parts we didn’t see from Kat’s perspective in Discovered and seeing how his feelings were really mixed at the beginning and why!
Seeing their relationship and love grow will honestly leave you with 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨.

My heart in this installment of the Dynasty Series by Ashley was familar yet so different and captivating. Reading Shane's view stole my heart and made me laugh, cry & swoon. I am 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 at how his version of events make us fall harder into this world and the Hungerford Dynasty.
Shane comes across more vunerable and softer within these pages and yet a 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧!
