WEREWOLF HAPPY HOUR was a super short and extra sexy read with a bartender wolf, a newly single human, some fated mates, and a little bit of bondage. This was all basically sex but if you take it for what it is then it's a lot of fun and very hot. I really liked Tavia Lark's writing and I'm looking forward to reading more by them. Avery and Jack were both great characters and while we don't learn a lot about them there's enough of their personalities to grab onto and enjoy.

Navigating the gyrating, pulsing crowd was easy. There was a rhythm to moving around people, a pattern to the shifting spaces between, that Avery felt more than understood.

Everything about this spicy snack was perfect! This was my favorite Tavia Lark to date. Something about how the author immersed us in the club setting, and delivered aggressive proactive, enticing Avery to Jack was too good to put down.

"Hey there, handsome," Avery shouted up at him, and his entire face lit up with his grin. Jack's entire world lit up with his grin. "What took you so long?"

I have more highlights for this 39 page short then I do for some 500-word epic novels. Let's just sum things up - next time your in the mood for a spicy, 25-min read, pick this book!

I'd like to start with saying I loved the author's other books, so it was probably only this one. It just fall between two stools for me. For a romance it lacked the emotions and a plot, for erotica it was too chatty and not hot enough. If you're looking for something steamy from Ravia and don't mind reading a longer book - and be rewarded with a decent story too - I'd rather suggest The Sword-Witch's Heart.

A cute short about two young men, one a wolf shifter who works in a bar, and the other a cute non-shifter. There's an instant attraction but the shifter has a big secret he must reveal and it scares him that he may lose his chance with this gorgeous young man. It's simple and sweet, just young love that wins the night.

Short, hot, and fun! It's about the electric moment when two men who've been crushing on each other for months (one a wolf shifter) realize that they're mates. The explosive passion of two men completely in sync with each other is done really well. The club setting adds to the ambiance with the kind of hot dancing foreplay and grinding that's totally yummy. The bondage part alluded to in the blurb is very minimal (which I appreciated because that's not my thing). I would like more of the story after what is just their first night together. I've read the second in the series and it overlaps rather than expands on this story (and it's also very good). I would have given this four stars except for it's short story length. As it is I give it 3.5. A great quick, naughty read.

I read (and loved) 'A Game of Cat and Wolf' as part of the His Animal Instinct: More Tales of Wild Pleasure anthology which is the the story of Avery's BFF getting with his sexy alpha wolf. It starts with Avery and Cameron at the bar after Avery's breakup so I think it's an overlapping timeframe, definitely excited for more hot werewolf goodness!!!

This was a short sexy read about Avery (human) and Jack (wolf shifter) finding each other one night at the club that Jack works at as a bartender. Actually they've liked each other for awhile now and when they finally get to dance together Jack realizes that Avery is his mate. They were so hot together and Avery was adorable. It was a well implemented story with awesome character development. I definitely enjoyed this alluring read and I was pretty enthralled throughout the story. I like this author's style of writing and I will certainly be reading lots more by her. :)
