A thrilling story. Wonderful characters. Good plot.
A young lass escaping her cruel father and helping a prisoner out of the dungeon are on their way to a new life.
Many hardships are ahead, and a blossoming romance ensues to make this a very intense and enjoyable read. Lots of betrayals along with much humor. I enjoy a book with good bed sport, but this would have been a 5-star review with not so many episodes.
Epilogue was good and at end the Highland song was beautiful.
Always a Thank you for the larger print in the epilogues.
Mature reader: Descriptive intimacy.
Heat rating: very high.

This is a good story and a steamy one so you should read this author if you like steamy. Arya and Cohen met in her fathers dungeon and she helped him escape. He thought he was betrayed by one of his men but when he found out who wished him dead it was a surprise. The characters are brave and courageous The extended epilogue is also good. A enjoyable read

When Arya's father there her in the dungeon for being a very headstrong daughter and troubled daughter, she met Cohen who told her he was betrayed by someone in his clan. So she helped him escape and she went with him. When he learns who betrayed him and why, not once but twice, he couldn't believe it. So read and find out about the betrayal and see how Arya and Cohen found love during all it all.

Super good book.
This book was captivating right from the start and did not let up. It has splendid characters wonderful drama and it just a really good story. What I really liked that it was a blend of humor and serious and it was done in a brilliant way. I highly recommend this gem I hope you check it out.

This story is highly entertaining and these two characters are a lot of fun. This story is full of treachery, two crazy people, and an unknown evil. I loved the craziness and the evil that permeates our main characters. There is a terrible twist to this story that our hero and heroine must overcome. It 's a good thing that they love each other.

WOW!
This one was a surprise. I wondered if Sienna was a traitor but when she came to visit, I forgot her and thought it was Malcom. Lots of twists and turns. Very well done. Certainly kept me guessing. Definitely a great read. I believe you will enjoy this one as much as I did. Start reading. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Outstanding story!
This growing story is an adventure thru abuse to freedom to fight. Well woven plot centered around the love story of Arya & Cohen. Could not put this story down. It's on my list for reading again!

good historical romance
I enjoyed this story about Ayra and Cohen. I think it was a good romance but chapters could have had less sex and more content. I love those scenes but not every chapter.

not enough Larids really liked the book the storyline

This is a thrilling story. I loved the way Arya and Cohen met. in her father's dungeon! I just loved the characters and it was such a good plot! I also loved the epilogue. A very steamy romance novel!
