Hiro has only just recovered from his latest battle when the alarm sounds—a Klaxosaur swarm is imminent, and one of them is the largest foe the Parasites have ever faced! Hiro and Zero Two must push themselves to the absolute limits to protect their squadmates and the Plantations. Is Hiro ready, or will Zero Two ride him to death like all her other partners?
Simply amazing. I love this series. Great characters and great storytelling. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our young heroes. Seems like the story still has plenty of room for more twists and turns. Still plenty of uncensored content for perverts like me 😁
Better plot than the first two volumes, but still left me a little empty reading it. No idea if that stems from the amount of fan service, or the endless swimming suit illustrations in this book every few pages, my head just felt kind of empty reading it all. A lot of plot points or character motives just remind me of a knock off NGE, and I'm just being reminded of something I'd rather be reading instead. I don't think the characters are playing into their strengths enough to make them stand out as much as they should, and their personalities are all kind of feeling the same. the last two volumes had the characters a little bland or at least the side characters, but there was potential for them, and this book just isn't playing into that and just leaves me pretty detached from everything else going on. Less robot crotch shots though, love to see it
This was a bit better than the first volume. We get a little more action without the fan service but there is still way too much of it for no reason other than, "look, boobs." Zero Two and Hiro get some good progression and that is really what I am here for.
Enjoyed the quick read between books. Sometimes manga seems like a good palette cleanser when you need a break from regular books. I need to pick up volumes 5-6 now.
Cute and sweet, and we're still following the anime pretty closely, so no surprises but did also find it to land a bit flatter than the anime did. Overall, I liked it, though.
