A good read. I would have rated it 4 stars, but for one annoying aspect. Nomad has more typos and missing words than a first grader’s early writing assignment. Even on a single page the town of Buford was also misspelled as Burford. This is just one example of dozens of Buford misspellings. It’s like “doesn’t anyone proof this book, maybe even just a little?” It is the lousiest and most careless editing I have ever experienced, and it was really annoying.
So misspelled words, missing words and that sort of recurring theme is inexcusable. Otherwise, it was an okay book. “Hey Austin, why not a little more attention to the basics next time?”
I’ve read all four books in the series and I just have to say “WOW” !! His mothers nurse has a brother who has disappeared. Frank volunteered to check on him. Frank finds out that her brother has been dealing with military grade weapons. Now the fun begins! BRING ON # 5 Please!
One of the special forces guys take time off to visit his mom in a nursing home. Her nurse is nice, and they start looking for her brother, who is missing. Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating some arms sales in the area. And let's not forget the hired gun who will make some big bucks to kill some of this group.
A complex word for a superbly complex plot and a great book. Well done Joel! Some authors get lazy, but you keep improving.
The characters are well rounded and the events and situations combine to make a realistic scenario in which vigilante justice is served piping hot and nicely spicy.
