A good read. I would have rated it 4 stars, but for one annoying aspect. Nomad has more typos and missing words than a first grader’s early writing assignment. Even on a single page the town of Buford was also misspelled as Burford. This is just one example of dozens of Buford misspellings. It’s like “doesn’t anyone proof this book, maybe even just a little?” It is the lousiest and most careless editing I have ever experienced, and it was really annoying.

So misspelled words, missing words and that sort of recurring theme is inexcusable. Otherwise, it was an okay book. “Hey Austin, why not a little more attention to the basics next time?”

One of the special forces guys take time off to visit his mom in a nursing home. Her nurse is nice, and they start looking for her brother, who is missing. Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating some arms sales in the area. And let's not forget the hired gun who will make some big bucks to kill some of this group.

Fantabulistic!!

A complex word for a superbly complex plot and a great book. Well done Joel!
Some authors get lazy, but you keep improving.

The characters are well rounded and the events and situations combine to make a realistic scenario in which vigilante justice is served piping hot and nicely spicy.

When Captain Frank Sherman goes to visit his Mother in California, things happen. Vanessa, his mother's nurse at The Nursing Home has family issues. When Sherman decides to help, things take a turn in the town of Buford, California. Read this standalone novel in The Frank Sherman series and learn how Justice is served.

Nomad

I found the story very entertaining. I enjoyed Sherman as much as I have enjoyed Jack Reacher. Very similar storylines.

Frank Sherman is visiting his Mother in a nursing home while on leave from JSOC. Before you know it things take a left turn. Frank Sherman is a one man army with his own moral code and he takes care of business.
It’s a fast paced action read with interesting characters. Looking forward to the next adventure.
