Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
Jet was the sixth book in the Royal Bastards Sacramento series by Winter Travers. The books build off each other and are better read in order.
I’m taking a break from formal reviews for awhile but a couple quick thoughts: Jet was a quick novella style book and I read it in one sitting. It advanced the MC plot from the previous book but didn’t answer many questions so I’m assuming we’ll get more in the following books. I liked Jet and Jenna but really wanted more depth - not just into them as characters but also into the overall storyline. True to the series, we’re left with a teaser into Maggie for the next book, Jinx.
This wasn't what I thought it was going to be and it was amazing. I loved this one. I can't wait to read the next book. I love these men and their women.
What does age matter anyway?! Well if you are Jet and Jemma, not a thing. After Barracuda’s book we find out that Jet survived but is in need of rehab and Jemma happens to run the rehab center and has taken the hot biker on as a patient.
There are so many twists and turns that had me guessing throughout the book just what would happen next. It was exciting to see the relationship between Jet and Jemma to go thermal and the while trying to figure out who exactly shot Jet and how the RBMC would retaliate or if they would get revenge at all.
Ms. Travers knocks this book…this series…out of the park yet again with her suspense, steam and drama and has me waiting on pins and needles to see what happens next in this amazing series.
I have read every book Winter has written and I haven’t read a bad one yet. She keeps you hooked from the start to finish and throws in some laughs along the way. If you haven’t tried her books you really are missing out!!!
Jet is the sixth book in Royal Bastards series. Jet has to go into a physical rehab facility to work on his recovery. His PT will be Jemma, she is sweet, tough and ten years older than Jet. From the beginning Jemma has thought Jet was sexy and he finds Jemma sexy as well. Once released their relationship takes off. Travers gives us some answers to who is the bad guys that came after Jet. Travers does leave us with a cliffhanger... and its a heartbreaking one. I am hoping Mace and Maggie get together. Happy Reading 📚
Jet has been a supporting character in this series until this book which tells the story of Jet and Jemma. Jet is recovering from his gun shot wounds and needs to go to a rehabilitation center to regain the use of his arm. When he first arrives he is weak and his mood is low. Jemma is going to be doing his physical therapy treatments. In the beginning he even needs help to keep his balance while walking. He wants to recover so he can not only ride his motorcycle again but also because he wants to get revenge on whoever set him up and shot him. With his and Emma's hard work he heals quickly and can leave a little early. On the day he leaves he sets a date for that night with Jemma. There is a connection there that neither can deny. What happens next is a sexy yet hilarious scene that takes place in a car. They begin their steady relationship and are together every night. At first she has fears and worries that she may not be able to handle the club life. After a drunken (and funny) night getting to know the ol ladies she comes to terms with it. The Triple Zeros threat is still out there and a very unexpected person turns out to be Jet's shooter. This book ends on a cliffhanger regarding Maggie and her baby. I can't wait to read the resolution in the next book in the series.
A pretty good book... shorter than most but packed a punch. This is Jet's and Jemma's book. Apparently Jet had been shot several times and was in a coma for two weeks. During that time he healed up a lot but when he fell after being shot he somehow messed up his shoulder and couldn't use it.
He was moved from the hospital to a rehab place to get his strength back and get his shoulder moving again.. This is where he met Jemma. She is head of the department and doesn't do much physical therapy on patients anymore but they are short handed so she is working with Jet.
Now is where things get interesting....who shot Jet? How do they know when they figure it out? How does he know when anything is he... and the best question is can Jemma handle MC life??
This is a quick book. You think so much is just filler but then you find out it's a part you need to know about. Off to another RBMC book...
Jet made me smile from the start. He went from grumpy to sweet and sexy real quick. I knew he would want to be back in the action pronto after being shot, but fate had other plans. Jemma was stuck in a rut until she met Jet. I think they bring out the best in each other because we get to see Jet’s sweet side and Jemma gets to live a more out going life. By the way, I will never look at cheese and rice the same way again! This story has something for everyone - suspense, action packed drama, awesome friends and love! I adored this couple and was exited about their age gap. Jet proved age is just a number. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
Yowza!! First of all, after the end of Barracuda, I'm super happy Jet is ok! Obviously we knew he'd survived since this is his book, but you know what I mean!
I love Jemma & she's such a refreshing breath of air! She's adorably naive about all things biker, and her friend Maggie has a little more knowledge to share, she thinks, but thankfully the Royal Bastards are NOT like SOA!
Jemma & Jet together are a fun time. They get along well even when he's a grump about his PT. They build trust, have chemistry, and fall in love. And of course there are some LOL moments with the brothers & ol' ladies, and Maggie.
And!! As always, the "Eek!" ending has me chomping at the bit for the next story!!
Wait! What?!!! Holy shit, this author knows how to keep you hanging!! And I am talking about the end of this book!! What a tease!! Anywho!! What a ride this was!! This kicks off where the last one finished and if you don't know where that was. Don't wait for me to tell you!! Coz, lips zipped!! I highly recommend you read this series in order to get the full Royal Bastards MC experience. And I love this Chapter!! Jet?! What can I say, he was one grumpy mofo and too be fair, you can't blame him. But when he meets Jemma, she gives him something to smile about. However, danger lurks and who knows how the hell things are going to play out?! What fantastic read!!
Winter Travers has done it again! Another can't-put-it-down read that leaves you wanting more, more, more! Loved Jet and Jemma's story--and the SOA references from Maggie were cracking me up! So glad Jemma was a 'J' instead of a 'G'! The interactions between Jemma and Jet left you wanting more until it all come to a head and --BOOM! The line was crossed and the attraction and feelings were let free between the two of them. I was surprised who the bad guy turned out to be. I hope the RBMC get their revenge on these little freakos and we are given details as to how it goes down. I cannot wait for Maggie's story. Another great addition to the RBMC world.
Jet and Jemma put a smile on my face! He was so grumpy when he came to rehab. He didn't want to be there, he was ready to get back to his life. Unfortunately, his body needed a little time to get back into fighting shape so to speak. Jemma had no experience with bikers or frankly anyone like Jet and his brothers. She tried to ignore it as best she could, she was after all, more than a couple years older than Jet. Then he goes and sweeps her off her feet! Loved it! There is a little cliffy, as this author does. I laugh every time, I know she loves to leave us hanging. Can't wait for the next one!!
The previous book ends with Jet being gunned down. It cuts right to him a few weeks later in rehab to regain the use of his arm. Jemma is his physical trainer, although she doesn't work with patients anymore. Jemma is totally clueless about the MC life but she is instantly attracted to Jet. Again I wish we had more of a build up to the relationships. It's like they are attracted to each other and then they are in love with no build up. Sad to say I'm just not enjoying any of the times the old ladies get together. I keep waiting for one intelligent conversation or at least something that makes sense and it's not happening.
Jet is the sixth installment in the Royal Bastards series. The series get better with each book! Jet and Jemma have this chemistry that is undeniable from the very beginning. I did laugh a lot at her innocence of the MC world. But, I think that is what made her very fitting for Jet. Finally, some answers on the drama that has been following this series were revealed! Atlas, Winter and her wicked self, left us with another cliffhanger! Maggie.....Jemma's best friend! So, I will sit over here and twiddle my thumbs and tap my toe until Maggie's story is released! Happy reading!
This is the 6th book in this incredible series, and this is Jet and Jemma’s story. After being shot in the arm, Jet meets Jemma, who is his physical therapist, and the sparks fly. This is a well written easy to read, which is action packed, with danger, suspense, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, humor, witty banter, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
It seemed like this story was scraped off the cutting room floor, put together in a rush and thrown out for us to try and read.. The editing was so bad that there were many times within the story that it was hard to figure out what the writer was trying to say. The story had great potential to be much better it seemed very rushed. This was not the writer's best work by far. Very disappointing.
Wow! What a ride! Jet is recovering from being shot and not too happy about it. He meets a wonderful physical therapist named Jemma while recovering and falls hard for. At the same time the Royal Bastards are looking for whoever shot Jet and planning their revenge. This book was full of action and romance, the perfect combination to me! The plot thickens!!!
Jet was sent to rehab after he was almost killed. Jenna is the Physical Therapy Director. The first time she saw him she had no clue what a mc club was. While helping Her recover from his injuries she was slowly falling for him and he was falling for her. I loved going on this ride with them and I cannot wait to see how Maggie is with the way this book ended.
Jet's book is a fast paced romance that has you captivated by the characters, the storyline and the underlying drama and chaos. The ol' ladies provide the witty banter and the brothers are just as entertaining this time too. It was funny, steamy and action packed and the ending leaves you hanging by a thread for the next book.
Another gritty story. Jemma was to help Jet heal. She was smart, caring, good with her patients, and accepting. Jet was a bit blind to start, but his heart caught on fast. The chemistry between them was hot. I loved all the support they got while danger still hung over them. The ending surprised me a bit but was very satisfying. I recommend this story.
Another great read in a series I've loved every second of. There's intensity, laughs, heat and a connection between Jet and Jemma that sparks from the start. I love getting to check in with the characters we fell in love with before and ready for more!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Another amazing book by Winter Travers. She always makes books great to read. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Jet and Jemma together, they have an attraction from beginning. Jemma helps Jet after what happened to him and make him stronger. They would usually be unlikely duo but they make a great couple. They both bring something to the relationship.
Jet was almost died when he was shot slot and left 4 dead. He went 2 A place 2 do PT but what he found was a possible future with a person that was growing feelings 4 but he didn't know why. I liked it alot until the very end the way it ended with her best friend. Will things go sideways 4 A possible war or would others cower in fear?
Jet after being shot and in a coma need rehab to recover. He sent to pine Cove where Jemma works. She normal don't work with patients anymore but when they short hand she steps in and is Jet physical therapist. The club is dealing with the threat while he recover bur someone at pine Cove is out to get the club.
Wow what a book!!!! From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat. Jet is a RBMC, he was injured and needs rehab. Jemma works at the rehab and has no idea what she’s getting herself into. Something tragic happens and she would need to take a leap of faith or go back to her boring life.
Jet is book six in the RBMC Sacramento and is Jet and Jemma's story. I loved this book so much. I love how these books pick up for the next character where they left off and the secondary characters are a hoot. I can't wait to read more.
This was a surprise, but so good! You have intrigue and suspense then you get a little drama, a laugh out loud and some sweet and sexy lovin. Yup another amazing story about the royal bastards.
Trusting each other was something that had to be worked on until her talk with the ol ladies. That's when she realized that love was an option for her. I hope to see more of Maggie in the coming books. Another reason why I love the RBMC Authors.
A definite page turner that kept me entertained, on the edge of my seat and swooning. Jet and Jemma embarked on a beautiful journey neither of them expected. Their banter is cute, their chemistry is palpable but their connection is simply perfect. And wow, the ending… that’s all I’m going to say. Winter Travers never ceases to amaze me.
