I know how to fix broken things. I’m one of Earth’s top engineers. But a sexy Rhonar warrior with a scarred past? That may be a challenge even for me.
An explosion on the moonbase has me careening into space. If it weren’t for the hot alien pilot Brokdar, I’d still be floating amongst the debris. But now, we’ve been sucked through a wormhole to an unknown planet.
We’ll have to rely on each other to survive. But with his barred emotions and tight-lipped demeanor, I don’t know how to break down his walls—even if the chemistry between us is set to ignite.
If we don’t work together, we’ll never make it off this remote rock. I need to get home. My sister and best friend were caught in the blast. I don’t even know if they made it out alive. I must know.
And if I don’t make it back, no one will warn the Rhonar about the looming threat. Will the alliance between the alien warriors and Earth break before it’s even begun? And if it does, how will I ever be with this alien who’s slowly stealing my heart?
Only the stars know.
Alien’s Mate is a sci-fi romance and book two in the Earth Brides & Alien Warriors series, but it can be read as a standalone. Will they find their brides? Steamy seduction, fated mates, and a HEA guaranteed.

I don’t think there was anything specifically wrong with this book, I think it is just my mood. I don’t feel like reading or listening and I am just bored today. I might pick this one up on another day when I am more in the mood for a book. The narration was good. I just couldn’t get into it today. I am also not in the review writing mood.

I am a woman in STEM! But make it an alien warrior is my soulmate trope.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The world-building was precise and flowed. The characters, especially Sage, were relatable and likeable from the offset. Sage was a strong and independent female lead. The book's plot kept me on the edge of my seat. A perfect amount of action led to excellent relationship-building scenes between Brok and Sage. There was depth to each character's decisions, which helped the plot flow. Brok had a very developed back story that surprised me, setting this book apart from others in the genre.
Bonus: there are adorable teleporting furry animals!
Prepare star cruiser one to blast into an adventure with a dazzling alien planet, feisty heroine, sexy protective alien hero, and a beautiful romance any Sci-Fi romance lover is sure to enjoy.
This was a fun read that really had me glued to my reader. I can't say enough about the non-stop action and that there were plenty of steamy times ;) These two were fated mates and there's a lot to that in this story - thankfully, she really was his perfect match so their romance was sizzling. Good fun!
Another knock out by Tina moss. I love that there wasn't just a repeat of the last book. I loved the strong female lead and her chosen mate. I loved the danger and the battles ..and who doesn't love a vibrating........ Yeah seriously amazing could be a standalone if you wanted but better as part of the series
This book was received for free in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the Author and publisher for the opportunity to review.
This was the first book I've read by Tina Moss and in the series. I found it easy to follow and enjoyed the writing. Sage was a delight to read about and get to know. She is an amazing, smart woman. The story itself moved along well. There was plenty of action to keep the story flowing. Being a fated mates story, Brok knew very quickly that Sage was his mate and it didn't take long for the chemistry to show. I look forward to reading more in this series and more by this author.
She is the top engineer and she can fix almost everything that needs mending until she meets him. There is an explosion and she is sent out into the universe where she is picked up by an alien. They end up going through a wormhole to a strange planet where they need to rely on each other to survive. How will it go? Can they get on? Will they escape the planet? Will feelings get caught up with it all? How will it all go? See if they escape the planet

DNF at 60%. This should be made into a full-length novel instead of a novella. The two leads were okay on their own, but together I didn't feel the chemistry. The sex scenes were blah. Overall, not for me even though I love alien romance (ask Ruby Dixon).
Thank you, NetGalley and City Owl Press, for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
I must admit this is a re read, I first read this novel back in February 2022 and looking back I must haven't have been feeling it because reading it now... WOW!! I can't believe I rated it so low before it's definitely a 5star!! (sorry to the author for my apparent lack of taste 5months ago LOL)
Alien's mate follows on from the first novel Alien's Captive. Earth and the Rhonar species have now made contact and the possibility of humans and Rhonars mating is high. Slim pickings on Earth and no females for Rhonars seems like a perfect solution. Alien's mate follows Brok from the first and a new character Sage. Brok is now in the second stage of his fated Alien race and is battling against the void of nothingness and without a mate, he sees no end in sight - then Sage literally floats into his life. The adventure that the wormhole sends Sage and Brok on is a whirlwind and their relationship... Wow! Xelan from the first novel has nothing on Brok. He's dominant, insistant and just Hot!! The steaminess in Alien's Mate is taken up a good few notches and it sizzles off the page! I still laughed at the discovery of the vibration, Be it Sage or Ava their reaction was the same. Sage with her technical mind and ideals, was so adamant at first she wouldn't be one to get into a relationship with an Alien. To her falling over herself in the next few chapters - I loved it, the reasoning behind it made complete sense after reading the first novel. The writing definitely paints the right image and throws you into their worlds. The cute little florins and gyorpins sounded adorable. I loved the adventure story in this novel not only was it about Brok meeting his mate but it also had an underlying mission too and it sets up book 3 nicely. I can't wait to read the next novel in this series. These Rhonars are HOT 🔥🔥🔥
I thought the first book in this series fantastic, this one is better. The characters and world building are amazing with a variety of different alien species and creatures. The chemistry between the main characters is off-the-charts HOT. It’s definitely a must read. There’s action, danger, a wormhole, passion, romance, fated mates and more with steamy scenes and a happy ever after ending.
Sage is an engineer on the moons station. She’s called to go with her sister and best friend to fix the communications array and while performing a repair while in space there’s an attack. The array is blasted to pieces and the enemy ship tries to bring her into it. She’s saved by a Ronar ship but doesn’t see it as she blacks out from lack of oxygen. When she comes to, it’s to find a huge alien warrior standing over her. When they get to the cockpit it’s to find the enemy ship opening up a wormhole and the ship is sucked in. The miraculously survive but their good luck is challenged by a kind of T. rex hybrid looking thing. Brok knows that Sage is his Truxoria, his fated mate. He will do everything in his power to protect her and keep her safe and he has to defend her from a few creatures. The ship is out of fuel and they need to travel this new planet in order to find a fuel source. If they can get it and get back, together they can fix the ship and leave the planet. If only things were that simple. Their burning hot desire and the mating bond just add fuel of another kind.

I received this book on a complimentary basis in exchange for an honest review. I must admit that the genre of the book was certainly new to me as I have never before read or been interested in reading anything remotely associated with fictional relationships between humans and aliens. So, this was definitely a new experience for me. And.....it was surprisingly entertaining and kept me page turning. The relationship between the two characters seemed to develop very quickly but held just the right amount of chemistry to come across as genuine. Now, the next comment might be a bit of a spoiler alert, however I need to mention it if a genuine review is expected. I do not believe that there was any need in this story for the dominant/submissive relationship. The reason for this inclusion and tangent?? No idea!!! Is the author under the impression that this will sell the story more, or is this simply playing out a secret fantasy of her own? Totally don't know. Totally don't care, however I feel that the inclusion of it was completely unnecessary and detracted from the story. It would have received a higher score if this sexual aspect was omitted. Now, whist I found the sexual element unnecessary, I still find myself looking forward to the next book in the series. Strange, but true. That is surely the sign of a talented author when they can inspire a reader to anticipate the next book in a series. We'll done and thanks for the opportunity to read and review your talent!

I was very excited for this book because I do love an alien romance from time to time and a brooding hero as well? Sign me up. Well, unfortunately I was overall a bit disappointed. Brok isn't so much tight lipped and brooding as he is domineering and Sage doesn't bring a lot to the table in my opinion. Both don't feel like fleshed out characters, I couldn't really attribute any characteristics to them, other than Brok is an 'alpha' as Sage describes him, and Sage herself is quite insecure about her looks. Both feel a bit too cliche for me especially because Sage is (surprise) very small and curvy, where all other women around her are tall and thin. Brok of course is huge and powerful. And while Sage is an engineer/mechanic, she doesn't really do much, even though she is described as very capable. She is more or less a damsel in distress for Brok to save. I was really hoping for a more balanced and less used up trope as insecure, but super beautiful heroine and large, domineering hero. I am still giving the book three stars, because I don't think it's necessarily bad or I don't think no one will enjoy it. I just couldn't get really into it and felt it was all a little but overdone at this point and hoped for a more original set up.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
Sage is one of a group of women working on a moonbase. She is the engineer and her best friend and one of her sisters is there too. She feels inferior to them all but that is because of past boyfriends who have shaken her confidence and given her the worst sense of self-worth. She is well aware of her mechinal capabilities, those are never in doubt, but where it concerns herself, her wants and her figure that is just a tangled mess of self-hate and doubt. She was out fixing an issue with the comms when an alien ship appears and tries to grab her. She is rescued by another ship, a Rhonar one by it's rather attractive pilot Brok. Brokdan feels as though his soul has been sucke dout of his body. He has no feelings, no emotions seemingly ice to anyone watching yet there is a sucking emptiness that threatens his mind if he continues as he is for much longer. Then out of the corner of his eye, a faint glint of light in the darkness. Is this an omen? Is it fate? Could this be something that would bring him back from the brink? Well it seems that Sage is that very thing but first they have to survive the wormhole and the planet they are about to crash on at the far-reaches of the galaxy. Simple....
This book was provided to my by netgalley and Tina Moss. All of my review is honest and freely given. Thank you for the chance to read this book.
The author has an amazing world build. I really like how she made new plants, flora, and creatures that were unique to the new strange planet. This book was amazing I can't stress this enough. Tina moss was able to transport me to this world she was writing about and I felt like I was part of the action.
I loved that even though this book is part of a series it is easily able to be read as a standalone.
They played a unique spin on the trope of fated mates as well as close proximity. The fact that the male aliens end up being in a bland, painful, no- emotion state that is tormenting without their fated mate. this was definitely interesting and I wanted to find out more. I liked how sage was a strong and independent woman. She was also forward enough to tell bron what she needed within their relationship (dom/sub role). I enjoyed that sage was not a weak female character but a strong minded, independent and stubborn woman at her best, even if it got her into trouble sometimes.
I will say that I am grateful for finding Tina Moss as an author and will be reading more of her work. I highly recommend this book and her work.
I picked this book up because I was intrigued by a capable woman engineer meeting a domineering alien. However, the story just did not flow for me.
Sage is an engineer who is a strong small curvy Earthling but has some insecurities when it comes to relationships. She's reckless and impulsive which gets her in some harrowing experiences and almost gets her mate, Brok, killed. However, she's doing it because she's not one to sit back and watch as her alien man does all the work.
Brok is a Rhonar warrior who has finally found his mate, Sage, and wants to protect her. He is broody due to an abusive and tragic past, but he opens up slowly as Sage fills the void in his hearts (yeah, he has more than one). And, as every alien does, he has some other interesting anatomy parts fit for a lucky mate.
I liked the characters and the sex scenes were okay, but I felt the whole BDSM thing didn't fit in an alien setting. And, though I really wanted to like the story, unfortunately, I just couldn't get into the weird otter aliens.
I don't hate the story and I do think people will like it, but I just found it unoriginal and overdone.
Thank you to Ms. Moss for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
A fated mates trope with steamt chemistry between an alien warrior Brokdar, and a sassy technical engineer, Sage. Brok rescues Sage in the beginning of the book, but from. There on, she tackles most problems on her own. Not to say she doesn't still need his help, as many creatures are much bigger than her, she doesn't just hide and allow the big he-man to take care of all the battles. Brok has some serious baggage, and the biggest is his need to find his mate or fall victim to losing all emotions and going off the deep end. But, with Sage, he finds his mate and she can also save him from his own feelings of self loathing.
There is a dom/sub relationship here. He has a dominant nature, which he is trying to control so he doesn't scare her. Sage wants to be the submissive in the relationship, and wastes no time in letting Brok know this. That was a bit too convenient, for me, and some of that whole role play action felt stilted. Otherwise, the hot sex scenes were great.
I did not read the first book, but these are standalone, so it was fine. I do want to go back and read that one and then read the third book, which should be out without too long a wait.
Human Sage is one of Earth's top engineers and while out fixing something an explosion at the moonbase has her careering into space but sexy Rhonar warrior Brok pulls her onto his shop and saves her just before they are sucked through a wormhole and they land onto an unknown planet. Relying on each other to survive she needs to break down Brok's walls as the chemistry between them is about to explode. She also is wondering if her sister and best friend were caught in the blast that affected them. Brok's priority is protecting her - she is his mate he just needs to have the chance to tell her and take it further. Can they both get home to warn everyone about the threat from the aggressors with the wormholes that affected them?
I quite enjoyed this story which was probably because it focused a lot on their dilemma on the new planet and their struggle to get home. I liked that they were able to sort out their cultural differences and that they were able to complete their mate bond. It was great to see how good they could be once they were more able to work together. Contains some mature content.
A truly fun and entertaining read! After Brokdan (Brok) the alien male, rescues Sage from floating in space as her oxygen runs out they are almost immediately new danger as a shared enemy opens up a wormhole. They crash land on an alien planet and together face several skirmishes with alien creatures.
Both Sage and Brok are engaging characters, and while the attraction between them is obvious they get to know each other a little before things get steamy between them. They form a partnership as they seek fuel to allow them to leave the planet they’ve crashed onto and eventually a mate bond is triggered between them.
This entertaining read has little angst, but plenty of adventure and charm. The characters are well suited and definitely become supportive and protective of each other.
I am definitely interested in the next book in the series which will feature Sage’s sister Jane and Brock’s commanding officer Tor on a special joint mission.

I enjoy alien love stories because they take you away to new worlds. The author built a new world filled with scary beings and friendly characters.
The author is very descriptive when introducing you to each character so you can picture them. My favourites are the Florin and the Gyorpins, what I liked is the author gave you the pronunciation of some of the words so you didn’t have to guess.
Sage is an engineer who has low self-esteem and Brokdar is a Rhonar warrior who has lost his emotions and soon to go to the void. They meet in space when the Versaken attack. Brok saves Sage and they crash on a planet after going through a worm hole.
This was very fast paced which kept my interest till the end, a page turner that had you wondering what was going to happen next. I would recommend this book to everyone over 18 because it does get steamy at times.
Story has so much action, adventure, fated bond mates, enemies, and passion/love. I love that this story gives the characters of Sage and Brok time to get to know each other before all the steam between them. Sage gets blasted into space when an explosion happens on the moonbase. She's floating in space and as her oxygen gets depleted she's rescued by a Rhonar warrior, Brokdar and then they get sucked into a wormhole onto an unknow planet. Now their adventure really starts. Will Sage make it back to Earth to see if her sister and bestie lived through the blast? Will they be able to warn the Rhonar about the threat to them? Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Brok is patrolling near Earth when two unusual things occur: he sees a Terran woman working outside their moonstation and can’t stop thinking about her and he sees an enemy ship go by in stealth mode. Sage is a talented engineer and is out trying to fix a glitch when the alien ships attack. Next thing she knows she’s on a Rhonan’s ship and they get drawn into a wormhole. Stranded on an unknown planet, Brok needs to repair his ship, convince Sage that she is his mate, and learn how to deal with the influx of emotions that come from finding his mate. Their interactions are fun and touching and I’m looking forward to Jane and Tor’s story. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy in exchange for my honest review.
Romance, battle, adorable creatures, and aliens, what more could a reader as for? Sage and Brok are our MCs and I so enjoyed them together. Sage is a strong female character and battles her own inner demons, while helping Brok with his. Brok is the strong but silent type, but obviously a big softy when it comes to Sage. While this book falls firmly in the smut category, it also provides a strong plot that helps keep the book interesting. Sage and Brok get their HEA, but it is left open for the continued series and other Rhonar to possibly find their mates.
Yes, sir! I enjoy reading exciting space battles and thrilling adventures in the forest. The story is laced with humour, and I appreciate how Brok's point of view reveals that even though he's humanoid, there are hints in his speech that he's not an Earth-bound being. I love how Sage's character was portrayed. I don't find her annoying; she's not fussy, and I love how she takes on the challenges thrown at her. The sexy scenes are intimate, naughty, and downright enjoyable 😉 The characters Florin and Gyorpin are so adorable. The epilogue hints at another exciting adventure for Commander Tor and Captain Jane. I've had this series on my TBR list for a long time. And just like wine, sometimes you have to wait for the right moment to enjoy it.
An action-packed, science fiction romance adventure for Sage and Brok. After Brok saves Sage, the h/H are pulled through a wormhole and crash land on a hostile planet where everything seems out to get them as they face many challenges. The relationship between the two is great - she's just as strong in the relationship as he is and is not just in need of rescue all the time. Brok is domineering in some ways but it's up to Sage as to how far she allows his behavior to go. This is a fated mates story where Sage literally saves Brok from progressing into a voidless state. There is steamy heat between the two, aided by Brok's special eggplant. It was fun from beginning to end.
An enemy attacks a satellite station and the explosion sends Sage Kadaran out into space with her oxygen running out. Brok, a Rhonar warrior, saves Sage but their ship is drawn into an artificially made wormhole. They land on an unknown planet with a number of unfriendly creatures to fight.
The two of them need to work together to survive this planet and get back to civilization. Sage’s sister had also been caught in the explosion and Sage has to find out whether she survived. Brok has already realized Sage is his. Can he convince her that they are mates? Will she take a chance on him and let herself fall in love?
This is the second book in the series and definitely more interesting than the first. It is hot and steamy and the first time I’ve encountered a BDSM/Dom Sub alien trope. The plot and story line is longer and reaches farther into the universe. We meet new friends as well as enemies, but I do feel some plot points are repetitive. I’m so glad that Brok gets his story, but Sage leaves much to be desired. I know that it gives more drama to a book, but I’m tired of main female characters being immature and impulsive. A good series so far though! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
Set in the future, Earth is mostly inhabitable. Sage is a mechanic and while working on a space station is sucked into a wormhole. Brok follows her through as he feels a connection with her. They must find a way to survive and get off the planet and back home. They have chemistry and a connection and develop a relationship as they get to know one another. Sage is feisty and courageous and does a darn good job of saving herself. Brok respects Sage's skills as they work together to survive the planet. I liked this take on the alien fated mates romance. It did take an unexpected turn with the d/s elements that sort of appeared out of nowhere but that didn't bother me too much.

This was the first book I've read by Tina Moss and in the series. I found it easy to follow and enjoyed the writing. Sage was a delight to read about and get to know. She is an amazing, smart woman. Brok and Sage are a great mated pair. Fate threw them together in a survival quest that tested their attraction and love while also allowing them to learn about each other and see their admiration grow for the other. The plot was week done - main story studying center with compelling twists and additions that has me intrigued for the next one! The passion was super hot!! Brok and Sage’s love was amazingly beautiful.
