Single-author collection of seven Ghost Tales focusing on or set in Wadhurst, East Sussex, England (UK). These stories are modern yet provide that quintessentially British cozy Ghost tale experience, which appeals to aficionados of M. R. James and Arthur Machen

🌟🌟🌟🌟/5… BBBBRRRR!!!! This book has freaking chilled my BONES!!! 🥶🥶🥶🥶
What a surprisingly unusual compilation of horror stories Ward put together! The book is called ghost stories, yet the seven tales have much more than that to offer, including a very terrifying snake.
Although the tales are a work of fiction, you’d never know it by the setting. Surrey is already considered a hotspot for the supernatural if you believe in that sort of thing. Reading this made me want to take a trip to good ole England to check out the sights and maybe have a cuppa and a biscuit.
