Rockstar Aiden Lamar is not hooking up with pretty boy West. No matter what the internet says.

Aiden is way too smitten with Francis, a handsome guitarist, that pushes Aiden's buttons and teases his Alpha side like it's nobody's business. But Aiden's tired of meaningless tour hook-ups and generally just tired. So takes his friends' advice and goes on vacation once the tour is over.

His destination? His unrequited crush's Leo's rural Bed & Breakfast. What he didn't expect was Francis showing up at Leo's door.

Now Aiden has to figure out his feelings and see if he can make it work with one of the men he likes.

This is a standalone short story set in the Gata Vardia verse with no cliffhanger.

This is a book that I read during stressing Teams meetings. It helped me get through the first few weeks at my new job, when everything was difficult. Love the peace it gives. That's J's gift.

This one was fun, especially if you read Surrealizing Home, because it shows more what has been going on on tour with West. Aiden and Francis are likable characters. This one is from Aiden's pov, but that works well for this story. I like how it's about him making friends and dealing with past trauma (more or less healthy).

You don't need to have read Surrealizing Home for this short story to make sense.

It's low angst and low drama and perfect if you need a quick read.
It's also free in a lot of online bookstores.
