Oh how I love the Wilder Brothers. Each one of them has served their country until they decided not to renew their contract but for Everett it was a Medical Discharge after being injured by an IED that killed his best friends and stole his memories. To say my heart broke for the guy that couldn't remember what his mom looked like would be an understatement, but watching him find his Second Chance with Bethany was just what any doctor would order.

Bethany Cole is an A-list celebrity, who gave me Julia Robert feels, is not someone people forget meeting but after Everett suffers his traumatic brain injury not only does he forget meeting her he forgets their romantic time together. YIKES! When Bethany finds her boyfriend cheating on her the first place she thinks of going is to The Wilder Resort and Winery, and maybe while she's there she'll confront Everett and find out why he ghosted her.

This story has it all and then some so be prepared to laugh and cry, if you are going to listen to the audiobook I would advise not to do it while driving because you may start crying at any point. The chemistry between Bethany and Everett was great but what I loved even more was the way they connected outside of the bedroom, they were there to help support one another when it was needed, and believe me it was needed a few times, which helped them rebuild a solid base for their relationship.

I would recommend this book to those that enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Second Chance Romances, Military Romances, Celebrity Romances or Large Family Romances.

Happy Reading!!!

These Wilder Brothers are so sexy I just can’t get enough. One by one there all finding the HEA.

Bethany is a Hollywood sweetheart part of a power couple until she’s not. She and Everett shared a moment years ago.

Everett Wilder can’t remember his time with Bethany. When she comes to his family retreat to escape the limelight he wants to protect her from everything because that’s what the Wilders do.

This large close knit family has gone through so much. Emotional and heartbreaking story that just keeps you coming back for more.

The Path To You is book three in Carrie Ann Ryan’s Wilder Brothers series and we all know how much I love an ex-military, “Oops I forgot we boned”, celebrity romance so this one was a winner for me!

Everett Wilder suffered a traumatic brain injury in the military which caused him to lose some memories, too bad one of those memories was his magical weekend with Hollywood star Bethany Cole. Now Bethany is at the Wilder Resort trying to escape the paparazzi when her boyfriend cheats.

I am loving these alpha Wilder men! How Everett has to work with his injury, is totally smitten with Bethany the PERSON, not Bethany the STAR and how he realizes how strong she is just made me fall more in love with him!!! The hurtles these two have to overcome for their HEA, including a stalker and their own baggage are heart breaking, twisty turny goodness! Plus some serious chemistry and steam these two brought alllll the heat!

I am really enjoying this series! I love a family coming together and to have these strong “You will be MINE” men bowing down to these strong women is perfect. I can’t wait for Elijah and Maddie’s book next.

I was gifted an advance copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion. The Path To You has a publish date of 12/5/22.

I love this latest book in the Wilder Brothers series. As we meet each Wilder brother, they get sexier, and each one becomes my new favorite. Everett Is my latest crush.

Everett is working through the injuries he suffered on his last mission. While he has physically healed, the brain trauma is present with headaches and lost memories. Bethany, Hollywood’s current sweetheart, needs to escape a stalker and a cheating ex.

The Wilder is a perfect place to hide and get to the bottom of a situation from the past. Bethany and Everett have a history.

As with the other books in the series, the protective nature of the boys comes out, and Everett does everything in his power to be there for her when Bethany’s safety is in jeopardy.

I am anxious for the next book in the series to fall for the next Wilder.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

The Path to You by Carrie Ann Ryan is book three in The Wilder Brothers Series. This is the story of Everett Wilder and Bethany Cole. Bethany is Hollywood darling who ended up having her boyfriend cheat on her causing a scandal. This leads her to the Wilder Resort to lay low from the paparazzi. There she finds Everett who a while back they happen to meet and they had a hot time but Bethany never heard back from him. Everett was in the military when he ended up getting her with a brain injury that killed his friend. But, it took some of his memory too which is how he didn't remember Bethany. This was another great read from Ms. Ryan.

The Path to You is book three in Carrie Ann Ryan’s Wilder Brothers series. I am always in for a fantastic Hollywood Normative romance and this one did not disappoint!

Everett Wilder suffered a traumatic brain injury in the military which caused him to lose some memories. Medically discharges and working with his brothers as the CFO of The Wilder Resort and Winery.

Bethany Cole is an it girl of Hollywood. Making her name in big budget super hero films, while also delivering emotional characters to the screen.

Bethany is a great character. She was so much more than her fame. She is so well written and thought out. She isn’t caught up in typical star behavior, instead she is thoughtful and grounded on how she needs to move in the world. You instantly connect with her and think she could easily be your BFF.

Everett is fierce in protective nature and his devotion to Bethany. this also extends to his family. Even as he struggles with ramifications of the TBI he tries to care for his family. Carrie Ann Ryan delivers time and time again heroes who are strong, steadfast and sexy AF. Everett is everything you come to expect when you pick up a title by the author.

The Wilder Men are Romane Hero Goals! I love them all so much and anticipate the next story. Watching these men fall for equally feisty and determined woman make for some great reads. I highly recommend this book and really this series. I do feel like you can read these as a standalone but you won’t want to.

This review is for the audio book:

I recently listened to The Path to You by Carrie Ann Ryan and loved it! This is the third story in The Wilder Brothers series and it was narrated by Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann. You can definitely read each of these stories on their own with no issues, however, I highly recommend the series as a whole as they are great stories. The narrators did an amazing job bringing Everett and Bethany’s romance to life. This was an emotional and touching second chance romance with so many feels and I have been waiting for this one. Everett suffered a brain injury when he was in the military that has affected his memory. Of those, they include an amazing and steamy time he spent with megastar Bethany Cole. A night she never forgot and could not understand why she never heard from him again.

When they are reunited again, so much has changed but the steamy chemistry between them was still there. I loved Everett. He was wounded and a bit lost, but he was strong and determined. Bethany is facing so much turmoil in her life and wants some time away. Which is how she ends up at Wilder Resort. Can they find their way back to each other and what happens when outside threats come to life? Their journey was not an easy one and I loved going through it with them. This is a must-read and is available to read or listen today!

Happy listening!

HOLY EMOTIONAL HELL! The Path to You was so emotional that it really did leave me exhausted from all the feelings going through me. Everett Wilder had something happen to him which left him with some serious memory issues, but he's super strong & still lives his life to the fullest. Bethany Cole is going through the fire of being a star who caught her significant other cheating, and now she's being punished in the public eye for something that awful man did to her. She decides she needs to get out of the spotlight for a break, so off to The Wilder's Retreat she goes. However, it's not as easy as it sounds since she & Everett know each other from the past and while she's upset she never heard from him, he simply can't remember those moments in time despite the fact that there's something about her that seems familiar. I'm so glad she came to his neck of the woods since maybe just maybe they get a second chance. On top of all this between them, there's also a stalker who brings twists to the table which always makes me super happy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Carrie Ann Ryan and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Path to You is the 3rd book in the Wilder Brothers series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. When we first meet up with Bethany, she’s on top of the world as Hollywood’s sweetheart with a loving boyfriend, or so she thought. When word gets out about her breakup, she’s left with no choice but to escape to Wilder’s Retreat. What she didn’t plan on was running into Everett. Years ago, Evertt and Bethany shared an unforgettable time together, but unbeknownst to both of them, fate would intervene and turn their worlds upside down. And once these two former flames are reunited, all bets are off.

Overall, I thought this book was a really enjoyable read. I found Bethany’s character easy to connect with and felt bad for the way things went down with her ex. I couldn’t imagine being a celebrity and having every part of my life in the spotlight. I loved her chemistry with Everett. I thought they had excellent push and pull. I enjoyed discovering their history together and couldn’t wait to see if they’d get their second chance at love.

The Path to You is a captivating read that will pull you in instantly. The characters are fun and engaging. I love how close-knit the Wilder brothers are. The road to happily ever after wasn’t an easy one for our main characters. Not only did they have their own bumps and baggage to deal with, but there was also the element of danger that was following Bethany around. This story definitely kept me on my toes and I enjoyed every second of it!

Bethany and Everett have met numerous times, but since Everett suffered a head injury while serving in the military, he doesn’t remember her. she comes to the Wilder Winery and Retreat to escape the paparazzi surrounding her when she discovered her boyfriend cheating on her. Not understanding his condition, she gets mad at Everett for forgetting her so quickly but soon forgive him because of his condition. Bethany is determined to protect Everett by not letting him get caught up in the drama that is her life. Everett knows they can make it work. What will they do?

This was an emotional rollercoaster of a story.

Bentham and Everett had a one night together before he was he left for war and they promised ti keep in touch. But tragedy struck and Everett was hurt and lost some of his memory.

Years later they reconnected after Bethany failed relationship went virtual and threatened her acting career. Everett was there to her her pick up the pieces but yet again she was located and this time tied to being Everett down with here.

These two loved each other and as their story cont they decide tone together and deal with everyone as a team.

I loved this story and the narrators did an amazing job telling this story.

Caveat, I didn’t realize this was book 3 in a series, and I figure most of the people who’ve made it this far in the series are big fans so take my saltiness with a grain of…salt. Hehe.

The fem MC got on my nerves. If she’s famous enough to be on talk shows and get fan/hate mail, she shouldn’t go anywhere without security, I don’t care how “secure” the property is. At the end of the day, property security needs to balance guarding the property itself and all the people on site. That’s potentially a lot of directions to be pulled in depending on the day, but private security is only concerned about you. Plus, why not bring your guys who know you, have your trust, and who you’re comfortable with? It’s not an impenetrable shield, but with the craziness of paparazzis and regular fans, a stalker on the loose to boot, I thought she was nuts.

The fem MC also bitched about the stereotypical problems of being famous, and I say “bitched” because I couldn’t take her seriously. She whined about paparazzi getting in her business and she whined about being a female in a frequently sexist field but I kept thinking everything rang hollow. It was all superficial talking points I’ve heard a quadrillion times and I felt like it was fan/lip service because she didn’t change anything after she got down off her soapbox. And when I thought about the flow of the story, those inner monologues felt out of place. Just all of a sudden she was thinking about xyz and then the story would continue on and nothing about what she’d just spent 5 audiobook minutes bitching about would come up again. It was dumb. Also I can’t stand being told how a character feels. Show me.

The antagonists are so thin rice paper is more sturdy. They were so comically EEVVIIILLL that it wasn’t funny, it was just painful. And the fem MC stopped being a reasonable adult whenever they came around. You open the door and see your ex and his gf comes out on your porch? You slam the door in their faces and call property security (because of course you don’t have your own guys with you or this wouldn’t have happened in the first place). You don’t stand there and let them spew their crap all over you. I’m not even a confrontational person, but she didn’t have to stand there and listen, and it’s not even like she had an attack of self-consciousness or anything like that. There was no real emotional or mental processing going on on her part, no human reactions either, she was just a prop to hold the door open (or fuck in front of and bully) to advance the plot in those moments.

She’s also over dramatic as fuck. At one point the male MC says something that hurts her feelings and in her inner monologue she talks about “being broken” but in the very next sentence she steps out of his reach because “if he touched her she was afraid he’d break her.” Which is it? Are you broken or about to get broke? Later, when she’s talking about the resort, she refers to it as “the place that’s been my home,” for five fucking seconds. Your place there was always meant to be temporary. You said it many many times. On top of that, there was just a lot of moaning (and not the sexy kind) and false strength (“I’ll spare him the pain of dealing with paparazzi by breaking up with him weeks too late even though the cat’s already out of the bag.”) but I never felt like we got a look into the fem MC’s motivations and actual thoughts. The focus was on how she (irrationally) reacted to her supposed thoughts, not what her thoughts were to begin with. I never understood her character as a person. The male MC either, but I feel like this book focused more on the fem MC.

There was also drama for no reason sometimes. Like after the male MC showed up and the fem MC’s ex and his gf left the resort. Instead of immediately calling security to accost them at the gate as they left, then talking to the fem MC about what happened, he immediately hops down her throat and tries to pry it out of her with a bucket of water and a rusty pair of pliers. If he’d given her space and she closed up like a clam afterwards, then I could see maybe pushing a little, but he just went for it, then started talking about “don’t close me out, I’m not your ex blah blah.” Like, bitch. Did I say that’s what I was thinking? Maybe I just needed a minute after being thrown for a loop, and you all up in my face isn’t. fucking. helping? Bruh. He made me so angry with that. Jumping to conclusions and not honoring her request for space. Why do so many romance books treat personal space like the Black Death? It’s healthy. Having space is healthy. Asking for space when you’re upset and need to process for a bit is. healthy. What he shoulda did was apologize for breaking his promise to keep her privacy intact. Cause he failed. Even though he should’ve never made that promise because he’s not part of security.

I didn’t see why it was necessary to kill off one of the MCs, except that it set up another MC to take her spot in one of the later books in the series. Drama for drama’s sake is annoying. Drama as a ploy to set up the next book in a series (and try to drag you in) is worse. Frankly, I lost track of who the person was that died because there were a. fricking. lot of side characters and I didn’t give a crap about any of them. Honestly, this book felt more like a book about the family than a book about the romance between MCs. But another fine example of the fem MC being over-dramatic, she said “nothing will ever be the same,” in one of her inner monologues after the death and my eyes about rolled out of my head and down the street to the grocery store. SOMEBODY DIED, NO SHIT NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME. DUH. I can understand someone saying this in real life, but with all the other “woes of the world” crap that came out of her mouth, I was tired of her shit.

Maybe the previous books built up the characters of these MCs a little better so this book was just a bow on their story. But as it was I felt their romance was missing a sturdy foundation. Yeah, they’d met before, but look how that all turned out. They basically needed to start over to clear the air and then I felt their romance book focused more on what was going around them, and by the time it got to the end they were a suddenly a full item and I was baffled as to when/how the heck that happened.

Well, this one quickly got interesting when Bethany started to chew Everett out. And from her point of view Everett very much deserved it, but when you hear what happened to Everett after their illicit weekend, he got a pass. I was glad that Bethany gave Everett a second chance, he along with all the Wilder's were good people and she needed good people in her corner.

It was great that they had that time to build their relationship before it was all torn to hell by Bethany's ex. And man, when the ex started to pull his douche moves, he went big. I felt so bad for Bethany, it was wrong on so many levels! Worse was how it put her life in a tail spin.

I'm glad that Everett let Bethany know he had her back and wanted to be with her no matter what. Soon they both needed that connection as more crap started to fly at them fast. Hard to really talk about the drama at the end, it was so bad! While Everett and Bethany found their HEA, the rest of the Wilder family will be limping along, because when one of them hurts, they all hurt.

My review is written voluntarily after listening to the audio version of this book.

I have fallen in love with each of the Wilder brothers as I've read their stories, I've laughed with them and cried with them but in this particular story I have to say I cried more than I laughed and at times my heart ached because of what was happening or had happened. When you listen to the story you'll soon see what I mean.

Everett and Bethany met and both thought that despite their differences they had found "the one" it was a whirlwind courtship which was cut short when he left for Afghanistan, promising to call her. At this time he was serving in the military and she was a rising star. But he lost his phone and before he could contact her again he and his team were and an IED explosion where most of them died and he suffered a TBI which left him with recurring problems and a shattered memory.

Bethany went on to become a major star, she entered into a relationship with Dallas, also an actor, who cheated on her and their breakup caused a publicity storm. To escape she books herself into The Wilder Retreat, a place she had visited for a wedding a couple of months ago, she caught sight of Everett but never asked him why he didn't call her. As soon as she arrives at The Retreat she confronts Everett asking him why he never called her, to him she's the movie star he’s been crushing on but due to his TBI had no memory of them ever meeting, although his heart has never forgotten her.

I loved watching these two reconnect, it was both moving and poignant, each of them is a wonderful character and their story tugged at my heartstrings, always wondering if they could make it work. There were times I worried about Everett and how would he survive in her world. Would the press be kind? Of course, they found their way although it wasn't by any means an easy ride for them but I loved every minute of it.

But as always Carrie Ann reminded us that real life can throw us a curve ball just when things are going great it can deliver earth-shattering events which impact all those who love us and that is just what she did towards the end of this book. She had me in tears and desperate to read the next book in this series.

The narration of this book by Kit Swann and Patrick Zekker is wonderfully done, the performances given by both these talented actors are moving, bringing out every emotion and bringing the characters to life.

Hot,Hot, HOT! Emotional, a feast for the senses romance!

Carrie Ann Ryan continues her series involving the Wilder Brothers in The Path to You. Once again Carrie Ann Ryan has brought to life two characters that captured my heart and my imagination. Wounded Warrior Everett Wilder, the Wilder brothers CFO, is this veteran Army Nurse`s perfect hero. Carrie Ann Ryan's portrayal of Everett's struggle to function and build a new life despite the problems his Traumatic Brain Injury causes, brought me to tears many times within this story. Everett is a beautifully crafted character!

Pairing Everett with superstar Bethany Cole, Hollywood's hottest actress was pure literary genius. I could not see how that romance would ever work and doubted that a happily ever after ending could be achieved. Yet, I know better than to doubt Carrie Ann Ryan! It took many twists and turns but Carrie Ann succeeded in bringing the two together in a happy (and believable) ending. Meanwhile it was an emotional, sensual and at times suspenseful ride , as the two lovers worked out their relationship.

Carrie Ann Ryan Knows how to make a romance sizzle! Her ability to create sparks describing a simple kiss has always amazed me. As erotic as the love scenes were between the two main characters, somehow the sex never overpowered the romance and the plot of the story. The balance between hot, sizzling sex and sweet romance was perfect. But than that's what you expect with Carrie Ann!

I especially loved how Carrie Ann Ryan intertwined the growing relationship with Everett and Bethany, with the expanding friendship of the women of Wilder resort. I appreciate how the sisterhood between the females in this series is given equal billing to the development of between the love interests. There were many laugh out loud moments and some witty dialogue during those girls' night get togethers.

A Path to You is a not to be missed continuation of The Wilder brothers and the Wilder Resort's intriguing story. While it is a stand alone no cliffhanger novel, it is best read in order. It is well worth the time, the money and effort to read this book and any of Carrie Ann Ryan's many other creations!

Getting Through Tis!!!

Everett Wilder met Bethany Cole years ago, they had a night together whilst he was visiting a friend in LA. They went their separate ways and then his life was turned upside down when he got into an accident that left him with permanent scars.

There are parts of his life that he still didn't remember but each day he tries to live life o the fullest. Even though sometimes it felt like his demons were going to consume him. He always had a crush on a movie star named Bethany Cole, whenever he watched her in a movie he had a feeling like he knew her. Little did he know that their connection ran deeper than a simple crush.

Bethany Cole, a A-list movie star who had a passionate one night-stand with Everett Wilder. She never felt so connected to someone like that before but then he disappeared without a word. Years later they met again and he acted like he didn't remember who she was.

She decided to confront him and she got the shock of her life when she found out that he'd suffered a terrible accident and was left with partial memory lost. Her life was being turned upside because of her no good ex, his fans and the paparazzi. So she found herself at the Wilders resort to catch a break from all the craziness.

While there she felt as if she came home after a long time away. She reconnected with Everett, met new friends and she couldn't be more happier. That was until reality caught up with her. Someone was threatening her but her team, Everett and the rest of the Wilders had her back, no matter what.

It was great to see Everett and Bethany fight for their happiness, they made some mistakes along the way but they never give up on each other , come what may. Oh my the Wilder clan is growing. It was a treat to see Beckett and Eliza make an appearance as well as a few mentions of other characters.

THE PATH TO YOU is the third book in Carrie Ann Ryan's the WILDER BROTHERS series. Carrie Ann Ryan did an outstanding job. It was fast-paced, beautiful, adventurous, heart-wrenching and a fantastic read. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟

This third installment of this series was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from start to finish. This installment gives us Everett and Bethany's story as well as a teaser for what we can anticipate in the future for this series.

Everett, a victim of a road side bomb while serving our country now suffers from a TBI, headaches and memory loss. As a result of his memory loss, he forgets about his night with Bethany Cole but when he later meets her he feels drawn to her. He starts to remember her and has a strong protective instinct with her and slowly falls in love with her.

Bethany, a popular movie star is looking to relax after events in her life turned it upside down. She comes to the Wilder resort where she confronts Everett after the night they spent together in the past only to find out about his injury and his memory loss. She works through her issues with the events of her life and goes to face them but only after rekindling her relationship with Everett and forming bonds with his family that she did not realize that she was missing in her life.

This was a pretty good read that was enjoyable. There were a few twists that I did not expect but I will be honest in that as Bethany is working on dealing with her issues from her career and the events that took place before and after he vacation, I felt that she had a very strong 'poor me' attitude that turned me off at times. I feel that Bethany thought that she was doing Everett a favor by not wanting to involve him in her life and the issues that it at times brings but I also feel that better communication between the characters would have been better and Bethany would have had less time wallowing in her issues. I enjoyed the return of all of the characters from the previous books and being able to stay current with them.

In the audio book, the narration by Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann was performed well and made for an enjoyable listening experience. The pair did a great job bringing this story to life.

Overall this was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from start to finish. I would recommend this book and this series to others.

Love Everett and Bethany

Everett and Bethany's path is full of more than usual twists and turns. They've both had some rough and tragic things happen to them. But will they be able to work around the problems from those happenings or will they walk away from each other?

The answer to that question lies in this amazing work by Ms. Ryan. This is the 3rd book in the Wilder brothers series and boy is this one a doozy.

Everett is a wounded warrior, a little more so than his brothers in some ways. His injuries have affected the thing a good many of us treasure over anything else ... his mind. There are parts of his life that are gone after injuries sustained in war. One of those parts is when he found the woman he thought might be "the one".

Bethany's star is continuing to rise to the stratosphere. But she's not "the sweetheart". No, she's got so much going on and so many people trying to drag her back down to earth, she needs to get out of LaLa land for some much needed healing and time to just plain rest. She decides to head to the resort where she attended a wedding not to long ago.

The thing is ... Everett and Bethany have a past. One Everett doesn't remember, but Bethany doesn't know that. She thinks he's just been a jerk. These two have a lot to work out regarding their past. They also have an issue with a stalker threatening Bethany.

Will they work out their past, deal with the stalker, and get their happily ever after? Read the book and find out :) but you won't be disappointed.

One of the things I really liked about this book is that traumatic brain injury isn't treated as some sort of soap opera "all of a sudden they're fine" plot point. It's treated as the generally permanent issue it is. It's treated with truth, honesty and respect. And as a nurse and retired military wife I appreciate that so much.

TL:DR -- Book is awesome, characters and problems are treated correctly and developed well. Well worth your time and money to read it. ENJOY.

I have been so looking forward to being back on the Wilder Retreat and Winery. Starlett Bethany Cole is needing to escape her life in Hollywood to relax and regroup after a very public breakup. The Wilder Retreat and one Wilder brother calls to her. Everett on the other hand is still working through a life altering experience while serving in the military. I really empathize with Everett as works to balance taking care of himself, and working. The lasting effects from his injury are a constant balance.
I really really loved Bethany’s character. While she is “famous” and so recognizable she is just a person, and needs time to be herself, too. Due to her fame her circle is close, and so many of those people are also on her payroll. I think Carrie Ann Ryan did a great job highlighting how a life like this could be taxing on a person. But she is like any other woman that wants love, friendship, and for people to like her for her. I also fell hard and fast for Everett. He works so hard for his family, and he truly adores having his family so close to him. I really enjoyed how throughout the book Carrie Ann Ryan showed us how much the brothers took care of one another, and how strong and tight knit the family truly was. I also adored the peeks into the other brothers' lives! Everett and Bethany had a connection from the start, a familiarness that comes with time. These two really knew each other, and took care of each other. While Everett is still super alpha and wants nothing more than to protect Bethany against the world, he also recognizes her need to care for herself, too. Their chemistry was off the charts and it was easy to see their relationship lasting through all the obstacles life will throw at them. This was another amazing book by Ryan and I CANNOT wait for the next book….I am not sure how we will make the 125 days until its release! Do yourself a favor and start this series TODAY and be ready for Elijah’s book!

I’ve read several books by Ms. Ryan.
But this is my first Wilder Brother read,
This is Everett’s story.
The book had me hooked from start to finish.
It’s sweet, sexy and heartbreaking.
A wonderful love story that is paved in pain and uncertainty.
But through all the drama and hardships love will prevail.
I really liked Bethany. She’s smart, a hard worker and s kind person. But the people she trusts have betrayed her.
She decides to go to The Wider’s Retreat. It wasn’t just a random decision. It would serve two purposes.
One getting away for some alone time.
Two she had unfinished business with Everett Wilder.
I so loved Everett. He’s sweet, considerate, protects those he loves and he’s always the gentleman.
But he is suffering from effects of war.
What he went through broke my heart.
When he is telling and describing to Bethany what he saw and went through brought me to tears. I was so distraught and could feel his absolute pain and anguish reliving that horrific experience.
Bethany also has her own baggage to deal with.
Both have a lot on their plates.
So when they give their relationship a go it’s now an overflow.
But with determination and their belief in their love they will overcome all the obstacles that stand in their way.
While the story talks place in Austin, Texas it has the feel of a small town romance.
It’s because of the sense of family and the love and dedication the siblings have for each other and their significant others. I loved how they are all there for each other through thick and thin.
I definitely going to go back and read the previous two books and I’m absolutely looking forward to reading Elijah’s book after reading that last chapter!

Compelling romance

Bethany and Everett were just beginning to start a romance when his life was shattered while serving overseas. She had no idea that anything had happened, so when she sees him again a couple years later and he (understandably) doesn't remember her, she can't even begin to figure out why. Luckily, there's enough drama and conflict available for these two that the author didn't let his TBI complicate things for too long.

Hollywood star Bethany has a stalker, one who seems to easily and often bypass the security of the Wilder Resort. This wouldn't have been quite so frustrating if there hadn't been such an emphasis placed on how secure she was there. Even so, that storyline drives the tension and suspense surrounding the romance, giving Bethany and Everett plenty of opportunities to learn about each other and fall deeply in love.

For a romance about two people from very disparate walks of life, this worked beautifully and I was rooting for them from the start. The author deftly switches back and forth between the past and the present to give us their entire story, which adds a richness and depth that was very satisfying.

There's a plot development that honestly stunned me, and it wasn't until I got to the end that I realized it had been done to set up the next book. I'm not sure how I feel about that, except to say that I have learned with this author that no character or relationship is ever truly safe, adding a degree of realism that is inescapably heartbreaking.

Bethany and Everett get their HEA and I really enjoyed seeing the two previous couples living out their own HEAs. I'm looking forward to continuing with this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥

Everett Wilder never thought he would have a chance with a big-time celebrity like Bethany Cole, but when she confronts him during a chance meeting at his family's business, it turns out that he was completely wrong after all.

Bethany just wanted an escape from the spotlight as she processes her breakup when her boyfriend cheats on her. The last person she expected on her impromptu retreat is the man who ghosted her many years ago.

I always adore a visit to the Wilders Brother universe, and this read is no exception. I thought a second chance that involves memory loss was so cleverly done. Our two main characters have to navigate around their individual trauma and problems while dealing with their unfinished business as partners, and these circumstances certainly bring the angst.

The chemistry between Everett and Bethany was certainly spicy. Even when they were adversarial, the tension was sizzling and fantastically punctuated with the spicy scenes.

This is the third book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. If you love second chance romance with a twist, this book is a fantastic pick.

** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Carrie Ann Ryan and Give Me Book PR for providing an ARC. **

Forgotten memories, life-changing moments and second chances. The Path to You give the reader all the feels.

Hollywood starlet Bethany Cole always has a spotlight on her for one reason or another.
The intensity is kicked up a notch when her boyfriend cheats on her. Bethany does not want the media to control her life therefore decides to take a break. Her destination will be checking two things off of her list. She will be in a safe place to hide from the media, and to be able to confront a man who has held onto her heartstrings for quite some time.

Everett Wilder suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving in the military. Everett now helps his brothers run the welder resort and winery, while dealing with the side effects that come with his injury. Memory, loss, headaches, and sudden nausea, are a few of the things that he deals with on a daily basis. When a high profile guest stays at the resort to get some private time, it’s like a teenager‘s dream. Come true that his fantasy girl is within arms reach. Yet when, confronted by the beautiful Bethany Cole, he realizes that the accident took away something more than he has the ability to remember at the moment.

Bethany and Everett are something special. Both have major things in their lives in big ways. As the memories begin to return, and their relationship rekindles, they give us a very intense story. A story that will make you laugh and cry, and feel very deeply. Bethany and Everett have an intense story that has a good bit of drama. But somehow they find their way back to each other through all the craziness, and find a real life happily ever after.

The Path to You is the third book in The Wilder Brothers series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Days before Everett was to go on deployment overseas, he had an intense but brief relationship with Bethany, a movie star that he has always crushed on. Vowing to contact each other once he comes home, he unfortunately Sustains a life threatening injury on duty and now suffers from traumatic brain injury. This results in headaches, difficulty doing everyday tasks and memory loss, and one of the things he forgets is the encounter he had. Now he works with his six brothers who own and operate a winery and resort, and when he meets her again as a guest at a wedding of the resort, she is hurt to realize that he doesn’t remember their encounter at all and treats her like a stranger.

When Bethany comes back to take distance herself from a scandal, and get away from paparazzi, Everett comes to remember her and they try to rekindle things, even though they both know that their time together has an expiration date.

This book was everything I’ve come to expect from Carrie Ann Ryan. Her characters make you fall in love with them with their humor, their charm, and the love they have for family. The Wilder family are hands down one of my favorites to read about, (how could you not love an ex-military family of brothers who would do anything for each other?) and I loved the latest installment. The book has drama, wit, and if you’re looking for amazing spice, it won’t let you down. I can’t wait to keep reading about the brothers!

Thank you so much to GiveMeBooks PR and to Carrie Ann Ryan for providing me with an ARC of this book.

The Path to You is the third installment in C.A.R’s Wilder Brother series. I have yet to meet a Wilder that I don’t like, so getting my hands on this baby was a happy surprise. TPRY has all the feels of a second chance romance, but the fiery meet-cute of a first love too.

Everett Wilder’s life hasn’t been the same since his last tour overseas. Not only did it leave him with scars, but he still doesn’t remember chunks of his past. Just before his life was literally turned on its head, he met Bethany, an up and coming celebrity. Their tryst was short, but left them both hopeful for more. Then his accident. He forgets their time together.

Fast forward and Bethany is a hot shot, mega celebrity running from her ex, a scandal, the crazy paparazzi and now the possibility of a stalker. She needs a safe place to relax while things calm down. Where else would she land than the Wilder Resort with none other than Everett Wilder himself. The one man she has never had a stronger connection with, but also the one that never came back for her. The kicker? He says he doesn’t remember their time together.

As the story unfolds and we piece together all that has happened, Bethany and Everett rekindle their spark for one another. While that happens, the danger that Bethany was hiding from gets closer, and finally catches up to her.

The drama in this book is FIRE! C.A.R doesn’t disappoint. Drama, spiciness, mystery, military family, The Path to You has it all. There is a holy moly moment in this book, and ohhhhh it is so good! I can’t wait to read what comes next. Five stars!

**Audiobook Review**

Oh those Wilder Brothers, they are quickly becoming one of my favorite group of brothers. “The Path to You” is a heartfelt, sweet and suspenseful second chance romance that pulled me in from the beginning as Everett and Bethany find their way back to each other.

After breaking up with her cheating boyfriend, movie star Bethany Cole escapes to the Wilder Winery for some peace and a much needed break. Everett Wilder is the CFO for the winery and had a rough discharge from the Military and is working on his health. But when he sees Bethany again, the past the two shared together comes back and he wants a second chance with her. But Bethany is receiving threats from someone who wants to hurt her and Everett vows to protect her.

I loved the instant connection between Everett and Bethany. It was there right from the start and burned throughout their story. Bethany is a sweet, gentle and independent woman who was the perfect match for Everett. Everett is so protective yet gentle and might have become my favorite brother. He’s patient and willing to do what he needs to help Bethany get through the things she was going through. There were a lot of ups and downs for them to get their HEA but everything made them stronger. I loved having the other brothers in the story and how interconnected they are with each other.

Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann brought all the emotions of this story to life. This was such an emotionally filled story and they were so wonderful as Everett and Bethany. Both of their performances were beautiful and will be a relisten for me.
